Epilogue 2 - Hollee
Dear Mom,
I understand now why Christmas is so special to you.
I mean, I know it’s always been a big deal in our family, since you named Noel and I how you did - but it’s taken on a whole new meaning now Hunter is in our lives. You were right, seeing your own kid’s excitement about Christmas makes you understand the holidays in a whole new way.
Hunter is really excited about seeing his Grandma and Grandpa. And having even more presents than usual LOL! I can’t wait for you and Dad to get here. Tell Dad he needs his lucky thermal underwear, we’re due some heavy snow.
I’ve put down roots in Snowflake Falls that I didn’t even know I had.
Who would have guessed that this cute little town had so much to offer?
When I came here from the city I didn’t know what I was missing.
I hate to say you were right again, but I am a country girl at heart and living in a community like this has really opened my eyes.
Noel is also excited to see you. You know that guy Paul he met here?
Well it’s definitely serious and he’s desperate for you and Dad to meet him.
He’s a really nice guy, Snowflake born and bred too like Tannen, and just starting up his own catering business.
He brings cakes whenever he visits so he’s obviously welcomed with open arms in this house!
We Tree Kings are on track to have their best ever season this year.
Tannen’s been working with some guys who own a Christmas tree farm up in the mountains and their trees are really beautiful.
The illustration on the front of this card is one I’ve done from a photo of me, Hunter and Tan in the snow with all our trees in the background.
See you in two weeks. Our tree is already up and everything looks so cozy.
