SECTION I: RENUNCIATION
I, Petra Vassos, formerly Senior Sentinel (rank suspended), Julian Pack, Eastern Border Division, do hereby formally and irrevocably renounce my membership in the Julian Pack under the governance of Alpha Ronan Kayce Julian.
This renunciation is made freely, without coercion, and with full understanding that it severs all ties of rank, obligation, and protection afforded by the Julian Pack. I am not under duress. I am not fleeing criminal accountability. I am leaving because there is nothing left to stay for.
Grounds for renunciation:
10 months ago, I sustained a serious injury during a routine border patrol on the eastern ridge trail. I reported through the standard chain of command. I was given bed rest and oral painkillers. I was not given further care. I was told I would return to duty in four weeks.
After six weeks of deterioration, I was reassigned from the Sentinel corps to supply logistics. After eight weeks, when I could no longer stand for the duration of an inventory shift, I was told to seek treatment at the Ironholt Commune and that my position would not be held.
I was born into the Julian Pack under the previous alpha and served since I came of age. I held the eastern border through two territorial disputes and a rogue incursion. I trained under Lead Sentinel Soleil Addison, now Luna Soleil Julian and maintained a commendation record with no disciplinary marks.
When I broke my spine, my pack gave me a bottle of pills and a seat on the next van out.
I don’t owe them a forwarding address.

SECTION II: MEDICAL STATUS
Surgical repair of L3/L4 compression fracture performed by Dr. Asha Patel, MD, Clinical Director, Ironholt Commune, fourteen weeks after initial injury. Post-surgical rehabilitation supervised by Dr. Patel and the commune physical therapy staff over a period of six months.
Current status: Cleared for full duty. Residual stiffness in the lumbar region, manageable. The limp is gone. I kept the cane — it’s good steel and you never know.

SECTION III: ACCEPTANCE OF TRANSFER
I, Petra Vassos, do hereby accept membership in the Ironholt Pack under the governance of Alpha Aleksander Vasik and Luna Sasha Vasik.
I accept the position of Head of Security, Ironholt Healer’s Commune, reporting to the Luna and the Clinical Director. My duties include physical security of the facility and grounds, safety protocols for staff and patients, and coordination with regional pack liaisons regarding patient transport and territorial access.
I understand that the commune operates as neutral ground. I understand that wolves from any pack — including the Julian Pack — will be treated here without prejudice. I understand that my personal history does not entitle me to make exceptions.
I understand this because the woman who rebuilt my spine is the same woman whose life was dismantled by the pack I just left, and she treated me anyway. If she can do that, I can hold a door open.

This is the fourteenth transfer acceptance processed by this office in the current fiscal year. Twelve of the fourteen transferees arrived with injuries that should have been treated by their packs of origin. Nine were referred to surgical care within their first week. The commune’s patient load has increased 40% year over year. Our funding has not.
I am filing this note because someone should be counting, and I’ve learned from the Luna that if you don’t write it down, it didn’t happen.
