Ch66 Sesshōmarus Return #4
"Again sloppy Inuko." Sesshōmaru sighed out before she sighed. "Y/N I was hoping for a better fight aside from my dissipointment in my kin. So far I've been dissipointed...more so in myself."
...Jaken looked like he was going to pass out from shock at hearing that.
Still I wasn't expecting that either.
"Last time you admitted the last good fight in 50 years...your skills have dulled than you would admit." Yura said as her hands as Inuko let out a laugh.
"Indeed, and the weeks have been far less fruitful than I have wished. None of you would have stopped me from claiming Tessaiga otherwise. I was expecting this kind of resistance."
Sesshōmaru said before looking at me and Yura.
"Yet for it to go by like this, nothing like I envisioned since last night...it will only make claiming my birthright all the more satisfying. Y/N, Yura, Inuko I will give you all one more warning."
"And Kagome, you are not giving her the same?" I asked as I narrowed my eyes.
"That annoying human does not deserve the same courtesy." Sesshōmaru siad before glaring at the side. "Jaken, it's time."
He snapped out of his stupor and grinned as both mouths of the Nintōjō opened up.
"Glady Lady Sesshōmaru!" Jaken declared as wisps of steam poured out of them.
What were they-
I was broken from my thoughts and barely could keep my grip on Shusūi as Inuko yanked me by the back of my gi hard.
Right as Sesshōmaru trusted her left hand with miasma leaking off her fingers. Exactly where my shard had been.
That was too close.
Jumping back from us as her head twitched to the side, narrowly avoiding an arrow from scratching her hair. Yura smirked as Sesshōmaru was descending back towards the oni.
What was she-
I was snapped out from my thoughts as I saw a pink flash in the corner of my eye coming right towards us.
"Inuko-""I already see it, duck now!" Inuko cut me off as she shoved me down as Kagome's arrow sailed over our heads.
Practually enshrouded in reiryoku as it closed the gap and Sesshōmaru twisted her body to avoid it striking her left arm.
Instead it pierced through her right forearm below the elbow to her surprise as she landed and clutched her arm.
"Okay your girl need to work on her aim. But still nice shot." Inuko said, to which I can only nod as I looked back to Yura.
She was smiling at Kagome who was leaning agaisnt the roof and panting, looking on with a grin.
I imagine it took a lot out of her, but I have to admit that was a good plan.
(Yura POV)
Okay the girl can work on her aim a bit, but that should be more than enough for now.
"I think you two should go up to Kagome now." Inuko said with a frown as her eyes narrowed.
Looking at Sesshōmaru, I could see her right hand trembling and twitch before she gave a cold glare in Kagome's direction.
Ripping out the arrow faster then my eyes can track and tossed it up at the oni. Piercing it's shoulder near the imp's foot, the oni letting out a pained growl and Jaken letting out a loud squak as he tossed the Nintōjō down at her.
I dragged off master towards Kagome before he could say anything as she caught the staff and the entire thing erupted into a cloud of steam.
Not sure what exactly she had planned until Kagome's arrow, but from the way master seemed to flinch it meant nothing but trouble.
(Sesshōmaru POV)
That harlot...
Once again I had misjudged her and nearly lost the human's arm.
With how much reiryoku it contained my right arm below the elbow feels a little numb. Feels like the my hand and fingers could only move a little. It will take a few before this injury could heal up.
That damned human...it seems like it had wiped her out, but I will not write her off again.
She needed to be dealt with and Y/N and Yura are going to defend her...I can work with this.
Perhaps they will fight harder to protect her and Inuko.
Father despite his condition and recovering took an entire human army that Yomi accuresed night. If the castle hadn't burned down he'd still be alive...
Banishing those thoughts, I smiled a little as the steam let up and trained my blade at Y/N and Yura where headed.
Right in the direction of the that harlot.
"Kagome was it, fine I'll give you the warning as the rest. Do not disappoint me again." I said.
It had been 50 years since I was this eager for a fight that seemed promising, he'd better at least put up a challenge before I claim Tessaiga or remove that girl's head from her shoulders.

Hey guys Mukuro7 here and it's been a while. I'll keep things short but just been very busy recently.
More or less this is half of what I had originally planned, yet I figured that it is probably best to it split up.
Though it will be awhile as I will be focusing on a few of my other stories that I haven't updated in a while, but should be back to this story soon enough.
Though admittedly probably also going to be busy this next month...
admittedly mainly playing video games and watching a few shows.
Anyway next time as I teased in chapter 50, Sesshōmaru has decided to take things up a notch and is now more determined to get what she wants.
