FOURTEEN #2
uck. D chill washed oHer me as CainRs eyes met mine, properly for the vrst time since we had danced at the club. If our sessions together at the gym inHolHed him staring up at me for all of them, I would not haHe been able to deal with it. I would haHe been lost in his eyes and he would haHe suckered me into them. This was just like when we had started dancing back at the club, Cain was too close for comfort. Dnd where would I escape to this time‘ Ly bed‘ 9reat, it was probably what he wanted and he was just saying this to get in my pants.
-”ou didnRt haHe to do that. I can take care of myself, Cain. ”ou would know, IRHe applied that many icepacks to you oHer these last few weeks.’
-Dlicia, please. ”ouRHe taken care of me enough as it is. ItRs about time I repaid the faHour.’
-IRm just doing my job.’
-Dnd it was my fault that you were in that situation. I realise what I did. It wonRt happen again.’
-Cain IRm your physiotherapist. I know we went out for a picnic and drinks, but that was unprofessional of me. ”our dad is paying me a lot of money to make sure that youRre ready to vght again.’
-It doesnRt matter what Nuncan thinks of you.’
-”es, it does. “eRs paying me.’
-ThatRs where youRre wrong, Dlicia. The chezues might come from “ard Onocks 9ym, but IRm paying for you, and I think youRre worth eHery cent.’
Cain took my hand in his, his vngers engulvng mine. “is palm was warm and calloused, a map of hard work against my softer skin. It was one of the few parts of his body I had not touched a lot of. I felt smaller than I had eHer felt before, like a bird caught in a steel trap. There was something about the way he looked at me, his eyes darkening at the edges, pupils expanding like ink dropped in water. There was something about the way he held my hand. Cain was not just touching it, but claiming it, his thumb tracing slow, deliberate circles against my wrist where my pulse betrayed me. Mhilst there was no chance the room was physically warmer, and it had been a while since my last drink, there was a noticeable increase in temperature.
I looked to CainRs lips and then up into his dark steelAgrey eyes before my eyes darted towards his lips again. I was so close I could see eHery miniscule moHement on his face, eHery twitch in his rugged twoAday old stubble. Ly heart stopped for a moment as he stared back at me. There was electricity in the air around us, and it felt like my hair was standing on its ends. Cain was conYicted, I could see it written all oHer his face. “is eyes dropped to my lips as well before I heard a low growl escape his throat. “e was coarse and sounded like he had a lump caught in his throat.

0efore I knew what had come oHer me, all of my professionalism had gone out the window, and I was no longer interested in how my wrist was feeling. There was one thing I wanted to feel and that was Cain inside me.
“DKN OS1CO3 72!
The room heated up by a hundred degrees as I shot forward towards him. Cain met me in the middle, our lips the vrst point of contact between us. This time, this touch was more than just a localised shockwaHe on my wrist. It was a full body experience, radiating through my entire being as Cain kissed me. I was enHeloped by his warmth, his touch, his eHerything.
It felt like he had hands all oHer my body, touching eHery inch of my skin. I wanted him to tear my dress o; and to leaHe it on the Yoor, and I wanted to be able to rip that fucking grey shirt o; him as well. Mhy was it now that he had clothes inconHeniencing me‘ “e was that comfortable haHing his shirt o; around me at any other time, why not now‘ I wanted to tear it, not caring what he was going to wear on his way home. Cain paused, and he locked eyes with me again.
-Careful, Dlicia. NonRt do anything youRre going to regret.’
-I donRt think thatRs possible with you.’
-I know itRs not for me.’
0efore I knew what was happening, I had already surrendered to Cain. “e stood up from the bar stool, as I remoHed the last of his buttons. There was one challenge done and out of the way with. Sow came his pants. I doHe forward, but Cain met me halfway. “e was pulling at my dress, tugging it oHer my head. or a moment I raised my hands and with his strength, the once tight dress was Yying oHer my head, leaHing me in nothing but my bra and panties.
CainRs eyes dropped to my chest and below as he took eHerything in. This was the vrst time he was seeing me and he took a moment to breathe.
-”ouRre fucking gorgeous, Dlicia.’
-3o are you.’
uck. I wanted to stop and stare, but CainRs hands were moHing again. I was vghting against him and I wanted his pants on the ground. Ly
hands found their way to his belt and met no resistance as I unbuckled
it. I whipped his belt free of the jeans loops and threw it onto the ground
beside us. In a heartbeat CainRs jeans fell down and all that he was left in was his unbuttoned grey shirt and his underwear that were a simple black bonds pair. This was more than I had seen of him and Cain shrugged his shirt from his shoulders. There was still a chance that I could go back on what was going on, but something told me that Cain was not going to take
no for an answer.
-”ou know if we do this, thereRs no going back right‘’
-Considering that my pants are around my ankles already, I think itRs too
late to go back.’
”eah, he was not going to say no to me. This was happening and there
was nothing that I could do about it. -”ou could say no.’
Cain shrugged. The fact that he was so nonchalant about this whole
ordeal was frustrating to me, but as he stood there, almost naked, I found
that I only wanted him more. Then as he spoke, his Hoice low and deep, it
changed the complexion in the room within a sentence.
-I could, but you and I both know that youRre fucking mine.’ I wanted to drop to my knees then and there. “e had me in a Hice. -I
want it, Cain.’
Cain took half a step closer to me, and his embrace was all that I wanted.
I felt shrouded in warmth and wanted him to consume me. -”ou should
know that IRm no gentleman.’
-I donRt care.’
-”ouRre hurt.’
I paused and pulled away from Cain so that I could stare into his eyes. It
was taking eHery vber in my body not to fold. I had to match his intensity.
-I told you. I donRt care.’
-ine, you asked for it.’
