Dont deny it stalker

Chapter 56

Lorenzo

"The storm yesterday was absolutely crazy," Matteo muttered, joining the conversation as we navigated the crowded main staircase.

"Tell me about it. A tree fell in our garden and ripped right through the fence," Ben added, shoving his hands into his pockets as we turned the corner at the bottom of the landing.

I was barely listening. My eyes locked onto a flash of blonde hair cutting through the crowd.

Sophia.

She walked next to Maria, her slight frame looking impossibly fragile against the wave of students.

As always, she held her books tightly against her chest like a shield.

The second her gaze met mine, she froze mid-step.

Her posture went entirely rigid. She whispered something to Maria, nodded, and then altered her path, marching directly toward me.

"Can we talk?" she asked, completely ignoring Ben and Alex. Her voice was steady, but I caught the slight tremor in her hands.

I looked down at her, letting the silence stretch for two torturous seconds before giving a slow nod. "Yeah."

She spun on her heel and led the way back upstairs. I followed her until she shoved open the door to an empty, sunlit classroom. Stepping inside behind her, I watched her peek out into the hallway one last time before clicking the door shut.

Her textbooks were still pinned aggressively against her stomach . I watch her taking a few steps into the room, tracking me while I casually leaned against a table, waiting for her to break the silence .

"I want you to forget everything I said last night," she finally blurted out, her chin lifted defensively.

I didn't say a word. I just slowly raised one eyebrow, pinning her with a heavy, unblinking look that made her shift uncomfortably on her feet.

And don't do that," she snapped, taking a sharp step back.

"Do what?" I challenge, my voice dropping into a low murmur.

I advance on her, slow and predatory, until I close the distance between us. She tries to lean back, but there is nowhere left to go. She is already trapped against the teacher's desk. A sharp hitch escapes her breath, a tiny, involuntary sound of submission that goes straight to my groin.

She has no choice but to look up at me.

"This," she hisses, her chest heaving against her books. "Whatever this is. Stop looking at me like that."

I lean down, planting my hands on the wooden surface of the desk on either side of her, boxing her in completely.

She pushes back against the desk to escape the closeness, but there's nowhere for her body to go except closer to me.

She's sitting in front of me now, wide-eyed, lips parted, as if the words she wants to say keep dying before they reach her mouth.

"Don't tell me..." I whisper, my gaze fixed on hers, cutting her off before she can start the lie.

"Tell you what?" she breathes.

The air between us goes thick, the silence amplifying every ragged breath she takes.

My eyes trace the line of her throat, where her pulse hammers just under the skin, giving her away.

I hook one finger under her knee and drag it slowly toward me, forcing her thighs to part just enough, for me to step in forcing her to feel exactly how close I intend to get.

"That you're afraid you caught feelings yesterday," I say, each word deliberate, unhurried, letting the weight of it settle over her like a hand around her throat.

Her eyes flash. She shakes her head, stubborn pride clawing its way back to the surface.

"You're mistaken, Calloway," she snaps. She tries to sound sharp, tries to sound like she means it.

And yet she doesn't push me away.

She doesn't break the contact.

She never does.

I lower my head until my mouth is a breath from her ear.

"So you feel absolutely nothing." I ask and let my finger trail testing under the inside of her skirt.

"Nothing," she insists. But her body has gone rigid, frozen, betraying every word out of her mouth.

The tension between us pulls taut, string about to snap.

"So this..." I murmur, sliding my finger beneath the fabric, watching her pupils blow wide, watching her breath catch and hold, "makes you feel nothing?"

It's electric. Combustible.

I don't even know anymore which one of us started this , only that she's the one who fucking ordered me in here .And I willingly followed her.

No questions asked.

So her we are ,her I am testing her boundaries waiting for her to push me way.

"I feel disgust," she blurts, and it almost snaps me back to reality.

Almost.

"Is that so." I let my fingers trace slow, idle circles against her skin, feel her shiver beneath my touch, feel her trying and failing to hold herself together.

"Then why is your skin covered in goosebumps for me?"

I whisper, low enough that it's barely sound at all, just breath and threat and want.

"And why are you not pushing me away Shophia ? "

She only shakes her head, mute, unable to lie her way out of what her body is already confessing.

Fuck.

I can feel the heat radiating off her. I can feel myself harden at the mere thought of how she would taste.

" tell me, stalker," I whisper against her ear, "what would I find if I pressed just a little further?" I drag the question out, syllable by syllable, savoring the way it makes her shudder. "Would you be soaked for me?"

I turn my face just enough to watch her to catch the exact second her resolve starts to crack, the exact second she stops pretending she doesn't want this.

"I..."she starts when all of a sudden a loud SLAM cracks through the room.

The heavy classroom door flew open, violently shattering the silence. The sudden noise hit like a physical jolt. Startled, Sophia pushed me away and scrambled off the teacher's desk.

We both whipped around toward the doorway.

Standing on the threshold was Mr. Harrison, his expression hardened into icy disapproval.

Behind him, the hallway was a sea of students peering into the room.

Among them, I spotted Vivien's minions. Within seconds, whispers rippled through the crowd like wildfire.

Sophia looked utterly overwhelmed. She tugged at her clothes, her cheeks burning a deep, humiliated crimson.

I, however, didn't move a single muscle. I slowly leaned back against the desk, crossing my arms. My expression remained entirely cool and detached. Externally, I looked completely unimpressed by the spectacle. Internally, a dark, jagged annoyance was building.

For a matter of fact, I'm fucking pissed.

"Mr. Calloway. Miss Miller," Mr. Harrison's voice rang out, cold and demanding. "My office. Now."

"We weren't making out," Sophia explained for the fifth time. She turned to me, subtly nudging my arm with her elbow. "Go on. Tell him."

I slowly lowered my crossed arms, keeping my posture entirely relaxed. "It's true, Sir."

"Then why exactly did Mr. Harrison report that you two were fooling around in his classroom?" the principal asked. He looked back and forth between Sophia and me, his expression deeply skeptical.

"It was completely harmless," I lied smoothly, letting my voice drip with aristocratic charm. "Sophia just asked me to check if there was a speck of dust caught in her eye. That's all."

The second the lie left my mouth, the tight tension drained right out of the principal's face. The Calloway name always worked like magic in this school. Beside me, Sophia stared at me, her eyes wide with a mix of shock and relief at how effortlessly I manipulated the situation.

"Yes, exactly, Sir," she quickly chimed in, her voice pitching a little too high.

The principal let out a heavy sigh. He gave us one last stern look before finally dismissing us with nothing more than a formal warning.

"See what happens when you're around?" Sophia snapped the moment the office door clicked shut behind us. She marched down the hallway right behind me, her cheeks still dusted a light shade of pink.

"Shall we continue where we left off, then?" I asked, teasingly.

Without warning, I halted dead in my tracks and spun around. Sophia didn't have time to brake. She plowed straight into my chest.

I looked down at her, a wicked, knowing smirk playing on my lips as that familiar electricity zapped between us once again.

"As I said," she whispered, planting a totally fake, tight grin on her face as she recovered her balance. "I am not interested in you, Calloway."

She intentionally brushed her shoulder against mine as she strode past, heading down the corridor.

"If you say so " I called after her, watching the sharp sway of her hips as she walked away. A dark satisfaction settled in my chest.

I turned around and made my way toward my final class of the day, my hands shoved deep into my pockets.
