Have to Pay

ROSEMARY

My hands ripped at his handmade tunic, tugging it over his broad shoulders.

My thighs pressed against his waist as I shifted, the friction a heated promise.

I traced the dark tattoos on his neck and the jagged scar along his spine.

Sparks ignited where our flesh met, anchoring me against the rough bark of a stout tree.

Elias held me with one hand on my hip, the other loosening my dress’s ties.

Hair brushing his face, our lips crashed together, tongues dancing, breath mingling.

When cool forest air kissed my bare skin as my dress fell away, his mouth trailed from my lips to my throat, stubble grazing my flesh, hot kisses traveling to my chest. He lavished my nipple with eager strokes, pleasure blooming from within.

I arched into him, moaning as my dress pooled at our feet.

I yanked at his trousers until he joined me, his hardness pressing into my core.

My legs curled around his waist as delirium threatened my balance.

His storm-gray gaze held me as he carried me to a mossy bed, my hair fanned beneath my head.

Hovering above, he brushed a thumb across my brow, lifted a strand of hair from my face, and stared down at me with fierce intensity.

“Last chance to say no,” he said.

His expression was earnest, but I growled at him, my fingers twining around his wrist so that I could guide his touch to my core.

As his fingers dipped into my folds, he found me already hot and wanting.

The heat that consumed my veins had pooled within my core, building into a roaring fire with just the feeling of his skin against mine.

Gods, it had been so long since I’d been held, touched, or kissed, but nothing in my memory compared to the way I felt in his arms. Elias’s fingers grazed my center, and my hips rolled, begging for more as he teasingly pulled his touch away, to my inner thigh, before slowly, agonizingly, returning to my throbbing heat.

I bucked beneath him as he grazed my folds, and then he slipped a finger into that heat, making my blood sing.

“More,” I cried out in a raspy breath. I wanted more. I wanted all of him.

He smirked down at me, his one hand toying with the heat of my core while his other grazed my hip, my stomach, my breast. "Gods, princess, you are so damn beautiful," he said, his gaze roaming my body.

I ground my hips, pressing myself into him with wanton need, forgetting his words almost as soon as he had spoken them.

His lips crashed into mine with such intensity, and I let him devour me as I dug my fingers into the length of his hair, letting the silken strands fall between my fingertips as I gingerly dug the tips of my nails into his scalp.

He hovered above me, but there was still so much space between us.

My lips quirked into a grin against his kiss, and then I shoved his head sideways until I could roll myself atop him, placing him beneath me and leaving him staring up at me with wide eyes.

Settling myself above him, I dragged my hands down the rigid lines of his chest until I took his length into the palm of my hand. He moaned low in his throat as his gaze locked onto mine, his fingers reaching for my jaw so that he could cup my cheek.

“Wait,” he said, dragging the tip of his tongue along his lips as he stared up at me. “I want to look at those beautiful eyes as I take you. I want to watch your face as we come together. Please, princess, give me that.”

Unable to deny his request, I slowed my movements, keeping my attention glued to Elias. I nodded, bringing my lips to his and kissing him softly as I positioned the tip of him toward my core. My heart fluttered within my chest at the feel of his lips against mine and his cock against my center.

“Do as you wish, princess. You have all the control. Use me, let go, but whatever you do, do not look away from me,” he said, his voice husky and his gray eyes glimmering with delight.

I nodded, unable to trust my voice. With deliberate care, I lowered myself onto him, feeling the gradual stretch as my body adjusted to his size.

A delightful pain coursed through me, and I cried out as sensations clashed within.

Fae were larger than mortals, and it had been ages since I'd been with one.

As Elias filled me, the rumors about unseelie length proved true.

I paused above him, our eyes locked, as his hands slid up my ribcage to cup my breasts.

He flicked my nipples, sending electricity through me.

With a heavy sigh of pleasure, I rocked my hips against him, never breaking eye contact.

Our bodies moved as if crafted for one another, his presence filling me perfectly.

Our hearts pounded in unison. We locked eyes, as he requested, an intimacy almost overwhelming but irresistible.

Even as a storm of desire gathered within me, I couldn't look away.

I drove myself harder, faster, chasing the brink of ecstasy, desperate for release.

His hands roamed over my skin, electrifying every inch, before cupping my cheeks to pull my lips to his.

I moaned into his mouth, teetering on the edge, rocking against him as the tension built.

Something profound stirred within me. It was more than physical pleasure, more than emotional connection.

It felt like coming home, like finding a piece of myself I hadn't known was missing.

The sensation was so overwhelming, so complete, that tears pricked at the corners of my eyes.

This felt right in a way that defied explanation, as if we'd been made for this moment, for each other.

My head snapped back, tearing from his kiss as a cry ripped from my throat and echoed into the woods around us as an explosion of pleasure ricocheted through my body.

It rippled through me, and as my entire body stilled, Elias began rocking against me, rolling us until he towered above me once more.

Waves of pleasure washed through my tender core, and my breath heaved as I moaned at the sensations washing over me.

Elias pressed himself into my center until we were flush against one another, his movements slow and forceful.

He growled against my chest, the vibrations sending me over the edge again as his heated mouth clamped against my hardened nipple.

He suckled, then spoke against my sensitive flesh, “Oh, princess. You broke my gaze. You are going to have to pay for that now.”

His warning thrilled me, and before I could respond, he thrust harder, fingers gripping my thighs as he lifted my knees.

This angle let him delve deeper, and I cried out, his name escaping my lips in a breathless shout.

His body pressed against mine, his mouth ravaging my skin, building to a shattering crescendo, sending me spiraling as my body clenched around him.

I felt his pulsing length within me, and every part of my being was engulfed in pleasure like never before.

Elias slowed, his length slipping from me. My heart fluttered, and I tried to ignore the feelings igniting within me. I turned from him as I caught my breath, but his fingers gripped my chin, forcing my attention back to him.

“Oh, princess, we are far from done.”

I moaned as his mouth closed around the lobe of my ear.

My body trembled as those kisses traveled down my neck.

I whimpered as he dragged that warmth to my breast, his tongue twirling against the sensitive flesh there before he dropped those kisses lower still.

His stubbled chin sent shivers through my spine as he kissed my hips, my thigh, the crease between my leg and my heated core.

My breath came in short bursts as I arched against him, waiting for that warmth to consume my center, for that tongue to explore my depths.

With my chin resting on my chest, I locked my gaze onto him as he devoured me.

My fingers tangled in his hair as he moved between my legs, his tongue teasing that sensitive spot while his fingers traced lines along my thighs, tantalizingly close until they plunged into that warmth, making me throw my head back in ecstasy.

Just as I teetered on the edge of another orgasm, he pulled away, leaving me wanting, until he positioned himself between my legs.

Then, with the softest, slowest movements, he took me.

His fingers grazed my brow, the sides of my face, my jaw.

With tender kisses and soft touches, our bodies moved together, slow and steady.

Lovemaking. The last bit of resistance in my heart shattered as he made love to me, as if I were the most precious thing in the world, as if I truly were his.

And as he moved with me, I unraveled in his arms all over again.

Afterward, as we lay entwined beneath the canopy of trees, something settled deep in my chest. A sense of completion I'd never experienced before, as if puzzle pieces I hadn't known were scattered had finally clicked into place.

When Elias traced lazy patterns on my skin, each touch felt like a promise, like a vow spoken in a language older than words.

Whatever this was between us, it felt eternal, unbreakable, written in the very fabric of our souls.
