Goon #3
By the time Menace finished with him, Castello couldn’t move. He was still alive because I could hear his annoying ass whimpers. Menace stared down at him while he caught his breath, wanting to do more.
Kora walked closer to the bed, grabbing his face and shoving the barrel of her gun into his mouth. “I want you to suck the barrel of this gun like a dick… like the dick you were sucking when you decided to take money and not hold up your end of the bargain.”
Castello groaned and could barely move. His eyes were wide, as she stared down at him, not allowing him to get a word in. “Suck this gun, Castello… suck it real good.”
I thought I had seen it all.
Actually, I was good with never seeing it at all. I never wanted to watch a man suck off a gun in my life. As I stood here, I looked away, as this man was licking the barrel like his life depended on it.
“Yo, this shit wild.” I laughed and walked down the hall.
“Moan… let me hear that you like it, honey,” Kora spoke; her voice was so cold. There was no emotion laced within her words.
No fear, as she held the gun and watched him sucking it like a dick. “Arghh.. ummm.”
“Spit on it, Castello.”
Spit.
Freak ass nigga licked around the barrel, and my stomach turned. His face was fucked up from the lamp that Corleon tossed, the kick that Kora gave him, and lastly from Menace tearing his ass up.
You couldn’t tell me this freaky nigga ain’t never sucked dick before.
“Why the fuck I gotta come in when some wild shit going on?” Meer came through the door, and I laughed.
“Tell me that you love it, Castello,” Kora continued.
His eyes were swollen shut. “I love—”
BLAOW!
“I don’t give a fuck what you love,” she scoffed, disgusted that he was about to repeat what she told his ass to say in the first place.
The love was muffled because the gun was in his mouth before she pulled the trigger. My ears were ringing, meanwhile Menace and Kora were closer, and were unphased. They both looked at his body and then looked at each other.
“Meer, handle your business,” Corleon nodded.
I watched as Menace and Kora did a handshake before she winked at me and headed out the room.
And like that, she was gone.
“Bruster, now make the city fucking dark. I don’t want a single light on.”
Corleon looked up from the computer. “Soon. Found the invitation to the society ball… paying them a visit?”
“I mean, they busted up our party, only fair to return the favor.”
Cappadonna came through the door with his twin and Quasim behind him. “If you need your suits fitted, let me know… I know a guy.”
“I’m surprised this nigga didn’t say he would do it,” I mumbled.
“Nah, I own the shop… under normal circumstances, I would have done it, but you know… pressing issues at hand.”
“Capp, I’m starting to believe that you believe this shit.” Capone chuckled, as he walked over toward his other brother and dapped him up. “What up, Core?”
“Ain’t shit but the sky.”
Capone squeezed his brother’s shoulder while he continued on the computer. “Smooth ass nigga.”
“You good though, Capo?”
“I have my days, but a nigga still living to complain, right?”
Corleon nodded. “I hear you… Long as yo’ ass here to keep complaining.”
Capone chuckled, and squeezed his shoulder again, before sitting on the other end of the desk, watching whatever he was doing.
While Corleon was showing Capone something, Menace was standing over Castello, admiring his work. His brains and blood were all over his white t-shirt and had been on Kora before she left.
Neither of them acted like it mattered.
I understood though. The minute you went there, you didn’t give a fuck about what was going on, or what you had on you. When I hacked buddy’s ass up with that machete, I didn’t give a fuck about the blood or the mess that it made.
While everyone was in their own world, I watched Meer as the nigga gracefully made his way around the room. At one point, his ass was acting like Q-Tip in the movie Prison Song, using his hand as a damn camera lens, picturing the perfect set up for a fire.
When he climbed up on the bed, and stepped over Castello, I turned to his brother, who stood there coolly, like his brother wasn’t a pyromaniac.
“Papa and Mina never thought to get him checked?”
Quasim smirked. “Moms is a little bit of a pyro, too… you see his face.”
“You fucked up.” I started laughing because at the exact moment Quasim said it, this nigga Meer started flicking his lighter in deep thought.
“I requested three additional tickets to the email that sent the invitation. At this point, I’m just fishing because once news hits that Castello is dead, they will change locations.” Core explained.
Menace snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Core. “Niggas wanted to see me. Time to pay ‘em a visit.”
It made sense for Menace to go; they didn’t know what he looked like.
“How we know this nigga never showed them a picture?”
“Got to have a picture to show.” Menace smirked.
“Scott McGregory… big in software on the west coast,” Corleon read from the computer, while the rest of us were confused.
Reminder: Character previously mentioned in the first chapter of Capone III.
“Who the fuck is that?” I broke the silence, confused about who this man was and why he was relevant.
I realized that once you had some money, it was no longer about trap houses and who was on who’s block. This shit involved very important people, and politicians. Everyone was connected in some way, and it became a tangled web.
“Seems like Haven’s List is using him for their cyber security… keeping things secured for them.”
“Then how the fuck are you looking through their statements and shit?” Capone questioned, staring at what his brother was doing.
Corleon smirked. “Come the fuck on… you know who I am.”
I watched as he continued to type a few things.
“Preston Vance,” I read.
This was the same muthafucka that Boobie was supposed to be representing. “Another reason for Zoya to stay away from that case.”
“Kora already said that she would get her disbarred if she continued on with it,” I replied.
“And she will,” Menace spoke, looking up from his work on the bed.
The man was dead as dead could get, and he was mesmerized by it. “Before anything… you need to speak to the families.” Corleon looked at his best friend.
“Not asking permission for shit. I’m handling my business, Bruster.”
“Not about asking permission. It’s respect and we give that around here. We speak with them, then we handle business.”
“Whenever y’all wanna get the fuck out my art instillation... that’s cool with me,” Meer said, as he continued going about the room, ready to light it to flames.
He ain’t have to tell me or the twins twice, because we headed out the room. “You straight, Goon?” Cappadonna questioned.
“I don’t fucking know, Capp.”
He looked over at me as we exited the house. “Well, you know I’m—”
Capone, ignoring his twin, said, “What’s going on, G?”
“Inez told me some shit that has me fucked up… might bug you out, too.” I looked at both my friends. Forty was Cappadonna’s best friend, but he was very important to both the twins.
“Nez told me that Forty tried to kill her, and he’s the Red Hook Killer.” I stared at both of them, and they looked at me. “Don’t fucking look at me like I’m doing that shit.”
“Shit, well, are you? Why the fuck would Forty try and kill Inez?” Capone said, clearly offended that I brought the subject up.
He was asking questions that I think we all needed the answers to. Forty was always in the cut and never revealed himself, but he was an Inferno God. Inez knew Forty because there were a few times that he had to step in when I was locked up.
Forty was solid and even looked out for my family when he knew I was worried about Khaos handling everything alone, so he always stepped in to make sure the family was straight.
Even when Ramelle was killed, it was Forty that was there.
Nigga never counted favors, ever. It was who he was, as solid as they came.
So, I was fucked up with what Inez was telling me.
He was the reason I kept my head in there. After hearing how they murdered a child with no remorse, I was ready to end everything behind those prison walls.
“Something happened, Capo. I don’t know what… but I know some shit happened because she was shaken up.”
Cappadonna was silent as he leaned on the truck, taking in everything I had said.
“What else is she saying happened?” he finally spoke.
“Won’t talk about the shit. She paranoid and that’s beyond the drugs. I don’t know what happened to her, but she had bruises on her like someone was trying to get at her.”
Capone leaned on the truck and took a deep sigh. “How the fuck did we end up here?”
“Being black and making a shit ton of money,” Cappadonna whistled, then he and his twin echoed the same motions without even knowing. Both were staring out into thin air turning their head simultaneously.
It was funny because we always forgot that they were twins. Shared the same womb and spent their entire life together before being separated. Not to mention, they both had their own personality, so we saw them as their own person. It was moments like this that reminded us that they were twins.
The Delgato twins.
“Where’s Inez now?”
“Corleon has her at this crib for now.”
“Had,” Corleon replied, leaving the house with a laptop in his hand. “Security caught her going through the woods in the back of the house. She gone.”
“What the fuck, Inez,” I whispered as I slid my hand down my face and sighed. What the fuck was she doing?
Who was going to protect her stupid ass?
