Goon #4
The procession had just left the cemetery. We knew who was in which cars and waited for them to leave. Castello had already been handled, so there was no need to bust open his casket and fuck his ass up again.
There was one Government official that Menace wanted, and he knew he could only get him now.
“Heard you,” Menace replied.
Before I could fully end the call, I could hear the engines getting closer. Quasim was leading, Meer on his right with Capri on her bike behind him. Queen was on Capri’s bike with her. Papa was on King’s left with Mina on his bike.
The shit was in slow motion as the Infernos passed me, then took off down Nassau highway. Cappadonna saluted as he and Capone were side by side. He was in his Durango with Des in the passenger seat. Capone was in his Challenger.
Aimee switched lanes to get around them in a Corvette with Capella in the driver’s seat. Three more corvettes pulled behind her.
Cruzaris.
The lime green stiletto nails came out the window and directed Aimee. She followed Zuri’s lead, as Zuri whipped around them.
Just as I was about to take off on my bike, a Maserati sped past with a Porsche and a Ferrari behind it.
Vanducci-Cromwell’s.
Even with the tints dark, I could already tell which car Star Cromwell was in. She maneuvered that car like it was a toy, with ease and precision. Just when you thought the shit was gonna turn out bad, she finessed it like she had been born doing this.
I was able to take off behind them and would remain behind them until Menace passed me. I promised Boobie, and I meant every word I promised. Her brother was boarding that jet and heading to his family – alive. Another Challenger pulled up on the side of me, as the window rolled down.
“Stop slacking fuck nigga,” Staten Davis laughed, as Ghost sat in the passenger seat loading his gun.
“Fuck up… let me know if you can’t handle shit. I know it’s been a minute for yo’ old ass.” I laughed, as he flipped his middle finger while rolling the window back up.
Before I could even question where Menace was, I felt the vibration behind me. Two Rezvanis sandwiched me in.
The windows didn’t roll down since it was an armored tank. I drove up some and saw Duke behind the wheel, and Corleon was behind the wheel of the second one.
Where the fuck was Menace?
Corleon pointed to the left, and on the shoulder, I peeped two bikes and knew it was Don and Menace. I headed down to fall in line with them.
The entire tri-state was without power. Traffic was slim today, which helped with catching up to the procession. Everything was fucked up when it came to the blackout. The news had a damn countdown on how long the city had been without power.
Flights were grounded until the situation was figured out. Corleon mentioned that if we were going to make a move, it needed to be now. It was becoming harder for him and Aimee to hold them off.
It was crazy how the government would lock a nigga up within seconds if he hacked some shit. But, because they needed something, they hired the same people they would have imprisoned.
Shit, it was the same with weed. All those men and women serving time in prison for drug charges, and now there were dispensaries all over the damn city. You couldn’t walk anywhere in New York without smelling someone blowing it down.
Core said they had hired the best hackers, some that he knew. He said they knew it was him, but it was code to keep your mouth silenced. He respected them getting their money, while trying to outsmart him.
There was a reason he was the best.
Most homes were using generators, but that only worked for so long. Ollie’s big ass had the nerve to have a generator going in his crib.
We sped through the light traffic, and around everyone. Menace was focused, and as we got closer to the three cops in the back of the procession, I watched his hand extend with a Tec-9, and he released a stream of bullets into the cop’s back.
Don followed up, catching the second cop before he could react. I jumped in and did the third cop in. Their bodies spread across the highway, and their bikes skidded, with sparks coming from them.
When the rest of the procession saw what happened, the cars started to go haywire and were no longer in that single file. Cars were colliding with each other while trying to get away from what was going on. Menace and Don swerved in and out of the chaos gunning for a particular truck.
I watched Capri slow down, with Aimee driving beside her doing the same. Blair’s arm extended with the gun in her hand.

“Bang that shit, Queen!” I yelled, as I sped past them, turning quickly and watching her try to steady her shaking arm. She pulled the trigger, not letting that red nail off that trigger until it was emptied.
King sped past, saluting his Queen, while Meer signaled to her, letting her know he was proud.
Aimee beeped her horn and pumped her fist out the window at Blair as Capri sped forward to catch up with the rest of them.
Right behind her were Capone and Cappadonna.
Des was letting his shit go out the window.
Cappadonna came up on the divider, as one of the cars rammed into the back of Capone’s car, causing him to spin out of control.
“Fuck they come from?” I muttered to myself as a blacked-out Impala came over towards where Capone was.
