Chapter 11

FORREST WAS trying to watch the film, but it became increasingly clear that Conrad was interested in something else.

At first he slipped his hand under Forrest’s shirt, resting it on his belly.

But then it shifted upward and over to one of his pecs.

Forrest squirmed in his seat, trying to pay attention to what was on the screen.

But then Conrad leaned closer, his amazing scent intensifying as he kissed the side of his neck and tugged down his collar to kiss the top of his shoulder.

“You know, you really are a distraction,” Forrest said softly.

Conrad pulled away, but only for a second. Then he tugged Forrest’s shirt until it was up under his arms. “Maybe I’m trying to be. After all, we know what happens in the movie, but things right here… well, they could have many different endings.”

“They could?” Forrest asked, teasing a little, loving the way Conrad’s mind worked. “How so?”

“Well….” Conrad stilled for a moment, pretending to think. “Let’s see, we could go on a tasting trip, see if parts of you taste different from others.” He licked up the center of Forrest’s belly. “See, yummy, earthy with maybe a hint of chocolate. I love chocolate.”

He swiped his tongue over a nipple and Forrest rolled his eyes and groaned. “I see.”

“Yeah, you taste the same there.” His tongue played until it had pebbled Forrest’s nipple and raised the temperature between them.

Forrest cupped Conrad’s cheek in his hands. “You know, it’s not nice to tease.”

“Please,” Conrad told him. “I never tease. I may play a little, but I never tease. If I were that kind of guy, I’d get up now and tell you that I was tired and had a headache. But I’d never do that, because you give me energy and make me want things that scare me.”

“Why are you scared?” Forrest asked and wondered if it was because of how he looked. The expression on Conrad’s face that first time they met in the grocery store flashed through his mind.

“Because of how you make me feel. It’s like you’re everything I could want, and what if I do something to mess it up?

Or what if you decide that I’m not worth it and you just walk away?

” He rested his cheek against Forrest’s bare skin.

“Relationships are scary sometimes, especially at the beginning, Wonderful, exciting, thrilling… and yeah, frightening too.”

“Well, you don’t have anything to be scared of,” Forrest said. “At least not from me.” He brushed his fingers through Conrad’s hair.

Conrad lifted his gaze, and Forrest used his fingertips to guide Conrad closer.

When they kissed, it was electric as they came together—heat, attraction, and passion, all blended into one.

Conrad managed to get Forrest’s shirt off, his hands exploring, adding more warmth.

He closed his eyes, kissing Conrad harder as the passion between them built.

Forrest had never really thought of himself as having a type of guy.

He always thought he was more open-minded, but maybe he did, because everything about the systems accountant turned him on.

He was trim and smaller, but full of energy and excitement.

Forrest pulled off Conrad’s shirt, tossing it aside before hugging him close, chest to chest.

“Forrest….”

“Yeah?” he managed to say.

“Let’s go to the bedroom.” Conrad pulled away and turned off the television. Then he tugged Forrest to his feet, turned, and drew him upstairs, not that Forrest could have done a thing to stop him. It was like he was under Conrad’s spell, and he had no intention of breaking out of it.

Conrad closed the door behind them and pushed Forrest down on the bed before climbing on, knees spread on either side of him. Forrest ran his hands up Conrad’s back as he drew him closer. Their kissing resumed as though there hadn’t been an interruption.

Forrest somehow managed to open Conrad’s belt and pants before sliding his hands down his back and under his pants, cupping his firm, smooth butt in his hands.

That was heaven, especially when Conrad moaned into their kiss.

He wanted him, and it took some maneuvering for both of them, but they managed to get the rest of Conrad’s clothes off.

Damn, he was fine, with his long arms and legs, and the way his skin gleamed in the light that shone through the window.

He was beautiful, and Forrest reveled in the sight of him.

There was something about this man that took his breath away, and Forrest wanted it to stay stolen. He wanted to feel this way forever.

“Forrest….”

“Yeah, say my name again. Just that way.” He could hear it a million times on Conrad’s lips and still want it said again, especially in that breathy tone that said so much.

Conrad drew closer. “Forrest,” he whispered into his ear. “I want you, Forrest.” He sucked on Forrest’s ear, and he rolled his eyes. “You make me feel like I can have anything.”

“Because you can. All you have to do is tell me what you want, and you can have it.”

Conrad swallowed and nimble fingers opened Forrest’s belt and pulled it off.

Then Conrad opened the button on his jeans, and Forrest sighed at being free.

Conrad climbed off the bed and pulled away Forrest’s pants, holding them as though they were a prize.

“You know these things are huge.” His eyes gleamed with mischief.

“But then everything about you is appropriately sized.”

“Is that good?” Forrest asked. He’d had a partner some years ago who told him that he was too big and was going to hurt him. Those words had stuck with him for a long time. Hell, even now he worried that he might cause Conrad pain.

“Yeah,” Conrad said rolling his eyes. “I never thought about it before, but I guess I like my guys big. I mean, you don’t act big, if you know what I mean.”

Forrest shrugged. He really didn’t know what Conrad meant.

“You don’t throw your weight around.” Conrad put a hand on his chest and pressed him back down on the bed.

Forrest went where Conrad wanted, especially when he straddled him again and closed his fingers around their dicks.

“Big guys always scared me. In high school they’d push around guys who were smaller than them.

You know the type.” He leaned closer. “But that’s not you. ”

“No,” Forrest whispered as Conrad stroked both of them together. “Why hurt people?”

“Exactly,” Conrad told him. “And you’re hot because of it.” He released them and shifted upward, rolling his hips, driving Forrest out of his mind.

Damn, Conrad was sexy as hell, and Forrest reached out to draw him closer, but Conrad shook his head and took Forrest’s wrists, pinning them back on the bed.

“Just let me. You always put me first, and now it’s my turn.

” His voice was filled with heat and rough with desire.

Forrest loved that and lay back as Conrad held him tightly.

Then he slid downward and took Forrest between his lips.

And holy hell if that wasn’t the sexist things he had ever seen.

The sensation was amazing, but watching Conrad suck him was almost more than he could take.

He gripped the bedding and lay back on the pillow.

This was heaven, and he couldn’t help but flex his hips, and damned if Conrad didn’t just go with it.

The last thing he wanted was to hurt him, but Conrad seemed to add more energy and drove Forrest more than a little crazy.

He whimpered and groaned, his legs shaking with sheer excitement and passion that he tried to keep under control.

He never wanted this to end, but Conrad seemed to know all the buttons to push, and Forrest couldn’t hold out much longer.

“Conrad,” he groaned as pressure built deep inside him. He tried to hold back as long as he could, but white heat filled him and his release wasn’t to be denied. He careened into it, breath heaving, as Conrad took him over the edge in a release that left lights shining behind his eyes.

Forrest lay still as Conrad pulled back and climbed on top of him. Forrest held him as he caught his breath. “Just give me a minute… or ten and….”

“Hey. Take your time. I’m not going anywhere.” Conrad held him in return, and they lay together until Forrest rolled them on the bed, took Conrad in his arms, and used his lips and hands to coax a powerful release from Conrad that had him screaming his passion loudly enough to wake the neighbors.

FORREST DIDN’T sleep well. He kept waking and wondering where he was. It hadn’t happened the last time he was there, but this time he felt disoriented and out of sorts. Conrad slept next to him and didn’t seem disturbed by the way he tossed and turned. At least he hadn’t thought so.

“What’s wrong?” Conrad asked after rolling over. He pushed the covers away and slipped out of the bed. “God, it’s warm in here,” he said.

“Maybe that’s it.”

Conrad slipped back under the covers. “I don’t usually touch the thermostat, but it had been turned up. It’s possible that Mom did and I didn’t notice. Do you want anything? I have some snacks, or we can get something to drink.”

“Sure, I guess.” It was clear he wasn’t going to sleep right away.

Conrad got out of bed and pulled on a robe, and Forrest pulled on his boxers and shirt before following him out to the kitchen. “I have some cold pizza from yesterday.”

“Perfect.” They both sat at the table with a beer and a slice of cold pizza. “I don’t know why, but sometimes I just can’t turn things off, and I have trouble sleeping.”

“I think that’s pretty universal.” Conrad munched on his slice, his head already drooping.

Forrest, meanwhile, was wide awake. He ate his pizza and drank the beer, hoping that might help to settle him down.

Once they were done, he took care of the pizza box and threw the bottles in the recycling bin before leading Conrad back to bed.
