Chapter 11 #2
“What?” I chuckle as he pulls me. He doesn’t answer.
The room starts to spin as he leads me up the stairs.
I stumble a few times, but Chase keeps me steady as he urges me along.
“Where’re we goin’?” I slur. We head into a dimly lit bedroom, and I frown as I look around the room.
“There’s no one here.” I snicker as I turn to face him, still holding my drink.
“Nope, just you and me,” he says as he closes the door and stalks toward me. I squeak, blinking and smiling like a fool as he wraps his arms around my waist. He takes my cup and sets it on the nightstand next to the bed.
“You’re hot,” I snort. Freakin’ snort! How unattractive is that? The room tilts, and I lean into him for more support, pressing my body to his.
“I think your pretty sexy, too,” he says.
Well, guess the snort wasn’t such a turn-off then.
I open my mouth to respond just as he leans in and kisses me, his mouth claiming mine in a hot demanding kiss.
What’s left of my functioning brain struggles to kick in.
I try to pull away, but my arms feel heavy and weak.
He grips the back of my neck, holding me to him as the kiss turns harder, more desperate.
My heart pounds. I start to panic as I try to push him away, but my body just won’t cooperate.
“Chase,” I whisper, my tongue feeling thick.
His hand moves to my breast, squeezing and tugging at the front of my costume.
“Chase!” I gasp. With a hard yank, my corset top rips, and my left breast spills into his hand.
He grips it, squeezing hard. I manage to turn my head, but his mouth moves down my neck, sucking and licking before taking my nipple into his mouth.
I jolt from the sharp tug, then the warm flick of his tongue against my tender flesh.
Jesus Christ. What is he doing? I want to fight, to push him away, but I’m so weak I can hardly keep my eyes open.
I want to tell him to stop, but my mouth feels numb.
I can barely form any words. I feel myself going limp in his arms, unable to hold myself up anymore.
He pushes me down on the bed and climbs on top of me, pulling my right leg up around him as he moves between my legs.
I can feel his erection pushing against me, and a tear slips from my eye because I can’t do anything to stop him.
“Chase,” I manage to mumble. Although it sounds more like Shase.
“Shhh,” he whispers as his hand slides to my waist. “Just enjoy it.”
No, this can’t be happening. My head is screaming, stop!
But my mouth only forms the word, “No,” and it comes out in a breathy whisper.
He shoves his tongue back into my mouth as he starts to pull at my shorts.
Move, Leah! my mind screams, but I can’t.
More tears slip from my eyes as I try with the last of my strength to stop what’s about to happen.
“Shase, pwease,” I beg.
“What the fuck!”
Suddenly, Chase is gone. A loud bang shakes the room, and Aaden’s angry voice washes over me, but it sounds like I’m under water. I force my eyes open, the room appearing in a heavy fog.
“Jesus, Aaden, what the hell’s wrong with you?” Chase snaps as he cups the back of his head.
“What’s wrong with me?” Aaden growls. “What did you do to her?”
Chase glares at him. “Dude, you’re cock blocking,” he snarls.
Aaden lowers his head as he moves toward Chase, his hands balled into tight fists as his body trembles with anger. “What the fuck did you just say?”
Tyler rushes into the room and steps between them. “Whoa,” he says, putting his hands up and looking back and forth at them. “What happened?”
Noah and Madison rush in behind him. “Oh my god,” Madison gasps as she rushes to my side, her eyes wide, face pale. She looks terrified. “Leah? What the hell is going on?” I groan as she rolls me to my side, covering me with her own body.
Aaden’s voice roars, “I should rip your fucking head off, you son of a bitch.”
“Fuck, Aaden, stop. Not here,” Noah says.
Madison sniffs, tears running down her cheeks as she struggles to cover me with a blanket and help me sit up. I blink up at her, wanting to help, but I’m still too weak. I slump forward, about to faceplant onto the floor.
“Aaden!” Madison cries as she clutches at my falling body.
Aaden catches me as I slip from the bed, scoops me up in his arms, and carries me past the whispering spectators lingering in the hallway.
My body jolts as he stomps down the stairs and out the front door.
As soon as the cold air hits my face, my stomach rolls.
“I’m gonna be sick,” I groan. Stopping quickly, Aaden turns and takes me to the side of the yard, out of sight of prying eyes.
As soon as he sets me on my feet, I drop to my knees and puke.
Aaden bends down and pulls my hair back as I empty my stomach.
I can’t believe I’m doing this in front of him.
Once my gut stops heaving, I fall against him, my body going limp again, and he quickly scoops me back up, tucking me into his chest.
“I’ve got you, baby girl,” he whispers against my ear as he carries me to his car.
“I have her keys. I’ll drive her car home,” Madison tells him. I didn’t even know she had followed us out.
“I’ll drive you,” Noah says.
“I’m taking her back to my place,” Aaden announces as he places me in his car and shuts the door.
My head lolls to the side, and I watch as he motions for Noah to follow him.
They walk a few steps away and start talking.
I struggle to lift my head, but it’s no use.
I’m so freaking tired. I close my eyes, hoping to clear some of the fog, but the only thing I see is Chase on top of me. Then Aaden is there.
Protecting me.
Saving me.
Loving me.
