Sierra

Chapter twenty-four

“Baby, are you sure you want to work tonight? Why not take Rico up on his offer?” Cyrus steps up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his head on my shoulder, kissing the top of my head softly.

Each of the guys messaged me last night. It went on and on until finally, after sending Sam’s video message back, I turned off my phone. I couldn’t take it anymore and I felt my resolve slowly cracking, well at least for one or two of them.

I know Cyrus is okay with sharing me, and I like them. I just feel so overwhelmed with everything. My brain keeps second guessing things and building up scenarios where it will all come back to kick me in the ass.

“I’m going, Cyrus. I need to work,” I remind him as I finish putting the toothpaste on my toothbrush.

“Still don’t like the thought of all those men looking at you.”

My head whips around as I furrow my brows. “And what makes them looking at me now any different than it was before?” He spins me around so fast, I drop my toothbrush into the sink and he pulls me tightly against his body. My nipples instantly pebble.

“Because you weren’t my girlfriend then. Besides, what makes you think it didn’t bother me? I hated it. The way they leered at you like you were a piece of meat.”

“Aww, is my man jealous?” I coo as I wrap my arms around his neck.

His hands press firmly against my back and my nipples brush against the fabric of my bra, sending little electric sparks shooting through my body.

“Damn right I am.” He crushes his lips against mine, his tongue slipping between them, caressing mine. I moan softly, urging him to kiss me deeper.

Maybe I should just stay home and crawl back into bed with Cyrus. It’s how we spent yesterday. A round of morning sex and promises of more were very persuasive and is the reason I stayed home from school.

We used the whole fucking box of condoms! Now we need more.

Cyrus breaks our kiss, but his lips stay on mine as we catch our breath. We are both panting, and judging from the hardness poking into my belly, he’s just as ready as I am for another round.

“We could—”

“No, we can’t. There are no more condoms. We used the last one this morning. Now let’s get ready for work,” I remind him. He pulls away, sighing deeply.

“Fine,” he huffs, stomping his foot like a kid because he can’t get the ice cream cone he wants.

“But when we’re done at the club tonight, we are stopping on the way home to get some more.” I wink as I bite my bottom lip between my teeth.

“That’s a deal I can get behind.”

Laughing, I turn back around, picking up the discarded toothbrush. I’ve just lifted it to my lips when a hand lands across my ass, the pop bouncing off the bathroom walls. The sting shoots through me and I know I will have a red handprint there later.

“What the hell?” I cry as I whip around to face him. He’s wearing a sly grin from ear to ear and gripping his cock through his gray sweatpants, adjusting it.

The heat in his eyes is proof of just how much he liked it. This man is going to be the death of me. Maybe we can grab some on the way and have a quickie at the strip club.

He leaves me alone in the bathroom to finish getting ready. I figure I’ll do most of my makeup here, so all I have to do is get dressed when I get there. Thankfully, most of the bruises have faded, and the others I’ll cover with foundation.

I invested in the good stuff that’s waterproof not long after I started, so I wouldn’t sweat it off while Sarah used me as a punching bag. No way in hell did I want people asking questions.

I finish up, and grab the extra bottle of coverup I have here, just in case someone has used the one I keep at the club. I step back into the bedroom and find Cyrus with his back to me, his head bent forward, looking at whatever is in his hands. I’m guessing it’s his phone.

I take a moment to look at him. He’s muscular, evident through his clothes.

And today he’s blessing the world with a perfect view of his tight ass in his practically painted on blue jeans paired with the club shirt.

Not hard to pick it out since there’s a girl with her tits hanging out on a stripper pole on the back of it.

“What are you doing?” I ask softly, after clearing my throat.

“One of the guys from my dorm wanted to know a couple of things and if I wanted to go to a party this week.” He slides the phone into his back pocket and avoids looking me in the eye.

“Oh, okay. You told him you were going, right?” There’s something he’s not telling me.

While I wait for him to answer, I move over to my dresser.

Thankfully, my bag is already sitting on top of it and I check it, making sure my wig is in there.

Once I’m sure it has everything I need, including the coverup for my bruises, I zip it up. I just need my baseball cap now.

I look around the room, not seeing it, then drop to my knees and check under the bed. Man, I wish I hadn’t done that. It’s the lost world of socks and dust bunnies under there. Now I know what I’m doing tomorrow. I’m sure Sam’s looks just as bad.

“Ahh, there it is!” I cry out in triumph as I shimmy my body underneath the frame, toward the headboard, and grip the brim of the hat with the tips of my fingers.

I skillfully scoot my way back out from under the bed, and stand up, only to find Cyrus staring at me with lust in his eyes, and an erection in his pants.

“You should add that to your act. It’s every married man’s wet dream.”

“Shut up.” I give him a playful swat on his chest, but his reflexes are quick and he catches hold of my wrist. Pulling me close to him, he kisses me like a man starving.

“I can’t wait to get you home and in our bed.

Before you say anything, it's ours from now on. It became ours the moment I slipped my cock inside of you.”

“O…o...okay.” I stutter, squeezing my thighs together to relieve some of the pressure building.

“Got everything you need?”

“Yeah. Hat, wig, cover up and bag. I’m good. Now how about telling me who else was on the phone? No secrets. Remember?” I remind him.

His eyes drop to the floor, and he pulls a deep breath in, holding it for a moment before slowly exhaling.

Shit, it must be bad!

He moves over to the bed and sits down on the edge, clasping his hands together, still not looking at me.

My stomach churns with worry and my pulse rises, as a mixture of emotions—anxiety, nervousness, fear, and apprehension—all take a turn running rampant through my body.

I walk slowly toward him, taking tiny steps until I’m standing in front of him. I drop down on my knees, placing my hands on his knees.

The movement has him raising his head, staring intently at me with glazed onyx eyes.

“Who was it? Is there someone else?” He’s been with me all this time, so I know it’s not likely, but there’s always a chance I’m wrong.

God, I hope I’m not!

His eyes go wide, and I swear his skin goes pale.

“No. Fuck, please don’t think that. You are and will be the only one for me.

It’s just. Shit. Some guys on my floor wanted to know if I was at the club tonight, and if I was, they were going to come and hang out,” he finally blurts, running his hand down his face.

Why is he upset about that?

“Okay, what’s wrong? Haven’t they come before?” I’m not getting why he is so apprehensive about it now.

“Because you’re my girl now. I hated it before, and you were just someone I worked with and crushed over. Now it’s different.”

The corners of my mouth turn up, and my heart races. Cyrus Donaldson is indeed the mythical unicorn.

“I love you, Cyrus. I’m not sure what I did to deserve you, but I’m so thankful you are in my life.

Just remember I wear a wig and a mask. When I’m on that stage, I’m Lilac, not Sierra.

Just a character in a show and nothing more.

Lilac isn’t your girlfriend, Sierra is. So they’re not seeing your girlfriend.

” I lean forward so I’m closer to him, rising up on my knees and wrapping my arms around his waist, hugging him tightly.

“I’ve waited since the day you started here to hear you say those words; I love you.

I get what you’re saying, baby, and I understand it completely.

But Lilac is a part of you, and I love her too, because you’re her and she’s you.

I can’t seem to push the jealousy down like I used to.

But I need to get my head on straight if I’m going to do body guard duties tonight. ”

“How true you are. Let’s get going. I need to check in with Rico and confirm this client is coming to the club tonight and pick out one of my outfits to wear for him,” I tell him and grab his hands. He pulls, helping me stand.

He gets up after me and walks to the dresser, picking up my bag and slipping it over his shoulder.

“What about the other one? The guy who wants the private party somewhere other than the club. Is that still on?”

“Not sure. Rico hasn’t given me confirmation on him. My guess is he’s ironing out the terms with the location. I need the money, so I told him I could take you or him with me for safety.”

He stops dead in his tracks and the lines on his face become hard as he looks at me with fire in his eyes. “Fucking right, you’re taking one of us, but I’ll be talking to Rico as well. There’s no reason for you to go anywhere when they can come right to the club like everyone else.”

I just shake my head. I know he’s right, but damn for thinking he can tell me what I can and can’t do.

But… him taking charge was hot as fuck. My pussy is clenching with need and I’ve never wanted a condom more than I do right now.

This is going to officially be the longest night in history.
