Chapter 66

sixty-six

It only takes about thirty minutes for Brex to fly us in his helicopter to Portland. A black SUV is parked and waiting for us on the tarmac when we land.

Logan grabs our bags and loads them in the back while Brex jogs over to the attendant and makes arrangements to house Bea for the weekend.

The side of Logan’s mouth tips up and he gives me a wink as he holds the door open.

“After you, Angel.”

My heart trips as he leans in to brush his lips against my cheek as I climb inside. Then, to my surprise, he grabs the seatbelt, pulls it across my lap and buckles me in before stepping back and closing the door.

Rounding the front of the SUV, he slides into the driver’s seat, adjusting the mirror as Brex climbs into the back.

“Ready for the best weekend of your life, Rey?” Brex asks as he leans forward between the seats, lopsided grin in full effect.

Logan snorts. The engine rumbles to life, and we leave the airfield behind, merging into Portland traffic.

When I twist around in my seat, Brex’s face so close, I can see the flecks of gold in his brown eyes. “Any time is the best as long as I’m with both of you.”

Something softens in his expression before he lifts his hand and curls it around the back of my neck. He pulls me to him, mouth crashing against mine.

The kiss is deep and hungry, his tongue sweeping past my lips as I moan into his mouth, one hand gripping his wrist.

“Okay. That’s enough,” Logan’s strained voice cuts through the haze.

Blushing, I face forward again, but not before I catch him adjusting himself, shifting in his seat.

“I can’t drive with you two doing that. It gets me hard,” he mutters, jaw tight as he flips the turn signal and changes lanes.

Brex chuckles behind me. “Couldn’t help myself.”

“What else is new?” Logan grumble-sighs with a smirk.

I press my thighs together in an attempt to ease the throbbing between my legs.

Portland is alive with people spilling out of coffee shops and restaurants, couples strolling holding hands, with the occasional food cart sending plumes of smoke into the air.

Twenty minutes later, Logan turns into a circular drive and pulls up to the valet.

My breath catches in my throat. I know this place.

Modern glass facade, sleek black awning, and a doorman in his dark blue uniform.

Hotel Indigo.

The same hotel where Logan and I spent a weekend together a year ago. A weekend that changed everything.

My chest tightens as memories come rushing back—Logan pressing me against the wall of the elevator, mouth hot on my neck.

The way he looked at me across the breakfast table before he fucked me on top of it.

How he held me in the aftermath, arms like steel bands around my waist, like he never wanted to let me go.

“Logan...”

Putting the car in park, he turns to look at me, expression soft. “Figured we’d make some new memories. If that’s okay.”

“I love it,” I whisper, my heart swelling with emotion.

Brex opens his door and hops out. “Let’s get checked in. We’ve got a surprise for you.”

The doorman greets us with a smile, collecting our bags as we make our way inside and over to the bank of elevators.

“Logan booked the same suite from last time,” Brex says, pulling out his phone as we step inside.

Angling his body toward mine, Logan presses the button, eyes lingering on me, dark with promise.

When the elevator dings, we step out and make our way down the hall.

“Here we are,” Logan says.

He slides the key card, light flashing green, but just as he’s about to push inside, the one across the hall swings open.

“Surprise!”

I spin around to find Ari standing in the doorway, grinning from ear to ear.

“Ari!?” I rush across the hall, pulling her into a hug. “What are you doing here?”

“Logan called me,” she says, squeezing me tight. “Thought you might want some girl time to get ready for the fight tonight.”

I glance over my shoulder at Logan, who’s watching us with a soft smile.

“You set this up?” I ask, my voice catching.

He shrugs, but the look in his eyes tells me everything I need to know. “Figured you might appreciate having your best friend close.”

“See?” Brex slings an arm around Logan’s shoulders. “Told you he was a big softie underneath all the grump.”

“Shut up,” Logan mutters, small smile quirking his lips as he shoves him away.

“I texted Ari in the elevator so she would know we were on our way up,” Brex grins. “You two have fun getting ready, and we’ll get everything situated in our room.”

“But… my clothes…”

“I brought you an outfit,” Ari says, pulling me toward her room. “And I’ve got champagne on ice. Figured we could order room service and do our hair and makeup together, like old times.”

My heart feels like it’s going to burst. The thoughtfulness of Logan, not only bringing me back to where we began, but making sure I had Ari here too, is almost too much for me to take.

“We’ll meet you out here at six,” Logan says.

“Come on!” Ari crows, tugging my hand. “There’s work to do and fun to be had.”

Nervous hands skim over the dress Ari brought for me to wear to Fight Night. The fabric shimmers, catching the light and throwing it back in tiny explosions of silver. Strapless, its deep sapphire blue fades into silver sequins along the hem, which barely grazes the middle of my thighs.

“You look so fucking hot,” Ari says, stepping back to admire her handiwork.

I turn in front of the full-length mirror.

The silver heels she brought add another four inches to my height, which should put me right at eye level with Logan and Brex.

My hair is down, falling in loose waves past my shoulders, and Ari did this smoky thing with my eyes that make them pop like I’m some kind of villainess from a vampire movie.

“Sure it’s not too much?” I ask, smoothing my hands over my hips.

“What? Hell no. Girl, you’re about to walk into a packed stadium with two of the hottest men I have ever seen, and they’re both yours. There is no such thing as too much.”

A knock at the door makes my head jerk up.

“That’s them.” Ari grabs both our clutches off the bed and shoves mine into my hands. “Will you answer the door while I get my coat?”

Why am I so freaking nervous? Both of my men have not only seen me naked, but on my knees. Been inside me.

Ari is halfway to the closet when she catches my hesitation. “Hey. This is your moment. Go get ’em, tiger.”

Rolling my eyes, I take a deep breath and cross the room.

When I open the door, Logan and Brex are standing out in the hall. The second they see me, their mouths drop open.

Both are wearing bespoke black tuxedos, and look good enough to eat.

Sans ties, their top two buttons are undone, exposing the hollows of their throats and just enough skin to make my mouth water.

Logan’s dark hair is combed away from his face, and Brex has his pushed to one side, a rogue dark blond piece falling across his forehead.

“Jesus Christ,” he breathes.

Logan doesn’t say a word. He just stares. Emerald eyes travel down my body with agonizing slowness and back up again. When his gaze finally meets mine, feral heat blazes, making my knees go weak.

“Every man in the arena is gonna pop a woody when they see you,” Logan growls.

“Not if I kill them first,” Brex grumbles, adjusting his sleeves.

Ari bustles out of her room and shuts the door. “Okay. I just got a text saying the limo is waiting out front…”

The look on her face when she sees my boys makes me laugh.

“Holy hell, Rey,” she huffs, shaking her head. “I don’t know how you do it, but I gotta give you props. Those are some fine ass looking specimens you’ve got there.”

“My eyes are up here,” Brex snarks.

With a giggle, I hook my arm through hers and lead us down the hall.

Sneaking a quick glance over my shoulder, I catch both men staring at my ass, and I clear my throat.

Each gifts me with a grin.

Downstairs, we all pile into the limo. The driver opens the door, and Brex slides in first, and I follow, settling into the plush leather seat beside him. Logan climbs in and takes the empty spot next to me.

Ari sits across from us with a knowing smirk. “You three look so good together.”

Heat floods my veins as both men lay a possessive hand on one of my thighs.

Logan’s palm is warm as his thumb traces lazy circles on my skin as Brex squeezes. “Hell yeah, we do,” he grins. “Mostly because of her.”

Reaching into the mini-fridge, Ari takes out a bottle of champagne. “Let’s get this party started.”
