Epilogue
Once Hanyang’s head healed, he began keeping distance from me.
Knowing his past behavior, I started pursuing him properly.
I endured that way for a year.
Later I could no longer stand it. In the middle of the night I sneaked into Hanyang’s room and touched his abs.
Hanyang had been eating well. He had put on some muscle and grown a little taller. The feel of him was many times better than before.
After touching him a few times, my hands grew bolder.
Hanyang woke up. He caught my wrist, his tired face showing faint confusion.
I lied without blushing. “I heard you calling me.”
Hanyang: “?”
He had already reached the limit of his patience. That stimulus pushed him over the edge.
Afterward my waist ached so badly I could not even crawl off him.
“Hanyang, let me tell you a story. I’m actually reborn. In my last life I was your lover. You were tall and strong then, and you forced yourself on me all the time. It scared me half to death.”
“I don’t believe it.”
I grinned. “Good, because I made it up.”
Hanyang looked speechless, yet after a moment he asked, “Then what really happened?”
“You actually believed that?”
“Mm.”
I rolled over, lay on top of him, and laced our fingers together.
“Actually I pursued you for a long time before you opened your heart. Just when I thought we could both be happy, you got stabbed by that bastard. Then you left me alone and depressed. Later I killed myself and woke up when you were eighteen. I swore I would grab you tight and take back everything that belonged to me!”
Hanyang lowered his eyes and stayed silent.
Sensing his strange mood, I waved a hand. “I’m joking. There’s no rebirth.”
Hanyang was quiet for a long time before he said hoarsely, “You must have been very sad back then.”
My eyes turned red at once.
Hanyang reached out as if using all his strength and pulled me tightly into his arms.
He said he would never leave me alone again.
