Chapter 13

Chapter Thirteen

What went from a particularly rainy, uneventful rest of spring became a warm late June day. After a long week of work for the both of them, Helena came bouncing through his door, always left unlocked for her when it was time for her to get off work.

Grayson made a mental note to have her key made, but with no demands attached to it. As much as he would love to wake up next to his Little every single day and have her come home to him, he would force himself to reel it in. The key would be purely to let herself in if he was in the middle of an appointment with a client.

Once she flopped down on the couch, she was panting and sweaty.

“Finally.” She scrubbed her face with her hands.

“Bad day, baby?”

Grayson had a chilled bottle of water ready for her, which she readily chugged.

“Four houses. The last one was a move-in clean.” She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand.

“Move in?”

“Mhm.” She hummed while she drank more water. “A new apartment that needed to be ready for some renters next week. Just a more thorough clean.”

She held up a black tipped finger as she drank more, until the bottle crinkled in emptiness.

“And then I walked outside afterward, and my goddamn tire was flat!”

Grayson froze, she hadn’t texted him or called. He would have happily called a service for her.

“Helena, you should have called me. It’s over ninety degrees today, how long were you out there?” He quickly rushed to the fridge and procured her an ice pack for the back of her neck and more water.

She snatched the bottle, almost downing that one as well

“Baby, easy. Did you not drink today?” Grayson frowned, taking it from her.

“I did! But I ran out and didn’t have time to grab any more from the convenience store! And it took me a bit longer to do the tire, but I can do it! I was just tired.” Helena exhaled in relief as she pressed the ice to her heated skin

Grayson tutted, guilt suddenly overwhelming him. He couldn’t be there for her when she needed it. She didn’t call him either.

“Baby, I’m sorry. I wish I could have helped you.”

“No! I can do things on my own, you know. I’m not a baby!” She crossed her arms stubbornly. “I’m taking the car to the shop in the morning. I need an oil change anyway. I can do that by myself too.” She shrugged, visibly annoyed.

“Helena, watch your tone.”

She bit her lip, down casting her eyes in submission.

“Sorry,” she mumbled.

Grayson braced his hands on her thighs, leaning in close.

“Do I need to take you across my knee again for that, or can you talk to Daddy nicely?”

He tilted her chin up, running his thumb across her bottom lip. She made a move to bite, but he took hold of her chin again in a silent warning.

“I’ll be good,” she whispered, pressing her thighs together. The ice began to melt against her skin, running a single drop down her shoulder and her heaving chest. Grayson had to fight the urge to lick it, though ice play would be a nice little adventure for another time.

“I know you can do things on your own, Helena. But I don’t like that you were out there working yourself up in this heat after an already long day.”

Grayson was displeased that she would allow herself to become dehydrated. Now that he thought of it, the possibility made him severely anxious. If something were to happen at one of the homes she was cleaning, how would they get in touch with family? He then realized she’d likely chafe against that notion as she had not spoken with her mother since the dinner incident. Her brother was the only close contact she maintained, though he was hours away.

He felt his jaw clench. There were times like this he resented his condition. Grayson couldn’t throw her over his shoulder like a damsel in distress or come collect her in a car of his own at a moment’s notice in the event of an emergency. All he had was himself and his chair. Though it had proven enough up until now, a nagging thought ate at the back of his mind.

Would she resent him for not being able to “show up” for her?

Blissfully unaware of his sudden anxiety, she had curled up on his couch, hugging his throw pillow against her chest and letting her eyes flutter closed.

“Can we go to the park later, Daddy?” She blindly reached out for him with her hand.

Grayson took it in a second. “The park? Are you sure? I don’t want you to get any hotter, sweetheart.” He brought his fingers to her slightly cooled down forehead behind her wispy bangs.

“We’ve both been cooped up all week. I want to play out in nature.” She opened one chocolatey-brown eye.

Grayson had to fight the image of her dressed as an ethereal gothic being, traipsing through the woods and collapsing into a pile of leaves like the forest fairy she was. Fucking adorable.

“Well, I’m not sure if a playground with lots of screaming kids and sports fields is exactly nature.”

“Yeah, yeah, same thing.” She waved her hand and yawned.

Grayson chuckled at her sudden sleepiness despite her wanting to be outside. Far be it from him to deprive her of sunlight, even though it reddened her pale skin after ten minutes. He preferred to redden her flesh himself.

“Why don’t we relax here for a little while, and we’ll walk to the park later and watch the sunset.”

Her brown pools shot open.

“Really? Promise?” Her body sat up, but he guided her back down on the couch.

Grayson held out his pinky, a reminder of their early days together.

Helena smiled and gave him hers.

“Do I have to nap?”

“Yes. You’re a little wound up right now. I’ll get you another water but drink it slowly.” He raised an eyebrow and tore himself away, rolling to the kitchen to bring her a new one.

“Do you ever get sick taking care of me?” He heard her call out from the couch, curled up in a perfect ball.

“Never. I’m a disabled Daddy but I’m your Daddy all the same, aren’t I?”

Helena eagerly nodded, sipping her icy water.

“Still, I can take care of you sometimes, right?”

“You take care of me by letting me take care of you. All my adult life I wanted a Little to love and take care of.”

Her breath hitched at his mention of love.

Grayson couldn’t deny it, but this was conversation best saved for later, as his little girl was swiftly falling asleep under his hand.

“Daddy—” she breathed.

“Shhh. Sleep, baby doll.” He bent for another kiss, and Helena accepted. She didn’t fight her sleep soon after.

Grayson pondered her desire to take care of him, but in what way? What if he was injured, and needed transferring assistance, and the allure of being her Daddy wasn’t the same anymore? Suddenly she would be thrust into a caregiving position. Grayson knew full well that it was a tough road to navigate. Sure, there were plenty of interabled couples where a more prominent level of care was required. But if that were to become a reality for them, would Helena see him differently?

Would he still be her safety in her mind?

Helena needed structure. Order. But most of all loving care. Grayson could provide that tenfold.

But life always found a way to throw in a dose of reality.

While watching her sleep from the kitchen, he quietly worked on his laptop, pulling up everything he wanted her to have in her car from now on. He promptly added them to his cart and hoped for a speedy delivery. If he couldn’t be there physically, he would be sure to take care of her from afar, arming Helena with all necessary supplies he would require her to have from now on.

Grayson watched as Helena practically frolicked in circles around him. It was a perfect park spot, smack in the middle of the grassy field. A butterfly had landed on a rose in the garden, and she carefully examined it, managing to capture a photo on her phone before she lost the light.

Helena turned around and happily began snapping photos of the scenery around them.

“Sorry, I love sunsets.” She giggled.

“Don’t be sorry, baby, I want you to have fun.” Grayson held out his arm and flexed his bicep. His little girl bit her bottom lip and snapped a picture of him strategically by the lake they were lounging next to.

“Can we do this all the time?”

She seated herself on his lap, ignoring the strange stares from onlookers.

Her long purple skirt fanned out over both of their legs, sitting perfectly at her waist line.

She tugged at her top, which was snug against her stomach that pooched in this position.

“Don’t. I want to see you.”

Grayson held her hands to her side tightly, making her squirm.

“Yes, Daddy.”

He could tell she was biting her lip again, making him want to bite down on it himself. A devilish grin spread across his face, and he looked around them. The sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, leaving an array of orange, blue and yellow colors. They couldn’t see anyone beyond a certain distance.

“Stay still, babygirl.”

“What?” She turned her head, but he wound his hand in her hair, turning her head to face forward.

“Stay just like this. Be a good girl.”

Grayson let his hand dip below the waistband of her skirt, easily slipping through the stretchy material until he found the band of her panties.

“Daddy!” she whispered and yelled at the same time. Her head frantically looked from side to side as she snapped her thighs shut.

“What did I say?” he hissed into her ear and nipped on her lobe.

“To stay still.”

“If you look around like we have something to hide, everyone will know. Do you want everyone to know your Daddy is touching you?”

“Oh god...” she whimpered, keeping her thighs clamped. “They’ll know!” Helena wriggled in his lap, but the hand under her skirt prevented her from leaving him.

Grayson kept her back flush to his chest, where he felt her lungs rapidly expand with each breath.

“They won’t if you sit like a pretty, quiet girl and open your legs.” He groaned, letting his fingers slip just beneath her panties, dangerously close to her clitoral hood.

“Fuck...” Helena couldn’t help but let her thighs fall open slightly, fighting to keep her head up and act natural.

“Good, now you’re going to keep looking ahead and pretend we’re just an average couple watching the sunset.” He chuckled and let one finger drag up her already swollen button.

Helena practically jumped in his lap.

“We are an average couple watching the sunset!” she gasped and moaned at the same time, almost too loud.

“Shhh. I’ll need to gag you if you can’t hold back, then everyone will really know that you’re a dirty girl.”

He started slowly, smirking as his ears picked up the wetness between her legs over the sound of the crickets chirping.

“Oh my god...” She was whispering. Cursing. Doing everything she could to keep from throwing her head back and crying out.

He flattened his hand, rubbing her between his fingers until her body relaxed enough to fully spread her legs in his lap. Grayson was thankful for the fullness and length of her skirt, but almost wished for the sun to hurry its descent and plunge them into darkness. Then he could just hike it up, bunch it around her full hips and truly make her squirm.

Footsteps approached from their left, and she snatched his wrist, white knuckling it to stop his ministrations until the oblivious couple smiled and nodded as they walked past.

“Let go. Daddy’s got you.”

She obeyed but huffed. “This is insane.”

“This is fun.” He punctuated his words with light taps on her needy center, the wetness sounding loud in the otherwise quiet setting.

“God yes!”

“Keep watching that sunset, sweetheart. I love how this light looks on you.”

Helena giggled, and he could see her eyes darting back and forth.

“You love torturing me,” Helena whimpered as she chomped down on her lip. Just at the exact time he applied more pressure. She’d have to release her teeth from it unless she wanted to draw blood.

“What’s Daddy going to find if I just...” He trailed his hand further down, dipping into her entrance.

With another curse, she tensed.

“I’m going to have to take care of this when we get back home.” When he broke the news that he may or may not have had an intention of making her come right here, she practically squawked at him.

“What?”

“No coming, princess.” He took his fingers away, leaving her needy and squirmy in his lap. The more she moved against his groin, the harder he was becoming. Little did she know, this was torture for him too.

“So you do like this?”

“Mhm!” She rapidly nodded her head, even grabbing his wrist in an attempt to make him continue.

“You want to come on my lap in public, don’t you?”

“Yes!”

“Yes what, baby?”

“Yes, Daddy!” While that was loud, Grayson could no longer bring himself to care.

He gifted her just a few more moments of pleasure. This time she opened her thighs freely, rocking her hips against his hand. But every few seconds, much to her grief, he’d pull his fingers away.

Grayson could tell how close she was becoming, evident by the shaking of her legs.

“Oh god oh god oh god...” Her hands grabbed each arm rest of his chair. Should someone just happen upon them now, they would be discovered. By now, Helena was acting as the lookout, and trying her hardest to come.

“Please, Daddy!”

“Please what?”

She huffed in frustration, letting her head fall back. She was too far gone now. Mere seconds away.

To make it even harder for her, he quickened his pace, ensuring she would find great difficulty in uttering just five little words that could guarantee her much needed release.

She began to cry out, but he wouldn’t stop. Helena could do it. Grayson knew she could.

“Please, Daddy, can I come?” Her entire body tensed on the precipice of her peak.

“Come.” His single command unlocked the door, and she began to furiously tremble in his lap, forcing Grayson to wrap a hand around her slender throat to keep from screaming too loud. It only intensified her orgasm, as her fluids gushed onto his hand.

He proudly eased her from her silent high, massaging her throat with his other hand and wrapping it in her hair

Helena happily smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck the way she always did.

By now, it was dark, with a few stars beginning to appear in the sky. If it wasn’t swiftly becoming a flying insect breeding ground, he would happily watch the stars with her all night.

“Why don’t we go home so I can take care of you, Daddy?”

She whispered in his ear, repositioning herself in his lap so he could hold her bridal style as she dangled her feet in the air.

“Well, if my girl says so.”

He tightened his grip around Helena one-handed as he pushed his joystick, and off they were, laughing like a couple of fools as she rode in his lap all the way home.
