Epilogue Jesse #2

The fullness was exquisite, that perfect blend of pleasure and stretch that only Cole could give me. He stayed still for a moment, letting me adjust, his hands stroking my sides with surprising gentleness given how desperately I could feel him trembling with the effort of holding back.

“C’mon,” I commanded, rolling my hips back against him. “Fuck me like you mean it, cowboy.”

That broke his control. Cole’s fingers dug into my hips as he pulled back and slammed forward, setting a punishing rhythm that had me scrambling for purchase against the slippery tile. Each thrust hit that perfect spot inside me, sending jolts of pleasure through my entire body.

The shower rained down around us, steam rising as Cole fucked me with reckless abandon, all his careful restraint forgotten in the heat of the moment.

The sound of wet skin slapping against skin echoed off the bathroom walls, mingling with our groans and gasps that we did nothing to quell.

I was too lost in sensation to care if anyone heard.

My entire world narrowed to the feeling of Cole behind me, inside me, claiming me with every powerful thrust.

“Fuck, Jesse,” Cole growled, his voice strained and husky. “I’m gonna fill you up.”

“Yes,” I gasped, my forehead pressed against the cool tile as water cascaded down my back. “Breed me, Cole. Please.”

His rhythm faltered at my words, a guttural groan escaping him as his thrusts became more erratic.

One of his hands slid around to grasp my cock, stroking me in time with his movements.

The dual sensation was overwhelming. His thick cock hit my prostate perfectly while his calloused hand worked my shaft.

“I’m close,” I warned, feeling the familiar tightening at the base of my spine. “So fucking close.”

“Wait for me,” Cole commanded, his voice rough against my ear. “Together.”

He slammed into me harder, deeper, the force of it pushing me against the wall. I was helpless, caught between the cool tile and Cole’s burning hot body, completely at his mercy and loving every second of it.

When his teeth sank into the juncture of my neck and shoulder, I lost it.

My orgasm ripped through me without warning, my cock pulsing in his grip as I painted the shower wall with thick ropes of cum.

Cole followed immediately, burying himself to the hilt as he emptied inside me, his release hot and abundant.

“Fuck,” he breathed against my skin, his body draped over mine as we both struggled to catch our breath.

“Goddamn,” I muttered in agreement, too blissed out to form complete sentences.

We stayed like that for a moment, his cock still throbbing inside me and the shower washing away the evidence of our passion. Eventually, Cole pulled out with a soft groan, and I felt his cum dripping down my thighs. I was never going to get tired of that feeling.

“Turn around,” he said softly, helping me when my legs proved too wobbly to manage on my own.

His face was flushed, hair plastered to his forehead, blue eyes bright with satisfaction and something deeper. Something that still made my heart skip even after all these months together. He kissed me tenderly, a stark contrast to the raw intensity of moments before.

“I love you,” he murmured against my lips.

“I love you too,” I replied, meaning it more than I’d ever meant anything in my life.

We finished our shower properly then, washing each other with gentle hands and stealing kisses under the spray. By the time we stepped out, wrapped in the hotel’s plush towels, the sun was beginning to set, casting golden light through the windows of our suite.

“I love the sunsets here,” I said, stepping out onto the private balcony in just my towel. “They’re so beautiful.”

“Not half as beautiful as you,” Cole replied, joining me a moment later.

“You’re such a charmer.”

“I do what I can.”

There was a long pause as the pair of us stood side by side, watching the water dance and sparkle in the golden light. Cole fidgeted nervously beside me for a moment before he cleared his throat.

“Jesse?”

“Yeah?”

“I… I’ve got somethin’ I’ve been meaning to ask you for a while. But the time just never seemed right.” He grabbed my hand, turning me to face him. “And I figure now is as good a time as any.”

“Ask me something?” I stared at the nervous expression on his face. Those blue eyes found me and in them I saw something I didn’t recognize. “What’s wrong, Cole?”

“Nothin’s wrong,” he smiled. “That’s just it. Everything’s just right for the first time in my life.” He pulled his left hand out from behind him, a small black box held in his fingers. “And I’d like to keep it that way. If you’ll have me that is.”

My heart leapt into my throat. “Is… Is that what I think it is?”

Cole’s eyes were fixed on me, vulnerable and hopeful as he held the small velvet box. My heart hammered wildly against my ribs as I stared at it, unable to form words.

“I’ve had this for quite a while. Before we got the ranch back even,” he admitted, his voice rough with emotion. “I’ve been trying to find the perfect moment.”

“Cole,” I finally managed, my voice barely above a whisper. “Are you serious?”

He nodded, swallowing hard before he flipped open the box. Inside was a simple platinum band, understated but beautiful. Just like him.

“I know it’s not fancy,” he said, suddenly looking uncertain. “But I thought it suited you—us—better than anything flashy.”

I reached out with trembling fingers, touching the ring as if to confirm it was real. The metal caught the golden sunset light, gleaming warm against the black velvet.

“Jesse Harris,” Cole began, his voice steadying as he dropped to one knee on our balcony.

The towel around his waist threatened to come loose, but he didn’t seem to care.

“I’ve loved you since we were kids, even when I was too stubborn to admit it.

You left, and I spent fifteen years trying to forget you.

Then you came back and turned my whole world upside down. ”

Tears filled my eyes, blurring my vision. I blinked them away, not wanting to miss a moment of this.

“I don’t want to waste another day pretending I could ever live without you,” he continued. “You’re everything to me—my best friend, my partner, my family. Will… Will you marry me?”

The words hung between us, carried on the salt breeze. Behind him, the sun dipped lower toward the horizon, painting everything in gold and amber. We were both butt naked except for our towels, standing on a hotel balcony three thousand miles from home, and it was absolutely perfect.

“Yes,” I said, the word coming out choked with emotion. “God, yes, Cole.”

His face broke into the most beautiful smile I’d ever seen—open and unguarded in a way Cole Nelson rarely allowed himself to be. He took the ring from its box with slightly shaking hands and slid it onto my finger. It fit perfectly.

“How did you know my size?” I asked, staring at the band now adorning my hand.

“I may have measured your finger while you were sleeping,” he admitted with a sheepish grin. “Evelyn helped.”

I laughed through my tears. “Of course she did. She’s been in on this the whole time, hasn’t she?”

“Who do you think helped me pick out the ring?” Cole stood, pulling me against his chest. “She said if I didn’t ask you soon, she was going to do it for me.”

I wrapped my arms around his neck, the metal of my new ring cool against his warm skin. “It’s perfect, Cole. All of this is. You, the ranch, our lives together… it’s incredible.” I pulled him close, kissing him hard. “I love you so much.”

“I love you too, Jesse,” he replied. “More than I ever thought possible.”
