Chapter 30 #2

“Yup,” she replied, surprising me. Pulling her away from a good time was like pulling teeth and she loved to tease me. She must have really needed that and I couldn’t wait to give it to her.

“Shit, let’s go.”

______________

I forgot that we had promised Granny that we would pass by her house when we left the club.

We had her gift in the car and she had cooked Sunday dinner, so we wanted our plates that she put up for us.

We had eaten at Baylor’s, but it was only 6 pm.

We were going to be hungry again later and we didn’t have a cooked meal waiting for us at home.

So yea, we needed those plates of crawfish pasta, stuffed bell peppers, and baked chicken from Granny.

Thankfully, she only stayed about 7 minutes away from Baylor’s.

“Bitch, I know you lying,” Lourdes muttered right after I pulled off from the club.

“Wassup?” I glanced over at her and saw that she was looking at her phone. “What’s going on?”

“Why Naz people saying she’s missing? A tea page just posted about it.”

“You lying,” I gasped. I sounded so sincere that it was kind of scary. I’d mastered the art of deception a long time ago. I didn’t use it all the time. Only when it was absolutely necessary.

“I swear! Look, they’re saying no one has heard from her since Friday evening and that the police aren't taking it seriously.”

“Damn,” I uttered while taking a quick glance at her phone as if I cared to really see. I knew very well that she’d been missing since Friday because that was the night I got rid of her ass.

I sat on what Rahesha told me for a few days until I made a move.

I knew that I’d have to take Naz’s life but I couldn’t just react without formulating a solid plan.

So I took four days to plot, and by the fifth day I was executing.

Naz made it easy because she was a social media ass bitch who posted her every move.

I got somebody to snatch her ass up and bring her to an undisclosed location.

“Why the people in the comments saying that she’s probably hiding from the people she’s been scamming?”

“She then crossed so many people. Ain’t no telling.”

After being publicly embarrassed by Lourdes, Naz had left us alone on social media.

But she remained in drama due to all the scams she was running.

Somebody was always calling her out for doing them dirty with the bank shit.

Her having so many enemies worked in my favor because I was the last person anyone would suspect.

My mom was the only one who’d know and she wasn’t going to say shit.

I could say a lot about Rahesha, but I knew she’d never betray me like that or play police games.

But let’s say if she lost her mind and tried to take it there, I wasn’t against making my siblings orphans.

That shit would break my heart, so I hope it never came to that.

“Chile, not Lyss in the comments with prayer hands like she knows this girl or something.”

“Your cousin something else, bruh,” I chuckled dryly.

Nalyssa was next on my hit list because her evil ass was the one who sent Naz Lourdes’ address.

That’s right, her own cousin gave her home address to a hater.

I wanted nothing more than to kill Naz quickly and move on, but I had questions that needed answers.

I needed to know who the robbers were that actually knocked Lourdes over and almost hurt my baby.

I also needed to know how Naz got her address.

It could’ve been as simple as her stalking Lourdes or doing some type of shady background check, but I needed to hear her say that.

“Aliiii, no one was supposed to get hurt,” she cried. The second she laid eyes on me in the dark room she had to know she wasn’t getting out alive. Still, I gave her false hope so she’d run her mouth and tell me what I needed to know.

“So all you wanted was her shit, huh?”

“Yes,” she sniffled. “She was popping it on IG, so I was trying to prove a point that all that material shit can be taken in a blink of an eye! I didn’t know she’d come home.”

She was lying like a rug. I could see right through her envious ass.

She probably did tell the robbers that Lourdes wouldn’t be home and that’s why they felt comfortable running up in there.

But she was undeniably hoping that she would be home and that they’d show no mercy when they saw her.

She didn’t know that those niggas had a little sense.

It didn’t matter, though, because they were going to die, too.

“Well she did come home, and them niggas violated. Who are they?”

She wept from the depths of her soul.

“C’mon. Let me know so I can give these bullets who they belong to.”

She looked up at me and her eyes sparkled with a glimmer of hope. Dumb bitch.

“It was my cousins T-Man and Daryllll,” her voice cracked.

I knew those bullshit niggas from the hood. They were the same age as me, but had nothing to show for it. They were petty criminals who would’ve been better off at somebody's 9 to 5 because they weren’t making any money in the streets. Naz had gotten the right clowns to do her dirty work.

“B-B-But, her cousin is the one who gave me her address,” Naz cried, volunteering information I hadn’t even asked for yet. I guess she felt like it was only right to sell out everybody since she was selling out her own people.

“What?” I snarled.

“Her cousin Nalyssa dm’d me her address way back in October after they got into it on IG. She told me that I should go beat her ass because she was fucking my man,” she whimpered. “But I wasn’t about to beat a pregnant bitch up.”

I glared at her in disbelief. “But you got a pregnant bitch robbed?”

“N-N-No! I was just in my feelings after Christmas and I felt like y’all was playing on my top! I never intended for her to get hurt! I swear!”

“It’s cool, Naz. I swear.”

“Seriously?”

“Yea, I’m about to put you out of your misery.”

I blew that bitches brains out with zero remorse.

I never thought I’d be put in the position to end Naz’s life, but I didn’t feel bad about it.

She didn’t give a fuck about putting Lourdes in the line of fire while she was pregnant with my baby, so it was curtains for that hoe.

Her family could have fun trying to find her body because the day would never come.

Nalyssa and those niggas would soon share the same fate.

Mutherfuckers were on borrowed time. Naz had given me all the answers I needed, so I could off them without all the dramatics.

“Hold up, our song playing, doll baby,” I turned the radio up. I didn’t want to keep talking about opps because my trigger finger was starting to itch. I was going to end up sliding on her cousin tonight if we didn’t change the subject.

“Isn’t your phone connected to the bluetooth?” She giggled.

“Yea, what’s funny?”

“That you added this song to your Apple Music. I love my influence on you, baby,” she reached over and caressed my face as “Passenger Princess” by Monaleo ft. Stunna 4 Vegas played. My cheeks grew warm and she laughed even harder. “Nigga not you blushing. See, that makes this song hit even harder.”

“Blushing? You might be going blind, doll baby,” I laughed.

She smiled while rolling her eyes, before turning up the radio louder.

“I can't never leave my nigga, bitch, it ain't no breaking up. And I'm nothing like them bitches, he know how I gave it up. This pussy turned a hood nigga to a house nigga, no lie, I can't make this up!”

That shit was a true story. Really, the whole song was and that’s why I fucked with it.

“Here comes your part, baby,” she giggled, while putting her phone up to my mouth like it was a mic. I never met a girl who I was able to be goofy like this with. She made day to day life fun and light hearted.

“Ay, my chop got double D's on it. Snatch some new shit off the lot and throw some D's on it. Ay, I get shit hot, I'm talking four hundred degrees. Bae, that pussy fye, it'll make a nigga hit one knee, won't it?”

“Will it really?” She tittered.

“Fucking right. We might as well go look at some rings next week so you can have an idea of what you want,” I winked at her before jumping back into Stunna’s verse.

“I ain't gon' lie, I'm stuck in a box. We did plenty stepping, I still'll put jibbitz in my Crocs.

She know that pussy good, she been done got a nigga shot.

Huh, ain't nothing tender, but I'll kill you 'bout that twat.”

“I don’t want you killing nobody, daddy.”

“Mannn,” I laughed. “It’s just a song, Lourdy.”

“That be nigga’s favorite line.”

“Nigga’s? What nigga’s?”

“Nigga’s in general. Because you’re the only man I’ve ever been with, for real.”

“Oh, alright,” I laughed as I turned onto her grandma’s street.

“I hope Granny don’t be tryna talk our heads off, ‘cause I’m ready to get home.”

“You miss Louri, huh?” I asked, holding back laughter.

“Nigga please, ain’t nobody thinking about her! You know why I’m ready to get home.”

“That’s a damn shame. Is that all you think about?”

“Armias, go to he-what the fuck?!” She exclaimed while leaning forward. “Is that Kenny hitting Lyss?!”

Lourdes

“Lo, what the fuck?! What are you doing?!”

Armias had barely parked before I jumped out of his car barefoot.

I jetted over to my Granny’s front yard where Kenny’s bitch ass was using Lyss’ face as his own personal punching bag.

She was trying to fight back, but obviously her strength was no match for his strength.

If Lyss was getting beat up by another woman, it would’ve been easy for me to turn the other cheek.

If I felt like it was going too far I would’ve stepped in to break it up.

But I was not about to let a grown ass man beat on her.

I didn’t care that it was my ex or that she’d betrayed me by fucking with him in the first place.

That shit was really irrelevant at this point.

“SHIT!” He howled.
