Chapter 76

Kate,

I hope you had a lovely Christmas. I spent mine with Logan and Maxton—they did their best to distract me and keep my mind off things.

But not an hour has gone by in the past few weeks where I haven’t thought of you.

I never wanted to hurt you, and I hate myself for having done so.

You shouldn’t have to go through anything like what you endured with your mum—especially not because of me.

Which is why I’ve decided to start therapy.

I’ve spoken to the Harmony Rehabilitation Centre here in London, and beginning in January, I’ll be having sessions twice a week.

Not just to get clean, but to stay clean. So I can be the man you deserve.

Yours forever,

Henry
