CHAPTER 27
Leo
‘Sorry, George Hampden went down on you at the party?’ Rosa screams down the phone. ‘Who are you? And what have you done with the real Leo?’
I thank god I’m wearing AirPods. ‘Wait a sec, just ordering.’
I’m in the queue at Le Comptoir, the Ritz Paris’s new patisserie. I wanted to surprise George with some of their famous madeleines when he’s back from the gym. I buy four different varieties for us to share and head back up to our suite.
I woke up this morning in my own bed, a note left on the bedside table.
Carried you here after the film. You’re cute when you sleep.
Gone to the gym. Back for breakfast.

Last night was a rollercoaster, but I’m glad it happened.
He makes so much sense to me now and my heart aches to think of him battling this alone.
Any anger I felt towards him has disappeared entirely, but I can’t shake the fact that I was so quick to judge him without once considering that he was a real human being.
I idly wonder how many others, especially in the public eye, are feeling the same way.
Poor George. I’ve never had an issue sharing anything I was feeling, knowing I’d be supported no matter what – with my mum, with Rosa, even Jack.
At least he had Jack, but to have no family members acknowledge his struggles, not even his fiancée, I shudder at the thought.
I switch to speakerphone when I get into the suite.
‘Hellooo, are you brain dead from orgasms?’ Rosa takes me from my thoughts.
‘Rosa!’
‘How was it?’
I blush, even though I’m alone. ‘Pretty incredible actually. He’s so, so hot.’
‘Well duh! Is he as moody when he comes?’ She imitates his deep accent, ‘Uh Leo, Uh . . .’
I giggle at her impression. ‘Rosa! Stop! You’re on speakerphone.’ A thought occurs to me. ‘Rosa, I haven’t . . .’ I lower my voice to a whisper, ‘he hasn’t done that yet.’
‘Are you telling me he’s got you off twice in the last forty-eight hours? And not asked for anything in return?’ She sounds incredulous.
‘I wanted to yesterday, but we ended up having room service and watching a movie.’ I don’t tell her about the conversation we had, still processing everything myself.
She pauses on the phone. ‘Wait, so this is more than just shagging? You’re actually hanging out too?’
‘Yeah, I guess?’ I question it myself now. ‘I mean, we get on really well. And it’s just easy to have fun with him. He’s great actually.’
‘Wow.’ I can hear the smile in her voice. ‘So you don’t hate his guts any more?’
I laugh. ‘No. I really don’t. I had him all wrong and I know it’s not been long, but I think I like him. A lot.’
‘Leo, not once in our friendship have I ever heard you say to me that you actually like a boy.’ Her tone is warm, serious now. ‘I’m happy for you. I just hope he’s good enough. You’re a fucking catch.’
‘She most certainly is.’ I hear a deep rumble behind and almost jump a metre into the air. ‘And I’ll try my best.’
‘George!’ I hear Rosa laughing down the phone. ‘Rosa, I have to go!’
‘Hi, Rosa,’ he speaks towards the phone, his voice light, fun. ‘Thanks for the warning, but don’t worry, I’ll take good care of her.’
‘You better, superstar! Or you’ll have me to answer to!’ I put my head in my hands, mortified. ‘Love you, Leo!’ She hangs up.
George is incredibly amused. ‘Tennis dress, right? Your friend from the club?’
‘Yes, how much did you hear?’ I ask, peeking through my fingers.
‘Just the end. I was getting dressed and heard you come in.’ He looks at me with a grin, taking my hands from my eyes. ‘Why? What were you talking about?’ His eyes twinkle, bright against his clear golden skin flushed from the shower he must have just had. He’s so beautiful.
And smells incredible. I lean closer, pressing a light kiss to his mouth. He parts his lips and my tongue pushes in. He tastes minty, delicious. I want him.
Madeleines forgotten on the table, I tug him along, leading him to my bedroom.
‘Leo, what are you doing?’
I don’t answer, instead pushing him down onto the end of the bed, before dropping to my knees. His legs fall either side of me as he leans forward to cup my face. His voice is careful. ‘Leo, you don’t have to do this.’
‘I want to.’ He lifts his hips slightly as I slide his grey sweatpants all the way down. He’s not wearing underwear and his already hardening cock springs free. It’s fucking huge. ‘I really, really want to.’
‘Are you sure?’ he asks, a smile on his lips. ‘I have just as much fun making you come. But the thought of your mouth . . .’ His cock twitches, now full and thick, and I feel an ache building between my own thighs.
‘I’m sure.’ I grip onto his muscular quads, kissing up and up slowly, closer and closer . . . He shivers.
I press a soft kiss to his tip, licking the sensitive spot just below and his hips snap forward, involuntarily. I smile, alternating my tongue with light kisses down his shaft and he groans.
‘You’re teasing me,’ he grumbles, his voice rough.
‘Just taking my time.’
I circle his thick base and pump, two, three times at a deliberately slow pace, rubbing my thumb over his glistening tip.
His body is ridiculous and I use my other hand to trace the deep V, the ridges of his exquisite abs.
His soft, warm skin is stretched over those glorious muscles, rising and falling with his breaths, tensing at my touch.
I move my mouth to his cock, sucking gently on the pre-cum building at the head. He’s delicious.
‘Leo . . .’ His eyes meet mine for a second before I lean forward fully, finally taking him into my mouth, and he exhales sharply. ‘Fuck.’ They snap shut, his brow creasing. ‘Fuck.’
He cups my face again, stroking my cheek tenderly, before gathering up my hair in his hand, offering him a better view. He’s hard and hot against my tongue and I flick it against the tip as I move up and down, taking more of his obscene length each time.
‘You look so fucking pretty right now,’ he groans. He’s panting, his breaths coming quick and fast, and it amazes me that I’m doing this to him. The power rushes through me; it’s such a turn-on, each groan from him building the pressure within me.
‘You’re so good at this.’ His voice is gravelly. I suck in my cheeks, increasing the pressure on his shaft while swirling my tongue against the head of his cock, and he barks out a strangled, ‘Oh fuck!’
This is fun, so hot. I love hearing him undone and I want more.
I take him in my hand again, stroking and squeezing with just the right amount of pressure. ‘I want to make you feel good.’
I need to see him as unravelled as he made me.
‘I feel, fucking incredible,’ he manages to get out, and I draw him back in, one hand pumping in time with my mouth as the other goes to his balls, drawn tight. His hips thrust forward, pushing him deeper and I moan in pleasure. He’s close.
‘Leo, I’m going to come, I’m going to co—Fuck.’ I pull away as he climaxes, spilling onto his stomach, panting heavily.
I grin, satisfied, before getting up to grab some tissues but before I can move, he reaches for my hand, pulling me down for a kiss, still breathless.
‘That was so hot,’ he says against my mouth. I’m beaming as I twist away, heading to the bathroom, and he lands a gentle slap on my behind.
——
‘This is chocolate, this one lemon, a caramel, and vanilla.’ I point out each madeleine individually, as George sits opposite, grinning at me.
I can’t get over him smiling. It transforms his face from classically handsome to blindingly beautiful.
‘We can share or you just take your pick. Whatever you prefer.’ I blush slightly, embarrassed at being so keen.
‘You’re cute, Leo.’ He grabs the lemon, biting half before handing it to me. ‘And really fucking sexy too.’ He takes the caramel and does the same thing. ‘Mmm. This tastes nearly as good as you . . .’ he says with a wink.
‘George! You and your mouth, I thought you were supposed to find talking difficult?’
He pauses, thinking before speaking. ‘I guess I feel comfortable with you,’ he smiles. ‘But also telling you how good you make me feel or what I want to do to you isn’t difficult.’
He takes my hand, stroking my knuckles with his thumb. ‘Last night, that was hard, but it felt good. You make it easy for me to open up.’ He looks at me. ‘I actually want to. And that’s the rare bit.’
Warmth fills my body at his revelation and I can’t believe how far we’ve come in so short a time. Part of me is scared, but a bigger part of me is excited. Ultimately my gut is telling me that this is right, to explore whatever this is.
We sit contentedly, finishing the madeleines and concluding that caramel was absolutely the best. It feels normal, almost domestic, to be chatting over morning pastries. He checks his phone, groaning when he sees he has to go.
‘What’s on your agenda today while I’m at practice?’
‘Work, really. I have so many emails to get back to, and Cece is chasing for an update – read this.’ I swing my laptop around.
Leonora,
Status report needed re George.
What’s he been doing? Have we serviced him enough?
Remember, no slacking, you’re not on holiday. This is important.
Cece
‘He’s a total idiot,’ George scoffs. ‘I honestly don’t know how you do it!’
I shrug. ‘I don’t have much choice; I’ve worked hard to get to this position. But he’s friends with Giles so, you know, that’s how this world works. I just have to suck it up.’ He’s annoyed, his brow creased.
‘It’s not fair though, Leo. You’re so much better than him.’
I shrug again, not sure what else to say. I attempt to lighten the mood. ‘But, George, the real question is, have I serviced you enough?’ I cock an eyebrow.
He smirks back. ‘Put in your report. “Excellent arse. Fantastic tits. Unbelievable head. Very satisfied.”’
I laugh loudly, wiping my eyes. He’s certainly good for my confidence.
‘Can I organize something for us this evening at least? Something that I actually can report back?’
Surprise flits across his face before he smiles. ‘Of course. What do you have in mind?’
‘You’ll see.’ I have an idea forming already. ‘Will you be free from around 7?’
‘I’ll make sure to be, for you.’ His eyes roam my face, heated, until his phone buzzes, letting him know his car has arrived for practice. He performs an overly dramatic eye roll that makes me laugh again. He’s funny.
‘Thank you, Leo, for an incredible morning.’ He kisses me lightly goodbye before grabbing his kit and heading to the door. ‘Don’t miss me too much, beautiful.’
I can’t help but grin. I’m in way over my head, but I’m loving it.
My laptop pings and reality hits. As Cece loves to remind me: this is not a holiday!
