5. Chapter 5

Eamon

He frowned at his phone. A text came through from the guard house telling him that Liam, Kiera, and Daphne were through the gates, but the car was stopped and it looked like he was trying to calm Daphne down.

Apparently, there was lots of yelling. Since he was dressed casually, he figured he wouldn’t be too intimidating to the poor girl, so he hopped in his black truck and headed their way.

As he approached, Liam held up a hand for him to stop.

“Grab Kiera, please. She is melting down and I need to get Daphne calmed down.”

“Got it, brother.” Liam was one of his best soldiers.

He was honest, loyal, and treated women like they were spun gold.

He was calm in dangerous situations, but just as lethal as anyone he knew.

He was going to promote him to capo soon.

He just didn’t know it yet. Going to the other side of the SUV, he pulled a crying Kiera from her seat.

“Shhhh, you’re ok, Kiera. Daphne is going to be ok. Take a breath and tell Uncle Eamon what’s wrong.” He was patting her back, bouncing her as you would a young child.

“It’s all my fault!” she wailed.

“What is all your fault, Little girl?”

“I-I told h-her y-you were m-mafia, and she started screaming that you were g-gonna k-kill her!” Her wails were growing louder and louder.

“Hey, hey, hey. Look at me, Kiera. Right now.” He knew his sharp command would snap her out of her panic. “You girls are the most precious things in the world. I promise I am not going to kill her. That’s not even a thing in my brain, ok?”

Kiera studied his face, tears coursing down her cheeks, her eyes red and puffy. “O-ok, Uncle Eamon. I was bad. I shouldn’t have said a-anything.”

“No, sweet girl, you are not bad. It’s ok. We are going to talk to Daphne and get all of this straightened out. But no one is dying.”

“Pinky promise?” She looked up at him through her wet eyelashes.

Hooking his pinky with hers, he nodded. “Pinky promise.” He tickled her belly until she let out a watery giggle and snuggled in close to his chest. “I need you to do me a favor, Kiera. I need you to go with Freya while I help your Daddy with Daphne. You can stay here, but you just need to go cuddle her in the back of my truck.”

Her eyes lit up like the 4th of July and she squirmed out of his hold, running to the truck. “Auntie Freya, Auntie Freya! Yous here!”

Satisfied that Kiera was safe and taken care of, he approached Liam and Daphne cautiously. He did not want to spook her now that she was no longer screaming.

When he finally got his first look at her, his face cleared, and he sighed in relief.

This was Daphne Stone, little sister to Damian Stone, one of his best friends and former associates.

While Damian was not in the mafia, he consulted with them on certain medical needs in the past. He always wanted to keep the mafia away from his sister, so Eamon never pushed him to join.

Backing up, he called Damian, who answered on the first ring.

“Hey, Boss E. What’s up?”

Damian chuckled at his growl. “I’m going to have Finnean’s head for spreading that around. But that’s not why I am calling. I have a bit of a situation and I hope you can help me out.”

He heard him shuffling things around and a whining, “But Zaddy, you’re gonna miss the movie.” Grinning to himself, he was so damn happy for his friend and his husband. They went through hell, but found their Little girl and submissive.

“Sorry, had to get Emma settled and step outside.”

“I’m sorry to take you away from movie time, but I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important.”

“Ok. I’ll help if I can. Tell me what’s going on.”

“First, I need you to know that she is 100% safe.”

“Who the fuck is safe, Eamon? Who do you have?”

“Your sister.”

“WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE MY SISTER?” He yelled so loud he had to move the phone away from his ear and he saw Daphne perk up; she had clearly heard his voice.

“Damian! Help, Damian! They’re gonna kill me!” She was fighting Liam’s hold, but managed to get away and run to him. “D-Damian, please. You have to h-help me. Please!” She was sobbing and screaming into the phone.

He tried to speak, but she didn’t hear anything over the heartbreaking sobs.

Whoever had told her he was going to kill her would pay dearly.

He never harmed women or children, a known fact.

With the phone still in his hand, he turned his back on everyone and walked a few feet away, trying to calm Damian down, too.

“I need you to keep a level head for thirty fucking seconds and let me explain what the fuck is going on. I’m not going to kill your sister.” It pissed him off that he even believed that was an option. He thought Damian knew him better than that. But that was a conversation for another day.

“Then start fucking explaining why my sister is sobbing hysterically, saying you’re going to kill her,” he growled.

“You know she is in North Carolina right now, right? With Liam and Kiera?”

“I knew that, but never pieced it together that it was your Liam. Fuck man, I’m sorry I overreacted.”

“Don’t even worry about it. I need you to calm her down and tell her I am not going to kill her.

And then we need to figure out what in the fuck is going on that she would even think that.

I’d like to get them all up to the house where it’s more comfortable, but right now, she is refusing to move from this spot. ”

Sighing, he said, “Give the phone to her, I’ll talk to her.”

“Daphne, your brother would like to talk to you.” He had to bite back at laugh at her attempt to look pissed as she stomped over to him. She jerked the phone from his hands and, in a move that shocked everyone, she drew her foot back and slammed it into his shin.

“Damian! Get here now and save me. They’re gonna kill me and I don’t know what he said to you, but it’s the mob and they’re going to kill me.

He told me I was going to die if the mafia ever got their hands on me.

” She was growing hysterical again, but Eamon had to trust that Damian could get her calmed again.

He stepped away to his truck to check on Freya and Kiera, giving Daphne and Damian some space to talk.

He wanted to know what she was saying, but it would have to wait.

He also couldn’t help but admire her curvy, sexy-as-sin body.

It was wildly inappropriate to be thinking of his friend’s sister like that, but it was like she had stepped out of his dreams into real life.

She was no more than 5’2’’, long brown hair that had been pulled up in a messy bun, chocolate eyes, thighs he wanted to grab hold of and never let go, a soft, round tummy, and an ass he couldn’t wait to spank.

Hearing the gravel behind him, he turned around to see a sniffling girl approach him, her head down.

“I’m, um. I’m sorry I kicked you. And my brother wants to talk to you again.” She handed him the phone and went back to Liam.

“It’s me.”

“Hey, I think I have her understanding who you are and that you won’t hurt her.

I have a lot of questions and I am about to hop on a plane and head there to get them myself, but I just got back to work after a six-month sabbatical and can’t take the time off.

I am trusting her with you and Liam. Do not let anyone touch a hair on her head or I will kill them myself. ”

“You know I would never harm a hair on her head. Spank her ass if she’s earned it, absolutely, but I know you don’t care about that. I think you’re stricter than me.” They both chuckled.

“You are not fucking spanking me, you bossy butthead!” The voice was so close he snapped around to see Daphne standing there, hands on her hips, a mutinous expression on her face. She was utterly fucking perfect.

“Oh, you are absolutely mistaken in that, Miss Daphne Erin Stone. I will absolutely haul your cute ass over my knee and paddle you raw if needed. And your brother would hand me the paddle.” He raised his eyebrow as he put his phone on speaker. “Isn’t that right, Damian? You’re on speaker.”

“That is absolutely right, Little girl. They can and will bust your butt if you need it.” Damian’s voice cracked like a whip, causing Daphne to glare at the phone in disgust.

“She is about to feel a switch on her bottom. I already warned her about her language once today. Isn’t that right, Daphne?

” Liam looked less than happy right now.

Eamon, on the other hand, was hoping to have that girl over his knees before the end of the day.

The way her attitude was going, he didn’t think that was a far-fetched idea.

“Yes, Uncle Liam. But he’s still not spanking me! Not now and not ever.” She turned and stomped off towards Liam’s SUV, climbed in the back, and slammed the door. All the men chuckled at her.

“She’s a fucking handful, Eamon. Good luck with her.” Damian was laughing at his sassy sister.

“Thanks, man,” he said dryly.

“I know y’all need to get to the house, but keep me posted on how she’s doing.

Something is up and I want to fill you in on what I know, but right now I need to get back to my Little girl before she winds up over my knee and you need to go deal with that language problem.

Personally, I find soap and a switch does the trick rather well.

” He huffed out a laugh. They said their goodbyes and Liam went to his SUV while he returned to his truck to drive the gravel road home.

“Hi, Uncle Eamon. How is Daphne?” The Little voice from the backseat made him smile.

“She’s good, nugget. You may have to explain some things to her and she’s going to get a spanking when we get to the house, so she may need some sweet Kiera hugs after.”

Wide-eyed, she gasped, “Oh no! Uncle Eamon, she can’t have another spankin’! Auntie Freya, tell him he can’t spank her!”

“I will do no such thing, Little girl.” Freya pinned her with a stern look. “And you better not try to interfere or you will feel my spoon on your bare bottom. Understood?”

“Yes, ma’am, Auntie Freya. I just don’t want to see my friend be in trouble.” Her voice trembled and he hated how sad she sounded on behalf of her friend. But they must deal with naughty girls swiftly and strictly to ensure they were kept safe and kept being the best girls they could be.

Parking, he groaned as he saw Daphne run towards the woods, Liam hot on her heels.

She wouldn’t get very far, but he sent a quick text to his staff to keep her safe.

His head of security would monitor her movements if she evaded Liam somehow.

Shaking his head, he addressed Freya: “Will you please take her inside so I can help Liam with our little runaway sassy pants?”

Shaking her head, she huffed, “Of course. Come on, Kiera, let’s go get some juice and a snack. I made some homemade bread today.”

“Oh, yummy! And can I has apple juice, Auntie Freya?” She continued her jabbering as they headed towards the house and he headed towards the woods.

He wasn’t sure how she got so far ahead, but he had a feeling it was because she jumped out of a moving vehicle.

If that was the case, she would earn more than a switching.

Catching up with Liam, he asked, “How did she get so far ahead of you?”

“I don’t fucking know, but when I catch her, she isn’t going to sit for a month,” he growled as they continued stomping through the woods. Suddenly, a high-pitched scream echoed in the woods, causing them both to freeze momentarily.

“Daphne! Where are you?” They were frantic as they picked up the pace in search of the screaming.

“I’m o-over here, Uncle Liam! Help! It h-hurts!” She was wailing, and he was grateful for her voice because it was leading them to her.

When they saw her, she was sitting on her bottom, clutching her left arm. Liam rushed over to her while he called his doctor to meet them at the house. With that done, he made his way over to the crying girl. She cradled her arm against her chest.

“I fell down and I h-hurt my wrist. It really hurts, Uncle Liam. Like, really bad!” Daphne sniffled.

“I’m sure it does, sweet girl. Let’s get you up and we will get your wrist looked at and make sure it isn’t broken.” Liam helped her to her feet, dusting her off gently, and kissed the top of her head. She looked so pitiful, but so cute at the same time.

“I’m sorry I was so naughty and ran, Uncle Liam and Mr. Eamon, Sir. I was just overwhelmed and scared of the switch and just took off.” Her voice was shaking as she apologized.

“We will talk about that later. Let’s get you patched up first and then we’ll discuss your running away.” Liam was just as strict as he was and Eamon knew she wouldn’t be off the hook for her disobedience.

They continued to the house, where Dr. Daniel was waiting for them.

He was his trusted doctor and longtime family friend.

They all went to the basement and into the medical room.

He had an entire medical facility down here.

Given the dangers of his jobs, he needed quick medical care.

Dr. Daniel and his staff lived on the farm property, close enough to be here within five minutes at any given time.

They were on call 24/7 but were given ample vacation time, and they had a few others who would fill in.

She got on the table as Daniel looked her over.

“Hi, sweet girl, I’m Dr. Daniel, but you can call me Dr. Dan.”

“Hi, Dr. Dan. I’m Daphne.” Her voice sounded so small for someone who claimed to not be a Little.

“It’s nice to meet you, Daphne. Can you tell me what happened so I can know how best to help your owie?” Dr. Daniel was fantastic with the Littles and submissives, and Eamon was appreciative. He mostly bandaged up his men but when a Little was hurt, he was caring and not his typical gruff self.

“Well, I was running through the woods and I tripped and fell on my wrist and now it h-hurts really badly.” She sniffled, he assumed to garner sympathy from all of them, but she would find out quickly she would get none.

“I’m sure it hurts. Let’s get an x-ray and see if you broke anything.” He brought over a portable x-ray machine and took several pictures of her hand, wrist, and forearm. He was thorough but careful as he rotated the crying girl’s arm for the perfect placement.

“This will take a few minutes to upload.” The Doctor disappeared and left us with a very recalcitrant young lady.
