Chapter 34 #3

The fullness of him inside my ass, has my pussy dripping and aching. Isaac wraps his arm around my waist, leaning his body on mine and forcing himself in even deeper. Reaching between my thighs, he moves his fingers in slow, methodic circles against my clit.

I let out a broken moan as pleasure ripples through my body.

Heat gathers in my core, and I rock my hips back and forth against him.

“Faster.” I whisper.

Isaac’s pace quickens, the sound of his body slapping mine fills the room. With one final thrust into me, I feel him pulsing inside, my own orgasm following closely behind. He pulls out slowly, leaving me sore and satisfied.

I collapse onto the bed on my stomach, and he lies down next to me. Leaning over, he pulls me on top of him, allowing me to try and catch my breath while my head rests on his chest.

It’s not long before everything that happened earlier hits me, breaking through the fog of pleasure.

“What do we do about my cousin? You heard Savannah, he’s never going to stop coming after me.”

Isaac’s fingers lightly trace along up and down my back. “We will figure it out,” he says, “together.”

Together. Always together. The word settles deep in my chest.

“By the way,” I murmur, lifting my head to look at him, “I know about the tracker in my phone. I saw it in the office downstairs. You need to remove it.” For a second, I expect him to deny it.

He lets out a short laugh. “Not happening Serena.”

“I’m not asking Isaac.” I sit up and narrow my eyes at him. “It’s a serious violation of my privacy and makes me feel like you don’t trust me. And it’s important to me that you know you can trust me.”

Isaac looks down at me, and a smile pulls at his lips. “Okay, Mi Vida. Your wish is my command.”

“Thank you.” Satisfied, I lay my head back down and kiss his chest.

We fall asleep in this position, and when I finally wake again, soft morning light spills through the windows. Half asleep, I roll over and grab my phone from the nightstand, my eyes widening when I see the time.

We have been sleeping for ten hours.

When I realize that Isaac isn’t in the bed next to me, I start to panic. Sitting up straight, I open my phone and see a text from him.

Isaac : you looked so peaceful sleeping, I didn’t want to wake you. I am running an errand with our friend and will be home soon. I have the security system armed.

Isaac : oh, and there is a gift for you on the dresser.

I turn my phone off and set it back down on my end table. Getting out of bed, I walk over to the dresser and see a red velvet box with a note. It reads:

I know how much Belle meant to you, so I had this necklace made with her ashes. Now you can have her with you wherever you go. Love, Isaac.

The note trembles slightly between my fingers. My throat tightens, and I stare at Isaac’s handwriting, watching it blur together. Tears spill over my lashes and fall onto the paper.

Isaac managed to turn something so tragic, into something so beautiful.

I set the note down next to the box on the dresser. My hands tremble as I pick it up and I take in a small breath before opening it.

Oh my.

Resting inside the box is a rose gold chain, and on the chain is a crystal paw print. When I look closer, I see strands of her fur woven within it. My chest tightens and my heart squeezes.

My sweet baby girl.

I miss her so much. She was my best friend, and I have a feeling that she would have loved Isaac just as much as I do.

With the necklace in hand, I walk over to the bathroom mirror and put it on. A shiver runs through me when my fingers brush against the pendent. My breath is shaky and uneven as the realization that Isaac kept a part of her for me, crashes into me all at once.

No one has ever done anything like this for me.

My eyes squeeze shut and the tears fall before I can stop them. Is it possible to hold on to a feeling forever? I’ve never had anyone love me like this before, and I never want to forget this moment.

My stomach reminds me that I haven’t eaten in hours, and I am starving. Doritos and cottage cheese sounds so good right now. I grab my purple silk robe hanging next to the door and wrap it around myself as I exit the bedroom.

Making my way down the stairs and to the kitchen, I open the fridge and find what I’m looking for. I scoop the cottage cheese onto my plate, but halfway through, I pause. My grip on the spoon tightening as I look out to the woods.

Something feels…off.

I can’t shake the horrible feeling that someone is out in the dark, watching me. I know Isaac said the security system is on, but my stomach still sinks.

Shaking my head, I try and push the thought aside, turning my attention back to my snack. I’m just being paranoid right now. My feelings are heightened with everything that has happened in the past twenty-four hours.

That’s all.

I grab my plate of Doritos and cottage cheese and take it to the living room. When I enter the room, my hands go weak.

The plate crashing to the floor, sending food splattering into my feet and walls.

No. It can’t be.

The figure sits in the chair next to the fireplace. Shadows dancing across his face. He reclines back and crosses his ankle over his knee. Draping his arms across the back of the chair, he smiles.

“Hello Little Flower. It’s been a while.”
