Her Wounded Biker

I came to this small town for a temporary teaching job, not to play hero. But it’s impossible to ignore the shadow in my eight-year-old student’s eyes.

My gut tells me she’s in trouble, and the moment I meet her guardian, I know I’m right. Tatted, grumpy, and let’s not talk about the motorcycle that sounds as hostile as he looks. Total criminal.

So I make a plan: I’ll get close, uncover his secrets, and get my student to safety. I am, of course, a master of subtlety.

The problem is, my brilliant investigation keeps revealing things I’m not prepared for. And the more I spend time with him, the more I see glimpses of a man I don’t expect.

Then there’s the inconvenient, scorching heat between us that’s melting my very logical mission.

My goal is to save an innocent girl from this criminal. That’s it. But how can I do that when I’m starting to think the man I cast as the villain might be the one I should be saving?
