Chapter 38 #3

Xavier gripped my chin making me look up to him, his eyes still red and full of need.

“I hope you can take more, because I’m not ready to be finished yet,” he growled, not leaving me any time to respond, layering my body with kisses all over, before he lifted me up, leaving me to straddle his right thigh.

His cock was swollen and resting against his core, his shadow lines even more prominent right now, and my fingertips itched to stroke over them.

“Such a precious sight,” Xavier murmured against my face, grazing through the strands of my hair.

“I want you to ride my thigh, baby,” he demanded, before giving me a soft smack on my ass.

My arms gripped Xavier’s shoulders, his eyes on me as he guided my hips to move against him.

The slickness of my pussy coating his leg and I couldn’t help the needy whimpers escaping my mouth, as Xavier started to stroke his cock in front of me.

It was like only the two of us existed at that very moment.

Each grind against his thigh was another push closer to the edge.

“You’re so perfect,” he praised, layering my collarbone and chest in so many kisses.

All of a sudden, I felt a soft grip against my chin, Damien’s lips crashing against mine. “So pretty like this,” he murmured as he sucked one of my nipples, stroking with his tongue in soft motions.

Behind me, soft and slender fingers ghosted down my spine, the edge of something almost like a scarf brushed around my wrists before it looped around me, binding my hands together. The material was loose enough to make me move.

“My goddess, aren’t you?” Malakai’s voice brushed against my ear, layering my back in kisses, as Xavier’s hand kept moving me against him.

Heat flushed across my skin, the way they loved me so deeply.

A shiver ran down my spine, as I felt an ice cube against my collarbone, a hiss slipping past me. My chest immediately lifted toward the cold of the ice cubes; the ones Damien’s kept in his hand.

Where did he get those from?

“Look at you,” Xavier stated, gripping my chin to force my eyes up to him.

“So desperate with your sweet little whimpers… but I don’t want to waste this precious essence.

” His fingers swiping off my release from his thigh.

The mere sight of his tongue twirling around his fingers caused the ache between my legs to form again.

Then I felt Damien’s fingers inside my pussy, and my body arched toward his hand. As he took out his two fingers and licked at them as well, I noticed how something which had seemed to be so ordinary to someone else, was the most natural feeling in the world.

“You’re so precious, my love.”

Xavier turned me around, so I was straddling his lap reverse now, his cock pressing against my behind. “I’ll take you now,” he whispered against my ear, his fingers stroking over my back entrance. I exhaled slowly; the sensation unbearable.

“This pussy is so pretty, and I still need a taste,” Malakai muttered, his fingers stroking against it, as Xavier started thrusting into my tight hole.

“You’re so beautiful… you know that?” Damien’s voice purred beside my ear as he circled my nipples.

Each thrust of Xavier was in unison with the strokes of Malakai’s tongue against my clit, while Damien kept kissing my face like I was the most fragile thing he owned.

I’d never felt so good, but also tired at the same time. Even my thighs twitched involuntarily, my chest rising and falling in short breaths.

“You are practically glowing, my little robin,” Malakai whispered against my ear, his soft lips brushing from my neck down to my shoulders. “Like a phoenix.”

Xavier gently eased himself from me, cupping my cheek with softness, brushing a tear away I hadn’t realized I had shed. “You did so wonderful, you took us all so well,” he whispered softly in between small kisses against my skin.

Malakai was already at my side, wrapping a plush warm towel around my body, lifting me like I was made of porcelain. “You are trembling, come here love,” he murmured, concerned as he carried me to the bathroom.

Damien knelt at the edge of the floor, his eyes full of awe and devotion. “You gave us everything, we don’t deserve you,” he praised me again, brushing damp strands from my hair.

As soon as I was clean again, Malakai embraced me in his arms, carrying me back to the bed.

“I’m so tired,” I confessed softly. Malakai chuckled against my face, pressing a soft kiss on my forehead.

“I know… I can see,” Xavier murmured, amused, grazing his lips against my forehead.

My stomach growled… “But you are also hungry it seems… so we need to take care of that before you rest.” Before I could reply, Xavier stormed out of the room.

Malakai stroked his fingers over my back, as Damien kissed my hand. Both of them were still naked and just as spent as me. “Breathe…” Malakai ordered softly against my skin, massaging my neck softly.

Only a minute later, Xavier came back with a huge silver tray in his hands.

I blinked; my lips parting, confused. Wait, was this vanilla buttercream?

Xavier grinned at me, as if he sensed my excitement over the cake.

“Your body needs some sugar after we’ve drained every drop of your sweet essence from you,” he said, positioning himself beside me as he fed me the cake. The sweet cream was melting on my tongue.

My gaze was on Xavier, who kept feeding me like I was some fragile little thing. I loved when he pampered me. “What about you?” I asked, my gaze drifting between Malakai and Damien before coming back to Xavier.

“Nothing will ever be as delicious as you,” Damien whispered as he stroked over the sensitive skin of my thigh. “And you know I’ll prefer the sweet dessert between your legs any day over cake.”

My face reddened and although I was tired from all the lovemaking, there was still this part of me left needing more. I guess it was part of the bond.

“We have all the time in the world,” Xavier suddenly said, letting me know he read my thoughts. “You get everything you need, and we are yours just as much as you are mine.”

“You mean ours, Xavier,” Damien murmured, his tone annoyed, his fingers grazing my shoulders. The feathers of Malakai’s wings brushed over my bare chest, a silent way of letting him show me his hold over me.

Xavier smirked at Damien, but he also didn’t correct his mistake. I knew from all my mates… he was the most possessive one and yet he was willingly open to share me. They all were, because they loved me. They did it for me selflessly.

After a few more bites and one gulp of water, my body started to relax even further. I was getting so sleepy.

Xavier placed the rest of the cake on the dresser, before one of his arms draped across my waist, stroking through my hair.

Damien grazed softly against my leg while my body was nuzzled into Malakai, his heat enveloping me from behind, as the feathers of his soft wings kept brushing against my skin.

All of them whispered soft praises into my skin, each touch a promise, a lullaby. The scent of them surrounding me, the rhythm of their breathing slowly guiding me back to peace. Wrapped in their warmth, I’ve never felt so safe, so loved and so worshipped.

“Rest my love, we’ve got you,” Damien whispered, caressing my cheek. I closed my eyes, about to fall asleep as Xavier pressed his lips one last time against mine, a silent reminder of his devotion for me.

Before I slipped into the best sleep of my life.

It was hours later when I woke up, still feeling every one of them pressed against me.

Their scent, their touch, so warm and comforting.

I could spend eternity in this bedroom with all of them together and still crave more.

My heart still raced with the memory of what had happened just hours before.

My gaze drifted around my room, and I couldn’t help but admit how talented Sparrow was at decorating it.

Every detail felt like it had been plucked from a faerie’s dream, from the lamps shaped like blooming flowers to the delicate pink shimmering walls and furniture curled with vines and pearls.

Probably the sweetest element of the entire room was the pair of angel wings attached over my vanity, a symbol of the guardian watching over me.

I felt Damien’s fingers trailing along my bare legs until he took my leg in his hand pressing a soft kiss on my knee. “Are you okay?” His voice was concerned as his fingers stroked along my skin. I sensed how his healing ability spread through me, the soreness lightening.

“Yes,” I replied, my head still pressed tightly against Malakai’s chest. My voice was still drunk in sleep as my angel gripped my chin softly, taking my face between his hands.

“You’re tired,” he stated, grinning. “Or should I say more worn-out than tired, since you have slept already?” I smiled as he pressed soft kisses against my chin and neck.

“Well, she begged for us. This sweet little body of yours was so greedy, right?” Xavier asked, amused at my disheveled state, giving my ass a soft smack. “Or aren’t you tense?”

“Is this a joke after what we just did…?”

The edges of his lips curved into an amused grin as he buried his face into the crook of my neck, his lips leaving feather light kisses along my skin. Each one seemed to be a quiet apology of how rough he had been with me, although I never felt unappreciated or unloved.

I hesitated, my legs still slightly trembling with what we had just shared last night, yet unable to hide what I wanted. “Can we… do this again sometime?”

Xavier lifted his head, eyes gleaming with mischief. “Is this a question… or a command?”

I smiled, but the moment cracked as I glanced toward Damien who had suddenly gone still.

His silver eyes were glazed, unfocused, like he wasn’t in the room with us anymore. None of us dared to speak, barely breathing, watching as something gripped him from the inside out. Damien looked almost haunted… no words, no movements.

What was happening?

I loved him with every fiber being of myself and I wasn’t afraid of his powers. I could never be afraid of any of my mates. It just made me sad that he carried the side effects of his legacy alone.

Damien’s body suddenly started to tremble and then he stumbled back, his head against the headboard, his eyes slowly opening again.

Before I could ask what had happened, he caught me in his arms. It was so fast, almost desperate as he was crushing me against his chest. Damien’s body was trembling violently, his breath raged, as though he’d just surfaced from whatever place his mind had been drowning in. His heart pounded heavily against mine.

His hands… gods, his hands were shaking. I’d never seen Damien shake this much. He was always the calm in my storm of emotions, despite being the God of Storms himself.

“You felt something, didn’t you?” Malakai’s voice was low, cautious, as if he was afraid to speak his feelings out loud. “She is here.” He didn’t say her name, but we all knew who he meant.

Xavier’s eye darkened into a shade so deep, so impossibly red, they looked like they were bleeding from rage. His entire body tensed, his jaw clenched so tight, I thought he might shatter his own teeth. The shadows around him responded instinctively, coiling around him.

He turned to me and cupped my face, gently brushing his forehead against mine. “You are with us,” Xavier murmured, like a vow whispered into my flesh. “Don’t fear her. Not while we are breathing.”

I nodded slowly, looking over to my angel. Malakai was already moving, buckling a kind of vest over his chest.

“How many soldiers do you think she bought with her?” His voice was filled with panic.

My hands yearned to reach out to him, to tell him—to plead with him to stay here. But I knew he wouldn’t.

Damien didn’t speak. He just stood up, my body still tightly nuzzled in his arms, as he looked outside the window. His beautiful gaze focused on the surroundings like he was sensing something we couldn’t.

Then his voice dropped to a whisper. “Alone. She came alone.”

Malakai’s hands stilled on the buttons of his pants, as Xavier stepped closer to the window.

“Alone?” Xavier asked. “Why would she?”

No one dared to breathe too loudly.

“I don’t know, all I sense is her magic.”

“I’ll talk with Sparrow. We need Seth here,” Xavier stated, storming out of the room.

I had so many questions, but none of them left my lips.

All I felt were Damien’s fingertips brushing over my back, my head resting against his chest. The candles in the room flickered as a gust of air swept through the room, and yet the windows were still closed.

And then… a ripping sound, like reality itself had been split open.

Was this the Veil of Carnivalland?

And suddenly, the last candle in the room went out.

The shadows of something dark had crept inside our home.
