Epilogue

Then there seemed to be the revelation of the Nightmare Bringer, because what they used to fear had transformed itself into more than they ever could have imagined…

Awoken in flames and fire, risen from the ashes.

A new revelation would be spoken.

One that should ensure that kingdoms that had remained silent for centuries would begin to arm themselves.

The nightmare bringer they had feared for so long was the heir of Merlin. A descendant able to create portals through time and dreams.

Just like the one their bond had created beneath the Ancient Springs, the one started to rise, in a room too small, ending in a tiny wardrobe with a tale of Wonderland tangled inside.

And then, their bond had been fulfilled, the human was brought back to her faerie form by fate.

While in all of these centuries people had been fearing the wrong ones, the ones that lived in madness, rather than being driven by power and greed.

And yet, they were the ones needed to lead.

But at that moment, they didn’t yet know what was to come.

For now, the phoenix and his master had awakened, and they would not rest until the tides were back in harmony.
