DAX
Void scooped me up, and I automatically wrapped my legs around his waist until he slammed me against a car.
With a grunt, I relaxed my legs around him as he started to pull at my pants which were stiff with blood and grime from the day.
Need rose in me as I simultaneously went for the opening in his pants, popping the button and ripping the zipper open to free his cock.
In seconds, he was thrusting into me, shoving me against the door of an SUV, making it rock with his movement.
“Fucking hell, little demon, you feel like heaven,” Void muttered as he buried his face in my neck.
He pounded into me, grunting with his need as I gasped, loving the feeling of him deep inside me, rearranging my guts in the best way.
I kept one hand wrapped around the back of his neck as I watched the world through half-lidded eyes.
There was no fucking way I was stopping this, but we needed to be aware there was still a war going on.
The danger just added to the rush we both were feeling after spilling so much blood together in the name of protecting our people.
The sound of gunfire was close, making Void falter, but I kicked him in the ass and ground down on him.
“You better not stop,” I growled into his ear. “I’ll deal with whatever happens because it’s not getting in the way of me coming.”
Void shifted me so he hit at a new angle, and I couldn’t keep quiet as I shouted my enjoyment, calling out his name loudly. “Fuck yes, Void!”
“That’s right, little demon, let the world know how we revel in each other and the blood of our enemies,” Void panted. “They will not stop us from taking what we want when we want it.”
His hips sped up as we both were reaching our climax, my nails biting into his neck as his hands bruised my hips.
Just as my orgasm flooded my body, I spotted a biker coming to check out the noise we were making.
Without a second thought, I grabbed a knife from Void’s belt and threw it at the onlooker, hitting him right in the heart.
“Fucking bastard,” I yelled. “You’re lucky you died so quickly after ruining my orgasm! ”
Chuckling against my jaw, Void pulled his hips back enough to slip a hand between us and pinch my clit, thrusting his spent cock into me.
The combination sent me reeling into a second orgasm, and this one I got to enjoy without interruption.
We held each other for a moment, catching our breath and grinning at each other.
Our crazy asses just had a quicky in the middle of a war between two biker gangs—it was official, we were off our rockers.
Pulling ourselves together, Void suggested we head back to the rest of the group. “It doesn’t sound like there’s much action going on, and it would be best to send out the final sweep with all of us.”
“Right behind you, big guy,” I answered with a wink.
We cleaned up a few more stragglers along the way, but the sound of fighting dissipated as we made it back behind the wall of vehicles.
What we found waiting for us was a bit of a surprise, but I really shouldn’t have been seeing as Dante was involved.
There, standing with his foot on someone’s chest, was an old man wearing a godawful checkered suit with a fedora.
The man—correction, teen on the ground—was swearing and spitting as he fought to get up, but with his hand behind him and pressure holding him down, he wasn’t going anywhere.
“You fucking bastard. What are you, some superhuman grandpa? You let me up right now, or Eagle is going to blow your head off for doing this to me!”
My brows raised as I looked up at Void, hoping he could fill me in on what was going on. Void frowned, and I saw a second of hesitation from him before he stormed forward, ready to yank Dante off his prey. The spry old man darted out of the way, ready to fight until he saw who it was.
“Oh goodness me, I thought you were one of the others who was going to pick a fight,” Dante shared, relaxing and brushing off invisible dirt from his clothes. Then he caught sight of me, and a smile broke out on his old weathered-looking face. “Hello, sweet child, it’s been ages.”
“Dante, do I even want to ask what’s going on?” I muttered as I watched Void pick up the teen off the ground.
Dante took the hat off and started to peel off the latex from his face as well as the hideous mustache he’d put on along with the bushy gray eyebrows. “Sugar, I’m doing exactly what you asked me to do and find the mole.”
“I’m confused. I already shot a man who claimed to be selling me out to the Mad Dogs,” I explained.
“Yes, well, it seems there were two moles, but only one of them was working for Marco. The old man was just bitter and didn’t like seeing a cute little thing like you wearing the pants in the relationship.
I’ll never understand why men feel so threatened by a good strong woman, but then again, I’m not the best to have an opinion on the subject being a flamboyant man myself,” Dante rambled as he removed the last parts of his cover.
“Wait, are you saying Demetri is the mole?” Void snapped. “On what grounds?”
Dante started to speak, but I cut him off, turning to Void. “From your reaction alone, I think we need to have the rest of the guys here for this. Dante, do you know where they went?”
“They’ve been off dealing with the riffraff like you.
I didn’t realize I needed to keep track of them, darlin’,” Dante simpered.
“Trust me, if I’d known I had a chance to be glued to Weston’s side, I would have.
Just think how thrilling it would be to be saved by him, so strong and Lord, he’s gotten more muscles.
But that new man of yours, the delicious Hispanic bad boy you’ve been keeping hidden from me, he’s just delightful too. ”
Groaning, I looked around the area and spotted Sprocket appearing around the back of an SUV.
I let out a whistle that caught his attention and waved him over.
The stormy expression and the way his body was coiled with anger told me I was in deep shit.
This wasn’t a side I’d ever seen from him, and I was betting this was the man who got revenge for Donald and managed to live on the streets as a sixteen-year-old boy.
Void was a scary bastard, don’t get me wrong, but he gave off waves of danger as a warning.
Sprocket’s dark side lived deep under the surface, and my guess is it would take a lot to make it surface.
He must have been with the others since they also showed up right behind him and spotted me with pissed-off expressions.
None as worrisome as Sprocket, but I think they knew he’d be enough to get the point across.
The man in question ignored everything until he got to me and grabbed me around the throat.
His hold was firm, but I wasn’t in danger of choking.
His green eyes blazed with anger and worry as he searched my face.
“You, little rebel, are in so much trouble, I don’t think you’ll understand the depths of it,” Sprocket said, his voice soft and even but full of ice.
“First, you put your life in danger when you could have left the abandoned building rigged to blow the fuck up, then you decided to disable the bomb in a manner that could have electrocuted you with enough power to stop your heart.” I frowned and wanted to argue that point, not to mention ask how he knew that, but one look told me to save it for later.
“Just when I think you’ve used up enough of your lives for the day, you jump out of a motherfucking helicopter right into the middle of the enemy.
Finally, you take off alone into the thick of a gunfight, playing some fucked-up version of laser tag with Void. ”
Sprocket had to take a few breaths, closing his eyes for a moment as he centered himself before continuing.
“You’re grounded, Dax Rose Blackmore, until further notice.
You are not allowed to go anywhere alone or do anything that could put your life in danger.
If we have to handcuff you to us, then by God, I’ll do it.
My heart can’t take this. You have no regard for your own life and in doing so means you don’t give a shit about ours.
Does it even cross your mind what it would be like if we lost you?
Think how you felt when you thought Eagle was dead.
That, Miss Blackmore, is how each and every one of us would feel, if not worse, in Weston and Cameron’s case.
If I need to force you to understand that your life has meaning to us and many other people, I’ll do so by any means necessary. Do I make myself clear?”
I didn’t even know where to begin processing what Sprocket was saying to me. He was speaking so rationally, but the words coming out of his mouth would make any sane woman freak the fuck out. All I could do was nod dumbly since I didn’t have an argument for that.
“I’m aware that even though I’ve explained this, we all need to remind you countless times, so it’s a good thing we’re going to be in your life forever,” Sprocket stated before he slammed his lips to mine in a vicious kiss.
It was anything but sweet and loving—it was dominant and forced me to submit to his hold on me.
Just as quickly as he started it, he pulled back never once letting go of my throat.
“For the rest of today, you’re going to be in Cameron’s care since he can outsmart you as you adjust to your punishment. ”
“The fuck?” I blurted, my brain finally catching up to what Sprocket told me. “You can’t ground me, I’m a motherfucking adult.”
“Not from what I’ve seen, little rebel,” Sprocket answered, nipping my bottom lip and releasing his hold. He turned to Dante. “Now would you like to explain to me what Eagle and Picasso’s nephew is doing tied up, Grandpa?”
