8. Harper #2

I’d been on my own for the most part, an only child with grandparents who didn’t know what was happening outside of their soap operas and Scrabble games.

I was loved and given all that I could need in the way of my physical needs, but emotionally, they were mourning the loss of their daughter.

I don’t think they ever got over it, and seeing as I was a clone of my mother, I was a reminder of what they lost. Besides them, Dax and Wes were my family and the only people I trusted to look after me at this point.

Over and over, people in the fashion industry proved they only saw me as worth their time if they could get something from it.

Everything was contingent on looks, wealth, and connections which I didn’t have—besides the looks department.

I refused to be that woman, though. I wasn’t going to get ahead in life with my body. It was going to be because of my work.

Now here were these crazy men offering me more than a vacation from myself. They wanted me—mind, body, and soul. Every time they pressed me like this, it wasn’t just them asking for permission for whatever action was happening at the moment. They were asking for forever.

“What happens if I say yes, then we find out this won’t work?

” I countered, my anxiety filling my head with every moment a man walked away from me after I gave them something of myself.

“I’m not like Dax. I’m not the confident woman who can make people bow before me.

I’m the wing woman who fixes crowns and offers support, but I’m not main-character material in this story. She is.”

Jaxson’s hand snapped out and grabbed my chin, squeezing it hard.

“I don’t ever want to hear you say bullshit like that again, do you hear me?

Stop living in Dax’s shadow. We met Dax first, but then when we saw you, everything changed.

Yeah, Dax is a force to be reckoned with, but that’s not at all what we want from our woman.

The three of us see the darkness in the world every day.

We live in the shadows, hidden with blood covering our hands. You want to know what we see in you?”

He paused, waiting for me to answer, to which I nodded as much as his hand would allow.

“You, Harper Lynn Peirson, are pure sunshine, the light in the darkness that reminds us there is good in the world. It’s clear you don’t see the value in having a big heart for those you claim as your people.

You are loyal to a fault, thinking of others before yourself.

You want to create beauty in the world through fashion and help others feel beautiful in their own skin.

We’ve seen your appointments with your clients, watching how you interact with them.

Every time we learned something new about you, we fell deeper under your spell. ”

Tears welled up in my eyes and rolled down my cheeks, hearing words no one’s ever told me before.

How is it possible that these three men could see me so clearly when no one else ever had? “That’s how you see me?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

He let go of my chin and brushed away my tears. “Those are the things I could think of off the top of my head, gorgeous. If you give me time, I could fill a whole book with the things I’ve come to love about you.”

“I want you to know how much of an unfair advantage you have in this entire situation. You know my whole life, but I don’t know anything about you three,” I grumbled with a sniffle as I wiped at my eyes.

“Then ask. There is nothing we will keep hidden from you, Harper. We want you to know us just as well as we know you, but I’ll warn you the answers to your questions might not always be what you want to hear.

We are not good men, but we are men who love the fuck out of you,” Jaxson stated as he pulled me to him, placing a gentle kiss on my lips.

“Say yes, let us love you the way only men with no morals can. Let us lose ourselves in you, and I promise you won’t regret it. ”

“Okay,” I answered, letting my answer caress his lips before they stole the air from my body.

Losing myself to his attention, I wrapped my legs around him, holding him tight to me.

Surging forward, he picked me up and flipped us around so I was lying on my back on the bench, and he was kneeling between my legs.

A gasp escaped my lips as he slid his cock inside me without any warning, but I was more than ready to take him.

What surprised me more was when he started to lather on the shaving cream.

“Ah…” I started pushing up on my elbows. “You can’t be doing what I think you’re going to do.”

“If you think I am going to fuck you as I shave this perfect pussy, then you’d be right,” Jaxson answered with a smirk as he picked up the razor. “Trust me.”

I couldn’t take my eyes off the razor as he started at the top and ever so carefully worked down one section.

Each time he lifted the razor to rinse it off in the cup of water, he would thrust into me a time or two, but the moment the blade touched my skin, he stopped.

Everything about this was agonizingly wonderful and completely out of my comfort zone.

When he finished all he could do from that angle, he pulled out, making me whimper with the loss.

“On your knees, gorgeous, it’s time to make sure this ass is ready for us to use as well as your pussy,” Jaxson instructed.

This went much quicker and without him thrusting into me, but he’d been edging me the whole time he shaved the front that I was on the verge of begging.

After he was done with my ass, he pulled me down onto his cock and fucked me hard and fast. It didn’t take long at all for me to come, sobbing at the relief of finally being allowed to tip over the edge into mind-blowing pleasure.

“Holy fuck!” I panted as Jaxson helped me to my feet and led me back under the water. “I swear there is no way you three can be human when you keep doing shit like that to me.”

Jaxson smiled as he ran the loofa over me once more, cleaning up what he’d left behind. “What can we say? We’ll do anything to ensure you won’t leave us. If that means years of mind-blowing sex, then that’s a burden we’ll have to bear.”

Shutting off the water, he wrapped me up in a towel and combed my hair while I stood at the sink watching him.

There was something to be said about men like Jaxson.

What had Magnus called him… ah yes, a caretaker.

A man who was fulfilled in taking care of their person was a whole new situation for me, but I could easily become addicted to it.

“All right, you two, Mag won’t let me eat without you, so if you don’t mind hurrying just a little, I’d appreciate it,” Ghost called from the bedroom.

“I thought you already had your meal this morning?” I called out, giggling to myself.

Ghost appeared in the doorway, hands on his hips as he looked at me in dismay. “Now, Harper Lynn, did you just make a dirty joke?”

Biting my lip, I shrugged. “Could be that I did… guess it depends on if you thought it was funny or not.”

“It was hilarious,” Ghost said, cracking a huge smile he’d been trying to hide the whole time, then sighed dramatically.

“But to answer your question, we mere mortal men can’t live on the nectar of the goddess alone.

Wish it wasn’t the case so I could eat you any time I wanted, but them’s the breaks.

Now put something on. Or don’t. Up to you, but food is on the table. ”
