34. Harper #3
Magnus turned on me, gripping my throat with his hand in a firm grip. “Do you see what you’re wearing? I should kill everyone in this place for daring to see you like that. You are ours, Harper. No one gets to see your body but us.” He kissed me roughly, nothing about it tender and loving.
Breaking the kiss, he released my throat and brought me over to a wall covered with various places to tie someone to it. Taking my hands, he bound them in leather cuffs, then raised them to be hooked to a chain above my head. I wasn’t quite on my tippy toes, but it was close.
“Magnus, what are we doing?” I asked, a quiver in my voice.
He picked up a wide leather paddle and tested it on his hand before giving me his attention. “I told you, doll, the repercussions of breaking the rules weren’t going to be something you enjoyed. Would you rather my hand or a paddle? I will give you that choice.”
“Umm, I choose neither,” I shot back.
“I’m sorry, doll, but you need to understand what could have happened here tonight.
I know this doesn’t make sense and seems like I don’t love you by treating you this way, but choices have consequences,” Magnus explained as he brushed the back of his finger along my cheek.
“There will only be two marks left on your ass tonight, but I need you to remember the cost of your actions.”
“This doesn’t make sense,” I argued. “They dragged me down here and forced me into this outfit. I even managed to find Prim. How can you be so angry?”
“Because what you should have done is hidden and let us find you. Instead, you paraded around in this, letting others see what is for us alone as your husbands-to-be. We knew where Prim was and would have had her out, but then you went back there, drawing the attention of one man we can’t afford to cross right now.
Harper, you put yourself in far more danger than you ever needed to, and that is why I’m upset,” Magnus said, his last words ending in a whisper as his face betrayed just how scared he’d been.
“I can’t lose you. If anything had happened, I would have burned this whole place down with me in it.
Without you by my side, there is nothing to live for.
So even if it might make you hate me or you feel betrayed by this action, I can live with that because you will be alive to feel those emotions. ”
He stepped back and lifted my dress, exposing my ass to him.
I took a deep breath as the first hit landed.
It stung but in no way did I feel he was using his full strength.
I knew that wasn’t the point. He wasn’t doing this to hurt me but to own up to the choices I’d made tonight.
It was true. I could have hidden in the shadows and waited for them to find me.
Instead, I thought I knew best and put myself in danger.
The second impact fell on my other ass cheek, making it smart, but soon it was rubbed away with a caress of his hand.
The whisper of a zipper being undone told me what was coming next, and I widened my legs for him.
He thrust into me all at once as he reached through my dress to cup my breasts.
“This body belongs to us,” he murmured against the back of my neck as he thrust into me.
“No one gets to hear your moans or see the face you make when we play with your nipples. These are moments meant for us between husband and wife.”
Magnus fucked me hard and fast as he kissed every part of my body, whispering sweet words of undying love.
I let it all wash over me, knowing that I’d disappointed them all, but they loved me enough to forgive me as well as make me face the choice I’d made.
They would love me completely, and doing so meant they wouldn’t let me become a person I didn’t want to be.
Tonight I’d tried to be like Dax, to run with the big dogs, but that wasn’t what I wanted to be, not really.
Eventually, I would find my place, but this wasn’t it, and he helped me realize that.
We came together with a shout, his cum filling me as I squeezed him tightly, pulling everything he had to give me out of his body.
Our heavy breathing was the only sound in the room as I could feel his heartbeat in time with mine.
These men were right, I was theirs, and they were mine in every way that mattered.
Magnus released me, and I took a moment to clean up in the small bathroom they had attached.
When I came back out, Magnus tossed me my white dress.
“How?”
“Get dressed. We’re getting the fuck out of here and going home where we can start to plan the rest of our life together,” Magnus instructed.
“What about Prim?” I asked, tugging my dress back on, thankful to be fully clothed once more.
He took my hand and led me further down the hall of rooms. At the end was a door with an exit sign which he kicked open, setting off the alarm. Picking me up bridal style, Magnus charged up the steps, bursting out into a back alley. A black SUV was running with a door open as if waiting for us.
Jaxson rolled down the front passenger window and waved at us. “Get the fuck in here. We got to go!”
Magnus tossed me in first, then quickly followed, slamming the door as Ghost squealed out of the alley onto the road.
We were finally going home.
