Chapter 7 Keep Out of Bedroom
The more I listened to the water in the bathroom, the more panicked my heart got.
Just as I nervously tried to stand and get a glass of water, Zhou Zhi'an walked out wrapped in a bath towel.
I heard myself swallow.
"Y-you, why aren't you wearing clothes!"
I hurriedly looked away.
"I didn't dry off. Clothes feel uncomfortable."
After that short explanation, Zhou Zhi'an walked toward me. "Yunyun, can I sleep with you tonight?"
I refused without hesitation. "No."
The bedroom was full of Pheromone scent! If I let Zhou Zhi'an in, what if he found out!
When he heard my answer, Zhou Zhi'an's bright eyes dimmed at once.
"It's been so long since we lay down together. You clearly promised me that after the exam we'd travel and stay together for a while."
His voice sounded wronged.
My heart was full of apology too.
Back then I had only wanted to tease him, get him away with me, and make it a done deal.
Then this sudden accident cut off every plan I had.
"If we stay together, I'm afraid you won't sleep well. You know my sleeping posture has always been bad."
I stumbled through an excuse.
Anyway I couldn't let him into my room!
"It's fine. Like I don't know your sleeping posture."
Zhou Zhi'an's words left me stuck.
Before Differentiation in middle school, we often slept in the same bed. Even after he went through Differentiation, we still lay together sometimes.
I kept finding excuses.
In the end he finally went to the guest room, looking wronged.
I escaped in a hurry too.
He had given off quite a bit of Pheromone without meaning to.
I had to take a Suppressant pill fast.
I had to keep from being affected. Staying with a top Alpha, my willpower had to hold.
