As the function came to end , everyone was going home with their boyfriends...well i don't have one . So I called Raj to pick me up but guess what he said he's busy.
I was standing in the footpath looking for cab when suddenly a black car pull infront of him
I was shocked at first thinking it someone thug but my eyes widen when the car's mirror pull down revealing Mr. Khadoos.
"Ghar Jana hai?" He asked me , his voice still in a authorative and firm tone.
(Going home?)
Ghar nahi toh kya Mars pe jana hai? I think to myself but didn't say it because I know very well that if I say this he's gonna give me more hard Maths to slove as his revenge.
(If not home then where? Mars?)
Instead I smile and nodded.
I thought he'd leave me alone after getting his answer but he Open the front door instead. I look between the open door and him
Confusion growing in my head.
"Get in" he order leaving no room for argument. As it was getting late and Raj said he wouldn't come so i didn't Refuse Mr. Khadoos and get in his Car.
The moment I settled into the seat, the door closed with a soft click, sealing my fate.
The silence in the car was thick, only the soft hum of the engine filling the space as he started driving. I dared a glance at him. One hand on the steering wheel, the other resting casually, his jaw clenched, eyes on the road like he owned it.
Maybe..he did, who knows.
"Thank you!" I said my voice more like a whisper as like I was almost wishing that he couldn't hear my thanks.
But guess what? That Mr.khadoos didn't even glance back at me. Wow Maya aur karne jao 'Thank you '
(Wow Maya go and say Thank you more )
I rolled my eyes and turned to stare out of the car window. The cool night breeze flowed through the slight gap, brushing against my skin and playing with the loose strands of my hair. I shut my eyes off and everything went blank.
As I was driving, my gaze shifted to her for a brief second and stilled.
She had fallen asleep.
Her head rested lightly against the window, eyes closed, lips parted slightly in the soft rhythm of her breathing. The faint glow of the streetlights highlighted her face, making her look... peaceful. Innocent. Almost childlike.
The sharp contrast between her usual fiery self and this calm, sleeping version of her caught me off guard.
Her usual sarcastic remarks, that spark in her eyes when she argued, the way she rolled her eyes at everything I said-it was all gone, replaced by a kind of serenity I hadn't seen before.
And somehow... I liked this side of her too.
A small smile tugged at the corner of my lips without permission.
I slowed the car a little.
No reason to rush, right?
Not when the night was quiet, the roads nearly empty, and she was here-next to me, unaware of the storm she created inside me just by being herself.
I gripped the steering wheel a bit tighter, forcing my eyes back to the road. But every few seconds, my gaze was drawn back to her.
How could someone like her-messy, stubborn, unpredictable-make me want to keep driving forever just to steal a few more minutes in her presence?
I didn't have the answer. But tonight, I wasn't in a hurry. Let the drive last a little longer.
Let her sleep a little more.
Because for now... this was enough.
And maybe, just maybe, I didn't want the night to end.
I took a longer route, purposely avoiding the main road. The city lights flickered outside, casting fleeting shadows inside the car, and still-she didn't stir.
Her head tilted slightly, her hair brushing against her face. Instinctively, I reached out, tucking a loose strand behind her ear before I even realized what I was doing.
Her skin felt warm against my fingertips.
I pulled my hand back quickly, fingers curling into a fist on my lap. What the hell was I doing? This wasn't me. I wasn't the type to soften, to linger, to... feel.
And yet, here I was slowing down just to stay in this moment with her a little longer.
My Little Furball.
The name played in my mind again, and I shook my head, amused. She'd probably kill me if she ever found out I called her that in my head.
I glanced at her again.
Still asleep.
Still completely unaware of the mess she was making of me.
I never believed in this kind of pull toward someone. Never believed a girl, barely 5'5", with a sharp tongue and a habit of getting on my nerves, could make me want to give her the whole damn world without her even asking.
I sighed, my voice low as I muttered to myself,
"You have no idea what you're doing to me, do you?"
As if in response, she shifted slightly, her head now leaning closer to me, resting just a few inches away.
My heart stilled for a moment.
I should wake her up. I should keep my distance. I should remind myself of who I am what I am.
But I didn't.
Instead, I let the silence stretch, let the soft hum of the car and the city lights wrap around us like a secret I didn't want to share with anyone.
Because tonight, with her sleeping beside me in the passenger seat of my car, I wasn't the cold Maths professor.
Tonight... I was just a man, hopelessly, irreversibly drawn to a girl who didn't even know she already had me falling hard.
And I had a feeling... this was only the beginning.
