Chapter 15

Chapter Fifteen

Kira

To say I was nervous would have been an understatement!

What was I doing? I wasn’t a Little. This world was completely foreign to me. It wasn’t a place I belonged.

Yet there I was.

The dress I wore was a bit more modest than the one Trish had on. And I hadn’t selected a diaper, choosing instead to keep my “big girl” panties on.

Would Rex and Athena notice? That could be what finally tipped them off that this was all a lie.

Did it really matter, though? I’d have to tell them eventually anyway.

Right now, it appeared Rex wasn’t thinking about what I wasn’t wearing; he seemed amazed by what I was.

His obvious approval was enough to fuel me for a little while longer. But soon, I knew, we’d need to have that heart-to-heart chat.

“Well, it looks like you’re all ready to have some fun,” Athena told me. “You’re cute as can be, honey.”

“Thank you.”

“What are you going to do first?”

I thought about it for a moment and then answered, “I kind of want to hit the trampoline. That is, if Trish is down for it.”

“You bet! I can jump super high and do flips. Wanna see?”

“I’d love to.”

During the whole exchange, Rex never said anything, but he was watching me with intense interest. I wondered what was going through his mind.

Was he feeling the same pull toward me that I was toward him?

I half expected him to get off the stool and follow us outside, but as we walked out of the kitchen and into the den, he never came. I could feel his eyes on me, though, until I was out of sight and we were heading through the back door.

When we got outside, Trish giggled as she asked, “Rex is hot, huh?”

There was no reason to deny it, but I didn’t want to sound too eager as if I’d been obsessing over that since the second I laid eyes on him. So, I casually said, “Yeah. He’s nice-looking.”

“Uh-huh,” Trish said with a smirk she cast over her shoulder at me before getting onto the trampoline.

Okay, were my feelings—or rather the feelings I was developing—for Rex that obvious? The closer we became the harder it would be to tell him the truth.

Maybe I should run inside and tell him right now, I thought.

But I lost my nerve before I gave that idea any serious consideration.

Plus, I started having fun. I was self-conscious when I first climbed onto the trampoline and went through the slit on the black netting. But once I started bouncing, I realized just how awesome and freeing it was.

Most of my time back in New York was spent working. I didn’t exactly have the kind of money that allowed me to do fun things. Just trying to get by in the city took every dime—and all the time—I had. So, it felt good to let loose and just… play.

“You’re going so high!” Trish said. “Can you do a flip? Like this.”

She demonstrated, soaring high, doing a mid-air somersault, and then landing on her feet with a laugh.

“That’s awesome,” I told her. “Let me try.”

I didn’t have high hopes.

Turned out, I was right to doubt my ability. I faceplanted on the soft, bouncy surface, but thankfully it didn’t hurt.

“Ah, man. You’ll get there. Here, start by just practicing pulling your knees to your chest while in the air. You have to do it fast. It’s all about the timing. Like this.” Trish demonstrated a few times.

Getting up, I did the same. A few minutes later, I was feeling confident in my ability as I simply jumped up, brought my knees up, and then down, before landing on my feet.

“You’re getting it,” my new friend said. “Now, try the actual flip. Remember, tuck earlier than you think and fully commit to it.” She demonstrated.

“All right. I can do this.” I drew a deep breath and then gave it my best shot.

“I did it!” I yelled as I touched the trampoline once more. But I didn’t stay on my feet, instead losing my balance as I tumbled down. My dress was up past my waist, and I was acutely aware that my panties were showing as I heard Rex say, “That was quite a jump! Good job.”

Oh great! They weren’t even cute. Just plain comfy ones and not how I wanted him to see me partially undressed for the first time.

Springing up as quickly as possible, I lost my balance again and staggered back toward the slit on the black netting. Trying to grab the mesh and steady myself, I just ripped it and kept falling backward, out of the trampoline.

In all the commotion, my dress somehow got stuck on one of the metal poles and tore right along with the netting.

It stayed on the trampoline.

I didn’t.

By the time I landed in Rex’s arms, I didn’t have anything on but my bra and panties.

“Oh, fuck me!” I cried.

Rex grinned.

“I, uh, meant that as—you know—like a curse. Not as in, I want you to fuck me right here in the backyard or anything. That’s not it. I just meant, I was sort of—well, you know sometimes people say that when they’re… I don’t want you to fuck me or anything?—”

“Friend, maybe you should just stop saying words,” Trish said from the trampoline.

Rex was still smiling.

I groaned.

Oh, fuck me indeed.
