52~To A Lifetime Together X Epilogue #4

"I definitely will. See you soon."

They exchanged goodbyes before heading back to their hotel.

Both of them were exhausted from the day's activities.

However, the moment the door to their suite opened, every trace of fatigue vanished.

"Wow..." Hanan's eyes widened.

The room had been transformed into a romantic paradise.

Soft candlelight flickered across the suite, red rose petals decorated the floor and bed, fresh flowers filled the room with a sweet fragrance, while soothing instrumental music played quietly in the background.

The entire atmosphere radiated warmth and romance.

"You arranged all this?" She asked, turning to him in excitement.

"I did." He smiled. "Come, let's have dinner."

Pulling out a chair for her like a true gentleman, he waited until she was seated before taking his own seat opposite her.

Hanan couldn't stop smiling.

He poured them each a glass of sparkling juice before serving dinner onto their plates.

Throughout the meal, Hanan barely took her eyes off him.

Najib noticed.

"What is it?" He asked with a chuckle. "You've been staring at me all evening."

"Hmm..." She rested her chin on her palm, smiling softly. "I'm just wondering how you keep making me fall in love with you all over again."

A broad smile spread across Najib's face. "I can't help it." He reached across the table and held her hand.

"My goal is to give you countless reasons to keep loving me like I do. I want to spend the rest of my life making you smile, making you feel loved, and reminding you that marrying you was the best decision I've ever made."

Instead of replying, Hanan slowly rose from her chair.

Najib instinctively reached out and caught her hand before she could take another step.

"What is it?" Najib asked, glancing at her half finished plate of food. "Why are you leaving your food?"

"I'm full." She smiled, dabbing the corner of her lips with a napkin. "Give me a few minutes."

"Alright. I'll be waiting."

Hanan slipped into their bedroom, her heart beating faster than usual.

She had just finished showering and stood before the mirror, staring at the red lingerie folded neatly in her hands.

Amina and Amira's teasing words echoed in her mind, making her laugh under her breath.

"Calm down, Habiba." She whispered to her reflection. "He's your husband, so stop acting like you're about to sit for a difficult exam."

She took a deep breath, changed into the outfit, observed her curves in the mirror before wrapping herself in a bathrobe.

A gentle knock sounded on the bedroom door.

"Habibti?" Najib called. "You've been in there for quite a while. Is everything okay?"

"Yes." She replied quickly. "I'll be out in a minute."

After one last glance in the mirror, she smiled nervously and opened the door.

"There you are." Najib said with relief.

"I just finished freshening up."

"I can tell." He stepped toward her, but she smiled shyly and slipped past him.

"Your turn." She said. "I'll wait for you in the living room."

She didn't dare look back as she walked away, trying to ignore how fast her heart was racing.

Why am I suddenly this shy? She wondered.

They had already done this years ago and she wasn't this shy, so why tonight.

She settled onto the sofa with a glass of sparkling juice, listening to the soft music filling their suite while she waited for him, smiling to herself at the thought that this was the first evening of the new life they would build together.

She could hear the faint sound of his approaching footsteps echoing toward the living room.

Immediately, she put her glass down, and got out of her seat and headed straight for the Jacuzzi.

The warm water was already invitingly steamy.

Slipping off her bathrobe, she let it drop onto the floor before stepping into the tub, letting the heated water embrace her skin.

"Habibti?"

"I'm in here!" She gave him a small wave.

The second his eyes landed on her, Najib stopped.

His gaze lingered, traveling slowly over her body, taking in the view of the way the lace of her red lingerie clung to her wet skin.

Hanan felt a sudden flutter of every nerve in her body at his heavy gaze inspecting her. Her pulse quickened while a grin spread across his lips.

"Join me." She whispered turning her back to him.

Najib's smile widened as he didn't waste a second to strip off his bathrobe until he was only wearing his shorts, he stepped into the warm water, swam up to her, his hand held her waist turning her around.

Hanan closed her eyes briefly to steady her heart before opening them to meet his piercing, intense gaze.

"Hey." Najib whispered, drawing her in until there was no space left between them.

"Hi..." She whispered back, instinctively wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling him closer.

"I love what you're wearing." He murmured, his hands dipping into the water to settle on her waist.

"I'm glad you do. I was determined to look good for you tonight." She admitted softly, her confidence growing. "It's the least I could do after everything you've prepared for me."

As the water gently lapped around them, his hands began to roam over her wet, sensitive skin, leaving her skin tingling with a rush of excitement.

Shivers ran up her spine as she leaned in, her fingers lightly tracing his broad chest, grazing over his skin.

"I want us to discuss something." She whispered, looking up through her lashes.

"Now?" He whispered, leaning down to press light, lingering kisses along the curve of her neck. His warm lips against her damp collarbone made her breath hitch, a quiet sigh escaping her lips.

"Is it that important, Habibti?"

"Yeah... I plan on applying for law school next year. I really want to pursue my career."

"That's wonderful." He murmured between kisses, his touch sending more tingles straight down her spine.

"We'll look for the best law schools in London or America, wherever you want to go when you're ready."

"No, Najib... I want to study and practice law here, in Nigeria."

He pulled back slightly, his dark eyes searching hers before nodding softly.

"Whatever you want, Habibti. Don't hesitate. You know I'll support you through all of it."

"I know... and that's why I want you to lend me the money for my tuition."
