Chapter 16 #2

"There is no request too big or too small, little one. I am here and I am prepared to give you what you want, what you need. Only ask and it is yours."

Archer tucked his head under Romilly's chin and trailed his hands over Romilly's broad chest. "I really like the idea of spending the day with you, with us getting to know each other more and talking about this relationship.

I want—" Archer paused. "I want a full day of you being my Daddy to know what that's like and to understand what you need from me.”

Romilly kissed the top of his boy's head. "A Daddy day, huh? Sounds perfect to me. There is nothing more I would want. We can also get your things moved in here from the guest room. No reason for you to keep things there when I want you in my bed every night.”

Romilly was about to further explain his feelings when his bedroom door burst open. He scowled, wrapping the blanket they had across their laps around Archer's entire body, covering his skin from anyone who might see.

Archer giggled, amused to be cocooned in with his mate. That was when it hit Romilly who had dared enter his space. Eden stood at the edge of their bed, jaw slack, eyes wide, nostrils spread as he took in the mixed scent of the pair.

"Well, no wonder we couldn't find either of you. Been in here getting freaky."

"If you could refrain from your whatever this is, I'd appreciate it," Romilly said, voice droll.

"Honestly, do you think I could come in here, catch you two in bed together and not say something snarky? It's in my nature, in my blood. Who I am." Eden cocked his hip to the side, making Archer giggle, and Romilly rolled his eyes.

Siblings, they were always up to something. Well, Hadrian and Eden were. Soren got up to their own thing. It was just the Fae that were a problem there.

"To what do I owe the frustration of this visit?"

"I was looking for both of you," Eden said, and he rocked side to side, letting his arms swing. "Yeah, I was going to ask if Archer wanted to play with me, but it seems he's busy, and you're not at work, so that means you took off. So boring."

"Where's Hadrian?" Archer asked from his cocoon. He was trying to pull the blanket down, but Romilly refused to let his brother see any more of his mate than he already had.

"He's off doing something with Dad. They wouldn't take me, and they wouldn't tell me, so it's either go spend time with Mom, which is fine, you know, the whole clay thing. But I really just want to be Little for a bit."

"You know, if you had a Daddy, this would not be an issue," Romilly pointed out.

"You're a Little too?" Archer asked, having never put the pieces together.

Eden's eyes lit up, and he stepped closer to the bed. Romilly put a hand up. "You two can discuss that later when everyone is clothed, please and thank you."

Eden giggled, and Archer turned red, his cheeks glowing as he ducked under the blanket, hiding himself completely.

Eden shrugged, turning back to the subject of a Daddy. "I have been working on that. It's just taking longer than I thought. Stubborn men."

"Stubborn men," Romilly pointed out.

Eden looked down at his feet, then waved at his body before looking back up at Romilly. "Yes, men, because there’s so much of me to go around. Why have one when you can have more?"

"Is that not a bit greedy?" Romilly pointed out, teasing his younger brother.

All of Eden's life, he'd been told that he was greedy.

He always wanted the most cookies or to have the best score on something.

He could never be satisfied with the minimum.

There had to be a next level. Had to be more.

His hoard, his own personal hoard, was filled to the brim, and soon he would run out of room for his passions.

"If I'm greedy, then that's fine. I accept it about myself, and my Daddies will too."

"If you are sure," Romilly said, pausing to inquire one important fact. "This is not going to cause some type of international incident, will it? I do not want to have to be politically involved with who you bed. That could be a disaster.”

Eden shook his head. If Romilly didn't know his brother, he would have taken that as the final truth. But he could see the way he'd stopped moving the rest of his body. His normal constant sway and movement halted as he tried to make sure he wasn't visibly reacting to what Romilly said.

It seemed his brother was interested in someone who would be either an ally or a foe. Was it someone within the dragon Court? Hopefully not, considering how old and stuffy those people were. Could it be one of their children?

The royal family held the highest place in the horde, having the final say in all decisions with help from the Council.

Right below the Council was the dragon Court, a select group of families who had been around long enough to be influential to their community.

The eldest members of said families held seats in the Court, using their centuries of wisdom to teach and guide younger generations.

Romilly had to force himself to push the thoughts away.

There was no time to analyze the entire horde for who his brother might be interested in.

And honestly, it could be someone from another horde.

Eden was social. Despite not leaving the castle often, he had friends all over who he had made through different meetings and parties the family had hosted.

It was anyone's guess who Eden longed for.

But Romilly knew that it would be an interesting turn of events when the time came.

"If you do not mind, I would like to spend more time with my mate alone. So can you—" Romilly made a motion as if to direct Eden to leave.

His brother huffed. "Fine. I'll leave you two alone and go bug Belinda. Maybe she'll make me some cookies. Bye, Archer. Have fun in your little heated blanket thing. Don't worry about telling everyone, I'll let them know that you're not to be disturbed."

Eden ran from the room, shutting the door behind him with a thud.

Archer pulled his head out from the blanket, blinking and looking at Romilly with a scowl. "He's going to go tell everyone what we were in here doing?"

Romilly chuckled. "Little one, everyone probably already knows. I have a mental link to my family, and my dragon has probably boasted within it a few times already about how his mate is here and safe with him."

"Oh." Archer didn't seem relieved, but he also didn't appear upset.

"Do you want to get up and eat?" Romilly asked him. "We can have Belinda make something and someone bring it up, or we can go downstairs."

Archer shook his head. "I'm not all that hungry yet. I kind of want to just sit here with you a while longer. Is that okay?"

"That is perfectly fine, little one," he replied, hands rubbing against Archer's back. "And can you tell me more about your dragon? Like what he likes and doesn't like? I want to make sure I know all the things."

The animal inside him practically purred at his mate's words. The creature would be so spoiled when it came to Archer.

So deeply loved.

"Sure, little one," Romilly said. "I will tell you anything you want to know."

He pulled his boy to his chest and leaned back, preparing to share every piece of him the way Archer had done already. There would be no secrets, no lies. He had his mate and he was going to cherish him forever.
