PART - 51
Shaurya and Siya came there but Siya held her father's shoulder tightly, shaking her head asking him not to enter the house. Well, she wanted her 'Nanu' to welcome her father, she didn't like how he asked him to 'Get Out' though it was a game (according to her)
"Siyakriti... Now it's getting too much", Akansha said, glaring at the father-daughter, knowing what her daughter wanted. She sighed at Shaurya who follows his daughter's orders religiously as if she wasn't his 4-year-old but a commander in chief.
"What? What does my little Siya want?", Vasant asked softly
"Kuch nahi Papa, (It's nothing Papa)", Akansha told her father and turned to her daughter and husband. "Come inside, both of you", she said and Shaurya quickly entered carrying his daughter.
"Dadda...", Siya whispered in her father's year.
"It's okay, Nanu is our friend, also we don't want mumma to get angry right?
", Shaurya whispered in her daughter's ear as if it's a top secret and Siya enjoyed maintaining that secrecy, she got excited seeing Akansha and Vasant curious to know what they were talking about, whereas in real, they heard what Shaurya said.
"Okay...", The little girl said, giggling to herself. Shaurya kissed her hair, unable to hold his love and adoration for his daughter. Everytime she giggles, it flutters his heart with bliss.
Shaurya settles on the sofa, with Siya in his lap clutching his shirt making sure to turn his crisp cotton shirt into nothing but a wrinkled fabric, but he didn't mind at all.
"Siya... Leave Dadda's shirt, he has to go back to work and everyone will laugh at him seeing his wrinkled shirt", Akansha said and Siya quickly left her father's shirt and tried to soften the wrinkles.
No one can laugh at her Dadda. Akansha and Vasant chuckled at how the little girl cared so much about her father's reputation.
Shaurya held his little one's palm that was trying soften his shirt and kissed it.
"The wrinkles are gone bacha... See?", Shaurya softly said and Siya bobbed her head, resting it on her father's chest, holding him tightly. Her parents understood that she got cranky. Shaurya slowly ruffled her hair and cheek softly, calming her down.
Vasant so wanted to take his granddaughter in his arms and hug her tightly but Akansha signalled him that she would take time.
Shaurya cleared his throat and looked at Vasant awkwardly before opening his mouth.
"How are you doing now, Papa?", Shaurya asked softly... Though he regularly took updates on his health from his doctors, he still asked to east the awkwardness.
Vasant and Akansha were surprised to hear him address Vasant as 'Papa' still. Well, when Akansha got married to Shaurya, he addressed her parents like she did, but they didn't expect him to continue that even after all these years, especially after how things turned out.
"I'm doing good now, thank you", Vasant answered softly.
.. His hatred for Shaurya vanished but there's still some anger but also gratefulness for how he saved his daughter's life.
He couldn't imagine something happening to his daughter, it would kill him, only he knew how he lived all those years, with fear every second worried for his daughter until Akash told him he found his sister and now she has a daughter, and thankfully both are doing fine.
Vasant trusted Shaurya a lot with his daughter in the past. He was his hope to finally see his daughter happy but when he got to know the reason behind the marriage, his hopes came crashing down.
Now that he knew the truth, his hope restored, though he was upset with Shaurya, he also empathized with him.
He knows Akansha could be a bit harsh and stern, and unknowingly she became a partial reason for Shaurya's sister's suffering, whereas his other daughter knowingly destroyed Aakriti.
In a way, Shaurya's anger is justified but the path he chose was wrong but again, it was the only option he had to save his sister.
"Thank you for everything you have done when I was in hospital", Vasant said softly, Akansha told him how Shaurya helped Akash from backend, hiring the best doctors, bringing top surgeons from abroad to perform his surgery.
Well, Shaurya didn't tell her any of it, she got to know through Akash, though Shaurya tried to not let Akash know about his role, he figured it out eventually.
"Please Papa... You are embarrassing me, It's what I should do.
In fact much more, but unfortunately situations were not in our favor, I wanted to be here, with you during that time but didn't want to upset you.
I'm sorry for not doing enough", Shaurya said holding Vasant's palm, Shaurya's genuine affection once again proved how he accepted her father and brother as a family, and despite what her sister did to Aakriti, Shaurya offered to help with her divorce case, but Akash denied it.
Vasant shook his head with a smile.
"You have done more than enough", Vasant told Shaurya patting his palm with his other hand.
Siya slowly came out of her cocoon, and seeing her Dadda smiling at the old man who is her Nanu(maternal grandfather) according her mamabear and Dadda, she looked at him with anticipation.
Now she wants to meet him, and Shaurya and Akansha understood this.
Shaurya put her down and asked her to go towards Vasant.
"Siyabear... Come forward, meet your Nanu...", Akansha too encouraged her daughter.
Siya walked forward with a hesitant smile.
"Hi Siya... This is your Nanu, matlab (that means) your mumma's dadda", Vasant introduced himself.
"Siya, say Hi", Akansha said and Siya said a meek 'Hi'.
"You are so cute Siya... And your hair style is so good.
.. And look at your hair clips, wow they are so pretty", Vasant said when Shaurya and Akansha gestured him to talk about her hair and hair clips and just like they predicted, Siya got excited as soon as her Nanu praised her unicorn clips. He is cool, she thought.
"Yes Nanu... Mama bear made these hail..
. Hairstyle and my Dadda got me these...
", she said showing her hair clips and accessories.
Vasant got happy hearing her call him 'Nanu' with such ease that he felt as if she has known him for years.
Vasant took her in his arms, kissed her cheek and made her sit on his lap.
"These are unicons, these have so many powers.
.. You know I am also a unicorn, magic unicorn, Dadda says I have magic powers", Siya said making Vasant happy that she started talking to him.
"Oh wow... I haven't seen magic till now will you show me?", Vasant asked.
Siya looked at her father for help.
"Show Nanu that magic trick, smile wala (smile one)", Shaurya told her with an encouraging smile.
Siya hugged her Nanu and kissed his cheek tightly. Seeing him smile widely, Siya got down from her grandfather's lap and jumped in happiness as her trick worked once again. She had magical powers that could make anyone smile... Thought she.
"Thank you for bringing her here. At this final phase of my life, my grandchildren are the only one that could make me feel content. I get so happy spending time with Harsh and now Siya. She is such an angel Akansha", Vasant said.
"Papa... Where are Harsh and others?", Akansha asked hesitantly.
"I asked Jaya and Suman to not come out of the room, I don't want you to relive the torture they put you through.
Your mother is stuck inside the room where as Suman went out, she couldn't face you, so she went out and asked me to call her when you are gone.
.. I am glad at least she realized her faults now, but nonetheless forgiveness is not something she deserved, Harsh went to school, Suman will pick him up and stay at her friend's house", Vasant said, Akansha shook her head.
No matter how bad her sister did to her, she couldn't tolerate her pain, because she never saw her as a sister, she took her responsibilities as a mother.
"Call her and ask her to come back, I want Siya to meet her brother", Akansha said, looking at Shaurya if he would be okay. He nodded with a small smile but she could see the pain in his eyes remembering Aakriti's wild behavior and self harm, her pain and suffering.
"I'll ask someone to bring Harsh here... You don't have to meet Suman, you have bore enough, not anymore", Vasant said but Akansha shook her head.
"Papa... I... Um... You know it might sound irrational but I want to see her, she is my sister and I cannot change this fact even if I want to.
I am upset, angry and what not for everything she did to me or Aakriti or how she let Dilip play with our lives.
I wanted the best for her, I strived hard to give her a better life, and I feel somewhat guilty for what happened to her.
I should have listened to Shaurya when he told me about Dilip's reality.
.. But I blamed Aakriti and him for trying to sabotage Suman's marriage.
I should have heard him, at least should have looked into the chats he was showing me, but I.
.. I got selfish. Suman was pregnant and she said she would die if she didn't get married to Dilip.
.. And I was scared about all this affecting your health, so I rushed the wedding.
If I wanted, I could have save her life but.
..", Akansha couldn't speak anything more. .. Vasant held her hand consoling her.
"But you were all alone na... You were a single parent too, until around an year ago.
.. At least Suman had your mother and you with her during her delivery.
To help her with Harsh, you were there with her for her every checkup.
But what about you? You were all alone..
. Right from paying hospital bills to taking care of yourself, your baby.
.. How have you managed... I was such a useless father.
.. I...", Vasant said, his voice breaking, Akansha's hands shivered thinking about that day but she stayed strong, but Shaurya's breath hitched with anxiety imagining his wife's pain.
The thought that she was all alone while giving birth to his daughter made his hands and feet cold.
"Papa... Your daughter is strong... Also, Richa, my best friend took me to the hospital at the right time, and it.
..it went well", Akansha said, holding her father, consoling him.
When Vasant calmed down, she took a look at Shaurya to see how he is and seeing him stiffen, sirens rang in her head.
.. She needs to calm him down immediately. ..
"Papa... C..Could you get me some water?", Akansha asked, in the pretext of sending her father away.
"Yes beta...", Vasant got up with the help of his walker and slowly walked to the kitchen... Akansha quickly shifted to the seat beside Shaurya and took his cold hands in hers.
"Shaurya... Breathe... Breathe... Relax.
.. I'm okay... Siya is okay... Everything went well.
.. You are strong... You are strong... Shaurya.
.. Look at me damn it...", Akansha said, her voice quivering, looking at his condition, his palms sweaty and cold.
.. She knew she and Siya were his weakness, and he gets easily worried for them, but didn't know it was this major.
.. She forcefully held his chin and made him look at her.
.. "I'm here, holding your palm, I'm fine, Shaurya", she added.
She pushed all her complaining self to the back of her head, her priority was only him for now and he needed assurance that she made it through the labor room fine and she would give him that assurance. ..
He hugged her tightly to his chest, breathing heavily.
He could tolerate anything in this world but her in pain was not one of them, her pain was like poison to him.
He hated himself, his helplessness, and his choices for the pain he gave her with his silence every time.
She rubbed his back, forearms, hair, and cheeks to get him back.
.. He was lost, and his body became cold.
As a psychologist, she knew this condition all too well.
She is a strong woman, despite everything she faced, she didn't let it affect her mental health, and above all that, she had her hatred for Shaurya and Siya to cope, deal with situations, or find motivation, but him?
He was all alone and he had his guilt, regret, and uncertainty of whether he would ever find her in this life were eating him up.
And she knew he was strong when it came to anything in this world but her.
Suddenly, her head and heart started seeing the other side of the coin, that is his point of view and his pain.
Yes, she suffered a lot but he suffered too.
Was he hiding about his health condition?
Did he suffer mentally in these 5 years?
Looking at his condition, and how he was trying to get back to normal, she knew the answer to it and suddenly the thought of his suffering didn't give her satisfaction like she always imagined, instead, it caused dread.
Vasant cleared his throat and Akansha broke the hug, Shaurya too returned to his senses a bit. He cursed himself for not able to control and now he worried her. No, he didn't deserve it, he didn't deserve her care or love but he wanted it, he craved it, badly.
"I'll... I'll be back...", Shaurya said getting up...
"Have water first...", Akansha said, pouring a glass of water and handed it to him. He quickly gulped the whole contents and walked out, without his daughter who was busy in playing with Harsh's toys there, noticing him leaving.
"Ashwini... I think you don't take your job seriously anymore. So why don't you quit?", Shaurya said in the call to his PI immediately after he picked up. Shaurya had given the task of finding out what happened to his wife on the day of her delivery but he didn't get anything to hear till now.
"Sir... I have a breakthrough, I'm waiting for complete details, I'll soon send you everything", Ashwini said. He has never seen Shaurya speak that way, his tone was cut sharp and he instantly got the seriousness of this situation now.
"I don't know how much is 'soon' for you but for me, it's 48 hours.
.. After that, there will be someone else in your place", Shaurya said and hung up, making Ashwini sigh deeply.
After some time, he dialed Dev who asked him to keep this truth away from Shaurya.
Ashwini briefed his conversation with Shaurya and Dev fisted his hair.
Shaurya would be shattered knowing the truth, he is vulnerable when it comes to Akansha's pain, he saw him breaking every second during their marriage, every time he saw Akansha in pain and he had to stay silent, he broke, he broke down badly.
Dev's eyes welled up, remembering Shaurya's pain and suffering and it caused only dread.
"I have something to say", Dev texted Akansha
"I have something to ask", Akansha texted Dev at that very moment.
"Woah... What is it?", Dev asked her, surprised at their timing.
"I'll call you later", she texted back
"Okay", Dev said. He can't stop Ashwini for long.
Only he knew how much plotting he had to do to stop Ashwini from blurting the truth to Shaurya.
Dev convinced him using 'Shaurya's welfare' card but Ashwini told him that he could only wait until Shaurya pressured him.
He had to talk to Akansha soon, only she could handle Shaurya.
After knowing the truth, he thanked God for creating a strong woman like Akansha.
He respected her a lot for the strength she carried.
If Shaurya owned the capacity to control a state, tackle any issue or challenges that's thrown at him, Akansha held the capability to control Shaurya, handle his emotions and made him stand tall, preventing him from any fall.
Shaurya turned to go inside after getting his emotions under control for the time being but halted his steps hearing the father-daughter conversation.
Akansha was asking his father to call Suman there but he was adamant, she wouldn't come until Akansha is there.
Shaurya decided to give what his wife wanted.
Akansha deserved that assurance, otherwise he knew she couldn't be at peace.
Shaurya walked to Suraj and asked him to get details about Harsh's school and it's closing time. Within the next 10 minutes, Suraj got the details and they left to pick them up hoping they would be still at school considering the school just ended a few minutes ago.
"Suraj, shoot the video", Shaurya ordered and Suraj quickly shot the video in which it was clear how Dilip was harassing Suman, even his words were recorded, where he screamed at her, how he would snatch Harsh's custody from her.
After the needed clips were recorded, Shaurya asked Suraj to help Suman to which he quickly nodded and ran to her.
Seeing an NSG command, Dilip quickly halted his forceful actions.
"Is there a problem?", Suraj asked...
"It's a family problem sir... Don't involve", Dilip said, Suraj looked at Suman to protest but she simply nodded, as Dilip glared at her, and she was afraid he would snatch the custody by putting more false cases on her, she wasn't strong like her sister to fight.
"I don't think so, you are clearly harassing her...", Suraj started but cut off by Dilip.
"Sir... You don't have the right to involve in our family matters...", Dilip said
"Yes Saab, he was harassing this madam", the gatekeeper said
"Shut up", Dilip yelled at the guard
Shaurya had had enough of this nonsense. He got down the car and went to them shocking the school guards, Dilip and most importantly Suman. The guards greeted him respectfully, still in shock.
"I think I have the right to involve, since I'm family", Shaurya said sternly and Dilip sweated in nervousness.
"Yes sir, right away", Suraj said and contacted Shaurya personal legal team.
"If I see you near her or Harsh, you will be behind bars forever", Shaurya warned Dilip and looked at Suman... "Get in the car", Shaurya said softly yet sternly.
"Jiju...", Suman trailed...
Shaurya quickly walked to his car and settled inside as he didn't want people to notice him, luckily the crowd wasn't much as they found Suman and Harsh at the back gate of the school not the front one.
Suraj talked to the school guards asking them to immediately call a number of their local staff if they see Dilip anywhere near Suman or Harsh from here on.
Suman went and took her son's palm in hers, rubbing it gently. She consoled him and took towards Shaurya's car as she understood he won't be leaving the place without them.
"Mumma... Whose car is this... It's so cool", Harsh said getting excited knowing they would be going in that. "It's much more cooler than Mamu's car", He added
"That's your uncle's car, matlab I told you about Akansha maasi (aunt) right?
", Suman asked and Harsh nodded... "It's her husband's car.
.. Maasi is here... Chalo let's go to her", Suman said and the little boy got excited.
His grandfather told so many stories about his maasi and how brave she is, now he will finally meet her.
His Nanu even showed him the pictures of him in her arms.
Both of them settled in the car, none spoke a word. After some time, Suman opened her mouth to say a meek thank you but was cut off by Shaurya's question.
"Does this happen often?", he asked, he can't let this happen to any woman let alone to his wife's sister.
"No... He was in jail for another petty case, I didn't know when he was released, usually Akash arranges security whenever Dilip was out of jail, but this time, we didn't know", Suman answered
"His jail history wouldn't allow the court to give him the custody, then what's the issue?", Shaurya asked
"He was cleverly using his parents, they were fighting for Harsh's custody, trying to prove my inability to provide for Harsh. They also filed a false case against me for harassing them...", Suman trailed, making Shaurya nod.
They reached home, Suraj got down with Harsh, and opened the door for Shaurya who stepped down. Suman was hesitating to walk inside but Shaurya's one sentence got her moving.
"Your sister is waiting for you", Shaurya said and walked inside. Suman took quick steps inside, even she wanted to see her sister, hug her tightly and thank her for everything she did for her.
Hearing Suman and Harsh, Jaya too walked out of her room, Akansha hugged Harsh and showered all the love on him. She introduced him to Siya as well.
"Siya bear, this is your elder brother, Harsh and Harsh, this is your sister, Siya, Shake your hands both of you", Akansha said, and instead of shaking hands, Harsh hugged Siya and Siya too hugged him.
Suman shot the video of the kids with a wide smile.
"My little sister is so pretty, I will save her from all the boys, I won't let them look at you, Siya", Harsh said, pinching Siya's cheek cutely.
"It will hurt her", Shaurya said softly rubbing his daughter's cheek gently, Akansha glared at him and he quickly ruffled Harsh's hair too. Damn his senses got alert, screaming over protectiveness for his daughter and wife, he can't help it.
"I already like you, you are such a smart boy.
.. You should protect your sister like this always, and Siya, you should also protect your brother", Shaurya told Harsh and then addressed his daughter as well who nodded as a response, still holding her brother's hand in hers, as she is excited to have a big brother like some of her friends did.
"Yes, mamu says, a brother should always protect his sister that's why mamu protects mumma... Today you protected mumma... Are you also my mumma's brother?", Harsh asked Shaurya curiously. Shaurya just smiled in response.
'No, brother of a woman your mother destroyed', Suman thought to herself.
.. She sent Harsh Siya to play inside the room, the overprotective dad Shaurya Singh Shekhawat quickly walked behind the kids, and after scanning the whole room for any potential dangers, he started making the changes, like shutting the balcony door locking it, putting pillows at the corners where there is a possibility of kids getting hurt, and then he started with his instructions, Akansha who could hear it from the Hall held her head.
"Shaurya, come outside right now", Akansha called him, and thankfully that made him cut short his little speech.
"Take care bacha... Do one thing, sit on the bed and paint", Shaurya whispered to the kids
"Dadda... Mamabear is calling you... Go... Or mumma will get angly(angry)", Siya said, Shaurya chuckled at her daughter's way of kicking him out without offending him. He kissed her cheek, then Harsh's cheek and walked to the Hall.
Jaya wanted to talk to Akansha, apologize to her, but she didn't look her way and Vasant signaled her to stay calm or go inside, she preferred staying shut and see her daughter from near, before she left... She wanted to meet Siya too but Vasant stopped her.
"What did Harsh mean by protect?", Akansha asked looking at Shaurya and Suman.
She didn't like to indulge in casual conversation with her sister, so she directly came to the point.
But, Suman hesitated... Her sister was there after more than 5 years and the first thing she asks her was about her problem.
Every minute of her life she spent taking care of their needs but she never valued her and now all the guilt rushed in.
"Was Dilip there ?", Jaya guessed bringing Suman out of her thoughts. Suman nodded.
"But he was in jail, no?", this time it was her father, he barely spoke to them so the mother-daughter were surprised.
"Don't know when he got released, might have bribed again", Suman replied meekly.
She remembered what Akash told about Suman's divorce case. She looked at Shaurya in worry, asking if he knew any details about it and he blinked his eyes in assurance. She shook her head, no she didn't want his help, just information.
"Suraj shot the video of Dilip harassing Suman.
Restraining orders would soon be sent to him and procedure would be fast tracked as well.
Police cases against him would act in our favour, we'll soon find something against his parents too.
..", Shaurya said... "My legal team will contact you, give them the details", he said looking at Suman.
"Sir... Please don't burden me with more debts", Suman said joining her hands. "Di... Please, You too stay away from this chaos. You have suffered enough because of Dilip and me", she told.
"I will do what I have to...", Akansha said and turned to Shaurya to ask him to stay away from this but before she could start, he cut her off gently.
"If not as your husband, I'll take action as a chief minister.
I would have done the same if there's any other woman in her place, I would ask my legal team to guide her lawyer, that's what I am doing now", Shaurya said, before anyone could say anything, He received a call, after a brief talk, he hung up.
"My legal team has contacted your lawyer, the necessary information is being shared", Shaurya said.
.. Akansha walked towards him and he knew what she would say so he quickly walked awayciting some urgent work.
Well he has work for real but it could wait, but suddenly it's urgency increased ten folds, with his wife's determined steps.
He didn't want to be reprimanded in front of his in-laws, especially his evil mother-in-law and sister-in-law.
Shaurya wanted to resolve Suman's issue because no woman deserved such harrassment and as the CM it's his responsibility to help every woman of his state.
His government already took steps towards this, like establishing government legal entities that could help people, especially women with the legal issues but he knew it was not enough, so he decided to expand them in his next term that is if he wins elections again.
Dev and his party is giving him a tough fight this time, and though now Shaurya has a family, he didn't want to use his wife and daughter to improve his image or benefit in politics.
Not that Dev likes to use it but his youth association and PR sure likes to highlight some advantage of Dev where Shaurya lacked in.
Since Shaurya came there, he decided to visit Aakriti once.
Well, to say his sister has changed a lot in the past 5 years wouldn't be a lie.
He never expected her to become the woman she is today, but he is glad that she overcome her fears and started living a peaceful life.
Though happiness wasn't a part of her life, she was satisfied with the simple and sober life she had, without any complications.
She gave up her luxurious life and shifted to a modest apartment near the old age home she looked after.
Serving them gave her satisfaction, and looking at their sufferings, she realized how petty hers were.
The people there worked hard all their lives to give a good life to their children without caring about their health or saving for their retirement and now when they needed their children's support, they left them on the roads to suffer.
Yet these people are so pure that they pray every day for the welfare of their kids, and forgive them for the sins they committed.
She learned what selfless love is, from them.
The same love her brothers and her father showed towards her but she failed to appreciate.
Her father Rajnath loved her so much, that he was broken when she tried to end her life.
It took her some time to realize her mistakes and when she did, she wanted to leave the comforts and luxuries she had and shift with those old and pure souls repenting all her life but her father refused to let her live there alone and he can't stay in the old age home either considering he had a business empire to run.
So, he chose a simple apartment near the elderly home and moved there with her.
He gave up his comforts supporting her in her decision and making her realize how blessed she is to have him.
And Dev and Shaurya? They suffered more than her, seeing her in pain.
Shaurya went against his values to keep her alive.
She saw him breaking every single minute, but her eyes were shut with self-pain and anger that didn't let her see his suffering.
She always knew her brother loved Akansha, but she lived in her illusion and made herself believe otherwise.
She forced him to take revenge on her. She saw Shaurya fighting with his life for Akansha, he was stabbed badly, yet he was holding the attackers from leaving to harm Akansha.
Blood was oozing out of his body but he kept fighting, she cried for Shaurya, she thought she lost her brother that day.
That moment, she realized the seriousness of the situation.
She didn't talk to Shaurya for some time, and he thought she was angry with him for fighting for Akansha's life, but in reality, she was processing the truth that was in front of her eyes which she conveniently ignored till then.
When she finally realized all her mistakes, and how irrational was her demand for revenge, she wanted to apologize to Shaurya and tell him to end all this, but he made her leave the country.
When she returned, Akansha was already gone and Shaurya was equal to a dead soul. He was just breathing.
The amount of guilt she felt was unbearable.
She cursed herself for not realizing it earlier.
With her stubbornness, and thirst to make her sufferers suffer, she destroyed that one man's life who did everything possible for her to make her happy, who was always there for her no matter the circumstances, who sat on the hospital chair for 48 hours waiting for her to open her eyes.
He loved her more than her own brother and what did she do in return?
Snatched the woman he loved more than his life, made him hurt her resulting in Akansha hating him.
All for what? a few venomous words she spat?
She was too weak then to understand this, but now that she thought of it, her act seemed so stupid, her pain seemed irrelevant to the strong woman she became now.
She left the main culprit, Dilip Gandhi, if anything, she should have asked for his destruction from her brothers.
He was the one who instigated her against Akansha, the foolish woman she was at that time didn't get it, Akansha was always straightforward and up to the point, she never sugar-coated her words, she said what she meant, and that's what she liked about her, her confidence the aura she carried that made her a fan of her, but when the same attitude was thrown at her, it wounded her badly, she felt betrayed but there wasn't a need to feel so, because why would Akansha Dikshit be loyal to her or think about her well-being over her sister?
Rajnath got to know about Shaurya's visit to the city, and he informed the same to Aakriti who quickly left to the party office to meet him thinking he came there on official work.
She knew Akansha is now back in his life and she is very happy about it.
Shaurya also showed her, Siya's picture and how Akansha named her 'Siyakriti' despite everything.
That was a very emotional moment for her, she sobbed hard on Shaurya's chest hoping her tears would wipe away her mistakes.
Though Shaurya never blamed her, she knew she was the cause of his misery, or at least she believed it.
Aakriti didn't think Akansha and Siya would be there considering how she avoided her family all these years but when her driver informed about them being there, she asked him to take a U turn as she didn't hold the courage to face her...
The driver tried to convince her a lot but she was adamant, she needed a lot of preparation to do this.
.. Now, even with the thought of seeing Akansha caused her palms to sweat.
Yes, Akansha had hurt her a lot with her words but what she did to her was sin and Aakriti realized it late, and from the day she realized, she imagined numerous times to apologize but could never really get the courage to do so.
After dropping Aakriti home, the driver who is one of the very few loyal staff of his went to party office in search of Shaurya, but when he got to know he wasn't there, he drove to Akansha's parent's house, as he knew he could be there, it's a possibility since he came with Akansha and Siya.
He tried calling Shaurya's personal phone which is the only contact he had of his, but unfortunately Shaurya's phone was discharged and he put it on charge at Akansha's place, before leaving for his work.
The driver reached Akansha's house and knocked the door. He needs to inform Shaurya how Aakriti went back not wanting to meet him now. He knew how much Aakriti wanted to meet Shaurya.
"Aap?(you...)", Akansha muttered, her eyes wide. He used to work in Shekhawat ancestral palace as a driver or maybe he still worked. Did Shaurya's father sent him there? But why?
"Akansha ma'am... Namaste... How are you?
", he asked with a kind smile. Yes, he was always kind to her.
He helped her a lot when she used to live in Shekhawat house.
He used to take her to market, grocery shopping and wherever she wanted to go without anyone's notice as his mother-in-law wanted her to go by walk.
He also taught her how to pick vegetables and groceries as she didn't know anything about it in the beginning and when her mother-in-law got to know about it, she made sure to send Akansha to buy vegetables and groceries.
More importantly he was the one who took her to the university that day, though he didn't know, she was able to submit her thesis on time just because of him and she is grateful to him for the Dr. in front of her name now.
