Hollow Plans

Hollow Plans

PART ONE Molly

Part One

Molly

Everyday you die again.

While I’m driving

Or shopping

Or pretending

to watch tv.

It hits me and I forget

How to breathe.

Somedays, I can sneak by

without you dying.

Just quietly skate

past it.

Tiptoe around it

like a mouse.

But most days,

it’s a bull

And I am wearing red.
