Chapter 18 The Second Date #2

Natalie wiped the top of her Coke can with her thumb, then decided that did nothing useful and drank from it anyway.

Danny finished the egg sandwich. Natalie ate the last bite of the crab sandwich. Neither of them touched the rice roll again.

“What about the shrimp chips?” he asked.

“Open them.”

He opened the bag and held it out to her.

She took one.

They ate a few more, passing the bag back and forth. The street kept moving. Another bus came, but stopped farther down. Natalie and Danny both watched it until it left.

Danny gathered the wrappers into the plastic bag.

“You done?” he asked.

“Yes.”

He looked at the rice roll.

“Throw it away,” she said.

He put it in the bag with the wrappers.

Natalie stood and brushed the back of her jeans with one hand. Danny tied the bag and stood beside her.

“Hey,” Natalie said, “Let’s walk back.”

They started walking back, looking for a rubbish bin.

They got back to Natalie’s building.

Danny paused.

Natalie said, “Hey, come up. We’ll hang out. Talk.”

“Okay.”

They went up.

Danny sat down on the couch while Natalie got some water out of the fridge and put it into two glasses. She put the glasses on the table and sat next to him.

Danny looked around. “This is nice. Nicer than my place.”

Natalie smiled. “No, it isn’t. I’ve seen your place, you know. Your place is better.”

He looked at her.

“I think you’re wrong. My place is bigger but this is cozy. You’ve decorated it nicely. There’s not all my junk lying around. I could live here.”

They looked at each other. Natalie leaned forward. Danny met her halfway. They kissed. It was spontaneous and brief.

“I like hanging out with you,” Danny said as if nothing had happened. “I missed you while you were in L.A.”

Natalie looked down.

“At first, L.A. was great. But then I was lonely. I had nobody. Aaron was busy. I avoided you because I didn’t want to admit to what I had done. Not even to myself.”

She sighed and took a big breath. “My friends hate me. We had a huge fight. They’ll never forgive me for the awful things that I said.

I miss them, though. I miss them so much.

I miss Friday nights. I miss Grace, Constance, Alexis, Lung, and even Tessa.

I just wish that I could be back there. I’d be happy to just listen to them, even if I wasn’t allowed to talk. ”

She looked at him. “Do you forgive me?”

She leaned forward, they met halfway and kissed again.

“Yeah,” Danny said, “I do. I forgive you.”

“Do you want to be with me?” she asked.

“Yes,” he replied. “I want that.”

They kissed again. This time longer. Natalie put her hand on his chest. Danny touched her waist. They stood up without saying anything more and walked to the bedroom.

In the bedroom Natalie turned on the small lamp by the bed. It gave a warm light.

She pulled her UC Berkeley T-shirt over her head. Danny took off his black T-shirt. They took off their jeans. Natalie unhooked her bra and slipped off her panties. Danny took off his underwear.

They stood naked for a moment, looking at each other.

Natalie got onto the bed. She lay on her back. Danny climbed on top of her. He held himself up on his elbows so he did not put all his weight on her. Their bodies touched. Skin against skin. His chest to her tits. His hips between her legs.

They kissed again. Slow kisses. Danny moved his mouth to her neck. Then back to her lips. Natalie ran her hands along his back. She felt the warmth of him. He felt solid and real above her.

Danny reached down between them. He guided his cock to her pussy. He pushed in slowly. Natalie breathed out as he entered her. He went all the way in. They stayed like that, joined, not moving yet. Just feeling each other.

He started to move. Gentle thrusts. In and out. Not fast. Not hard. Steady and careful. Natalie wrapped her legs around his waist. She held him close. Their bodies rocked together in a slow rhythm.

Danny looked at her face. His eyes stayed on hers. Natalie looked back. She felt happy. His cock moved inside her with each gentle push. It felt good.

It was warm. It was right.

They did not speak much. Just soft sounds. Breaths. Small moans when it felt especially nice. Danny kissed her again. Their tongues touched lightly. He kept moving inside her. The same calm pace. Natalie lifted her hips a little to meet him.

Time passed. The fan turned above them. The light from the lamp stayed steady.

Natalie ran her fingers through Danny’s hair.

He kissed her forehead. Then her cheek. Then her mouth.

The pleasure built slowly. Natalie felt it deep in her belly. She held him tighter. Danny kept the same rhythm. He was not trying to make her cum fast. He was just with her. Moving with her. Being close.

Natalie’s breathing changed. Her body grew warmer. She pressed her face into his shoulder. Danny slid one hand under her back and held her. He thrust a little deeper but still gently. Natalie let out a long breath. Her pussy tightened around his cock. The feeling spread through her.

She cummed quietly. Her body trembled under him. He held her close the whole time.

Danny kept moving through it. Slow and steady. When her trembling stopped he kissed her again. They stayed joined.

Then he pushed deep and stayed there. His body tensed.

He cummed inside her. A soft groan left his mouth. Natalie felt the pulses. She stroked his back while it happened.

Afterward they did not move right away. Danny stayed on top of her. His weight felt good. Natalie kept her legs around him. Their breathing slowed together. He kissed her neck softly. She turned her head and kissed his cheek.

Danny finally lifted himself and lay beside her. Natalie turned on her side to face him. They looked at each other. He put his arm around her waist. She rested her hand on his chest.

They lay like that in the small bed. The sounds of the street came faintly through the window. Cars. Voices. Inside the room it was quiet. Just the two of them breathing. Skin still warm where they touched.

Natalie felt calm. Happy to be here with him. Danny’s hand moved slowly up and down her back. They did not need to say anything more.

They were together.
