VIVIANNA

Bentley, Tristan, and Orion left to pack their things and move them into the rooms in my wing of the castle.

Remember when we first moved in here and you told Sarma you didn’t plan on filling all the rooms?

So? I’m not adding any more men to my plate, seven of them is more than enough. I didn’t even know that Bentley actually felt that way about me.

To be fair, I didn’t pick up on it either. He’s always so buttoned-up and professional.

“I want you to myself tonight,” Darius purred as he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me back against his hard chest and brushing his lips against my ear.

I turned slightly so I could look up at him, his blue eyes filled with heat. I licked up the front of his neck over his mark, causing him to growl his pleasure. “That can be arranged.”

Darius didn’t waste a second as he tossed me over his shoulder and headed up to my room.

“Rik, you guys are on your own tonight,” I shared as Darius kicked the door closed behind us.

I could hear Rik chuckling before he answered. “Guess it’s time to put the asshole out of his misery. Enjoy your night. We’ll deal with the prospects and get them settled.”

Darius plopped me down on the bed and loomed over me, his wolf shimmering in his eyes. “You have no idea what you do to me, my queen.”

“Tell me,” I whispered as I pushed up to place a soft kiss on his lips.

Darius chased after me when I pulled away, but I placed a hand on his chest, stopping him.

Even though I was forgiving him, I would always be in charge of what happened in this room between us.

I had a feeling he would need a good reminder of his place in this family, and it made this so much more fun.

“Tell me what I do to you Darius,” I demanded as my hands started to unbutton his shirt.

His whole body shivered, hands clenching in the covers, trying to keep his control. I grinned, knowing exactly what I wanted to do tonight. I was more than happy to give him what he needed, whether he knew it or not.

“You test my patience, never following my orders,” he said, kissing along my jaw.

“Constantly putting yourself at risk for others, making it harder to keep you safe. Your sharp tongue and sassy wit challenge me, only adding to my need to bite your luscious lips.” Proving his words, he nipped and kissed my lips until I was breathless.

Still, I held him off my body, not letting him get the contact he wanted. “Do you recognize me as your Alpha? Your Dama?”

“Yes, my queen. You own me; every part of me is yours,” Darius conceded, letting his forehead rest against mine.

“Prove it,” I ordered.

Seconds later I was laying there in just my underwear, having not bothered to put a bra on under my hoodie. Darius’s hot mouth was making its way down my neck, his fingers lightly brushing along my sides, causing goosebumps to appear on my skin.

“How would you like me to prove it to you, my queen?” Darius mumbled, flicking his gaze up at me as he worked lower down my stomach.

I grinned at him, knowing he would do whatever I asked. “I want everyone in this castle to know who is making me scream his name. I want my legs to feel like Jell-O, so I can’t walk to the bathroom. I want to see stars, Darius. Think you can do that?”

“For you, my queen, I can do anything,” Darius rumbled as he crawled between my legs and set to the task.

Ripping off my underwear, he ran his thumbs along the insides of my legs, opening them up wider so he could see my core clearly.

Leaning down, he kissed from my bellybutton down to the smooth, shaved skin right above where I wanted his mouth most. I wriggled under him, hoping I could encourage his journey lower.

He continued to kiss down one hip, then down the other, making me pant with anticipation.

“Darius, please,” I begged, the fire that had been simmering under my skin bursting into an inferno.

“All good things come to those who wait, my queen,” Darius said as he took a finger and ran it between my lower lips.

A shout burst out of my mouth at the contact.

His finger trailed lower, and just the tip of it slipped into me, wetting his finger.

Then he brought it back up and swirled it around my clit, sending pleasure coursing through my veins.

He moved slowly with light pressure, causing me to lift my hips to get more friction.

When I did, he stopped and pulled his hand away.

Growling, I sat up on my elbows to glare at him.

“If you wish to see stars, then you have to trust me,” Darius said, a wicked smile on his lips.

Groaning, I flopped back down on the bed, and he started up his movements again.

So much for being in charge.

Go away. I don’t need you distracting me from this delicious torture.

You’re so greedy.

Darius must have noticed I’d drifted off, because he pinched my clit, sending me shooting off the bed with a gasp. “Holy fuck.”

“I have taken your punishment, my queen, and done as you have asked, so forgive me if I demand your full attention during my reward,” Darius said as his movements picked up speed.

I lost count of the times he brought me close to the edge and backed off, making me dizzy. My body was covered in a sheen of sweat, my breath ragged in my lungs. I wasn’t sure how much more of this torment I could take before I took matters into my own hands.

“Are you ready to see the stars, my queen?” Darius purred, looking up at me from between my legs.

I had to swallow and lick my lips before I could answer. “Hell fucking yeah, I’m ready.”

Then his mouth descended on me and sucked my clit between his lips as he plunged two fingers into my pussy.

I screamed his name, thrashing on the bed as my orgasm slammed into me.

Color exploded in my vision, making me see stars, just as he promised he would.

Darius didn’t stop dragging every ounce of pleasure from me until I was twitching on the bed.

Finished torturing me, he crawled up my body, placing random kisses as he went until he reached my lips.

I rolled into him, tossing a leg over his hip and devouring that wonderful, wonderful mouth.

I could feel his ramrod straight dick pressing into my stomach.

He was much larger than my other three mates, but I knew with the work he had done I was more than ready to take him.

Shifting, I caught the tip at my opening and slid down on him, making him grunt. “My queen, you drive me crazy.”

Once I was fully seated on him, I stopped, just enjoying the feeling of being completely full.

I could feel his teeth scraping along the mound of my breast, and before I realized, he pulled out and thrust into me as he bit deeply into my skin.

He held onto my breast as he thrust, his hands splayed out on my back, holding me steady.

Finally, he relaxed his hold and pulled out of me.

“No.” I cried at the loss of him, grabbing him close to me.

Darius just grinned as he flipped me onto my stomach, lifting my hips as he kept my head stuck to the mattress.

Without warning he thrust back into me and let out every ounce of pent-up sexual frustration between us, the sound of slapping skin and my cries of pleasure filling the room.

I could feel him nearing his climax and pushed into him with each thrust, urging him deeper, the hint of pain only adding to my pleasure.

Darius collapsed over me, wrapping his arms around my chest and pulling me upright.

Our bodies aligned as one, and his movements turned wild as he reached his finish, his hot cum releasing inside of me and setting off my own orgasm.

We both called out our pleasure as he gave a last few jerks, making us both shudder.

Falling back to the bed, neither of us moved as we caught our breath and let our bodies return to earth.

“That was amazing,” I murmured, wriggling back against him. This made him hiss, as his dick was still tucked inside of me.

Pulling his hips back, he slid out of me, nuzzling his nose into my neck. “If I had known sex with my mate with be this mind-blowing, I never would have resisted you.”

“Hm, so you only like me for the sex,” I teased.

Darius cupped my cheek and turned me to look at him. “Viv, my beautiful queen, I have loved you ever since you stood up to me the first time at the dinner table in the safe house. No woman has ever had the balls to put me in my place.”

I grinned. “So you do like it when I order you around.”

Darius groaned and kissed me. “You and only you can order me around, but remember—it doesn’t mean I’ll listen.”

After a little while, Darius picked me up and carried me to the bathroom where we showered in an attempt to clean up, but we ended up having to do it twice when I couldn’t keep my hands off him. Finally, we passed out curled up against one another, our limbs intertwined.

The following morning, the guys decided that they wanted to do breakfast in our space so we could talk more about Sarma. We figured that if we were going to go after one of the women who had been leading this pack, we’d better have our ducks in a row.

“If all of you are willing, then I think we need to do a blood transfusion for the rest of my mates,” I said, bringing everyone’s attention to me.

“I’ve been thinking about it since we discovered it was possible.

The fact that I can talk to Rik and Orion silently is a huge advantage.

It also makes you guys tougher and heal faster. ”

Tav set down his coffee and looked at me, worry filling his eyes. “We don’t know what other side effects there could be to doing that, though.”

This again? Seriously? I thought we’d already gone over this ‘Viv’s mutant blood’ thing.

“Rik hasn’t had any issues.” I frowned, looking over at Rik.

He dipped his head, not looking me in the eye. “That’s not entirely true…”

What?.

“There better be an explanation coming soon,” I said, glowering at him.

“Ask me where Astrid is,” Rik said.

“What does that have—”

“Viv, just ask the question,” Tristan said, cutting me off.

I rolled my eyes and sighed. “Where is Astrid, Rik?”

He closed his eyes for a moment, looking like he was in deep concentration. “She’s at her house. Feels like she’s making breakfast.”

My jaw fell open, and my brows raised as someone handed me a phone that was ringing.

“Good morning, Dama. How can I help you?” Astrid answered.

Shaking myself back to reality, I answered, “If you don’t mind me asking, where are you right now?”

“I’m at home, Dama. Your mates said you were eating in your quarters, so I didn’t need to be there. Has that changed? Do you need me for something? I just finished making breakfast, but I can come right over,” Astrid assured me.

“No, no, it’s fine, enjoy your breakfast,” I hurried to say, then let a pause hang in the air. “Have any of my mates talked to you this morning?”

“Are you sure you’re alright, Dama?” Astrid pressed, sounding worried.

“Everything is fine, please just answer the question,” I said, rubbing my forehead, wondering if I should be worried.

“No, Dama. I have been enjoying a quiet morning to myself until you called. I have talked to no one,” Astrid answered, her tone curious.

“Thank you. I’ll see you later, enjoy your breakfast,” I said before hanging up and turning to Rik. “What the fuck. How did you do that? I guess it could have been a lucky guess… where else would she be?”

Calm as he could be, Rik shrugged his shoulders.

“I don’t know how it happens, but when I think of a wolf that is a part of my pack or the ones we know here, I can find them.

Wherever they are at. It’s like I think about someone and the knowledge that they are at home or on a run pops into my head.

When I started paying attention to that information and concentrating, I could tell vaguely what they were doing. ”

“When did this start to happen?”

“A few days after I recovered,” Rik admitted.

“I didn’t say anything because I had no idea what was happening.

Then when Bentley shared what he did with your blood, I knew it had to be tied to that.

I’ve been working with Bentley; I wanted to test out what I can do with it before I came to you with no answers. ”

Falling back against the couch, I rubbed my face with my hands, trying to wrap my head around all of this.

What the fuck? Is this our fault? Did we turn our mate into some kind of mutant?

Oh, come on, that shit is cool. I glared internally at her, upset at her response. Okay, I get it. You’re upset because you think he’s upset, but look at him. There is nothing to indicate that he’s bothered by this at all.

Curious, I opened my eyes and looked at Rik’s gaze. She was right—there was nothing in his face other than worry, most likely because of me and not because of his new powers.

“Alright, so there might be more involved with the sharing of my blood than we thought. How do the rest of you feel? I won’t force anyone to do this if they think it’s a bad idea…” I said, looking at all my other mates.

“Um, yeah. there is no way that I am missing out on some cool-ass trick like that. Sign me up.” Koit grinned, knocking into my shoulder and all but clapping his hands in glee.

Darius picked up my hand and kissed the back of it. “If this helps keep you safe, then I’m all for it. The mental link alone will be invaluable to each of us.”

“Love, I trust you, every part of you. I’m fine with what you think is best,” Tav said, giving me a smile that made me melt.

“Seems we should head to the medical wing then,” Bentley announced, getting to his feet.

“I don’t think that is our best course of action,” Tristan advised.

Cocking my head, I looked at him. “Why not? It only makes sense to do this in a clean environment where we have tools available if something should go wrong.”

“There is value in that, yes, but if we are right about Sarma, wouldn’t we want to keep this all a secret from her?” Tristan argued.

“Dearest, you are wise as you are beautiful. Listening to counsel will get you far in this world, but in case you need more opinion to sway you, I agree with Tristan. No one knows about Rik, and keeping all we can hidden from the enemy is the wise choice,” Orion said, his half smile present on his lips.

That boy is going to be trouble in the best way. He’s a slippery one, knows just how to word things—I like it.

Hearing all of them, I turned to Bentley. “Very well. I will run down to the medical wing and be back with the supplies we need.”
