How Not to Woo Your Human Warrior (Falling for Demons #3)
Prologue
I SWEAR IT'S STILL COZY
Kalypso
It was not surprising for Kalypso to wake up and already be angry. That was just her general state of being. Whenever her sister would ask what had caused her sour mood, Kaly found it was easiest to gesture to everything.
As she woke, groggy and furious, in an unknown bed and unfamiliar room, she remembered three things.
Her sister, screaming and crying as Kaly tried to reach her.
The slavers, jabbing her with half a dozen syringes of sorcerous concoctions after she’d slit one of their throats and gutted another.
And a purple demon, holding a spiked sickle against her throat and grimacing like she was a pathetic stain of muck on his shoe.
It was the last thought that reminded her exactly what she’d intended to do with all that anger boiling in her chest.
She was going to fucking murder him.
