Happiness
Kalypso
Kalypso’s hands pressed into the wall, head pulled back by the tight grip in her hair, and mouth clamped on a pair of gardening gloves she hoped hadn’t been used to prune anything poisonous.
Her leggings were bunched around her knees, tight shirt hiked up until her breasts were spilling out. Hiding in a storage closet while the party continued outside the… probably unlocked door.
Ozirax withdrew to the tip, slamming back in with a groan. “Fuck, Spicy.”
Alright, so much for being quiet. She spat out the gloves and said over her shoulder, “You do know the whole point of a quick fuck is to actually be quick to make us come, right? Like, you have permission to come fast. This is an acceptable situation to focus on your release.”
He slapped her rear—definitely not quiet in a greenhouse full of demons who could hear them—then wrapped that hand around her throat. “I love you.”
She swallowed against the tightening of his grip. “Feeling’s fucking mutual.”
That was all he needed to unleash, the hands at her hair and throat tightening as his hips picked up rhythm. He slammed into her, hard and deep at record speed, thick length stretching her.
Kalypso had come far, letting him hold her in this position, but also not fearing when that tail—spikes flat—twisted around her front to tease the bundle of nerves at her entrance.
The rise and fall of her orgasm was bright and hot, legs stiffening as pleasure trembled through her. She knew the moment he succumbed, his fingers tightening perfectly around her throat as he growled and spilled deep.
“That’s what we needed,” Kalypso purred around his hold. “I knew you could come fast.”
She hissed as Ozirax released his grip and slipped free, the heat replaced with a hand as he shoved his cum back inside and plugged her with his fingers. “Just for that, you can walk around with my seed inside you so every demon smells me on you.”
Kaly whimpered as his fingers teased her before dragging free. “Pretty sure everyone knew what we were going to do when you dragged me in here with your tongue down my throat.”
He cleaned her with a small linen that she also had to hope wasn’t used to hold something poisonous before helping her pull her leggings back up. “How can they blame me? Not like all of them weren’t eyeing this closet for some time of their own.”
Kalypso rolled her eyes, though her lips tipped up in a smile.
Ozirax adjusted his pants again, belting them, and then pulled open the door. “Shall we—fuck!”
Kaly tilted around his frame, squinting into the no-longer-familiar-to-her sunlight as she glanced at the silver fox with six eyes sitting at the door. “Is there an issue?”
The purple demon didn’t move, completely frozen in place. “Atteapir.”
“What?”
Oz hissed. “An atteapir.”
The species name finally clicked. “Wait, this is what you’re afraid of?”
The giant six-eyed fox hiccuped, then blinked its middle right and bottom left eyes out of sync.
“It’s terrifying,” Ozirax muttered, and now she noticed all his spikes were on end. “Tail that can whip fire. Teeth that will gnaw on you—”
“And that’s Aofe’s pet, so… pretty sure we’re safe.”
Placing her hand on Ozirax’s arm, careful to avoid his spines, she urged him out of the storage room. He shuffled his feet, keeping a wide berth, and the moment he was free, he was walking quickly away.
Only to bump into a giant red demon.
Well, giant was relative. He was giant compared to the human at his side, but just a couple inches shorter than Oz. With a broken horn and a linen wrapped around his eye, he looked quite menacing.
Kaly met his stare, that single eye not flinching.
“Severath,” Ozirax greeted, and though it was stiff, Kaly knew how much her demon respected his former squad leader.
And maybe without his father interrupting them every five minutes—oh, yes, that rune preventing Zalvokan’s comings and goings at the barracks was her idea—they might actually become friends.
“Ozirax.” Severath nodded in return, eye flashing to her again. “I take it this is my replacement?”
Kalypso cocked her head, folding her arms over her chest. “From what Oz and the rest of the squad told me, there’s no replacing you.” She smirked. “Besides, I’m more of a swords girl myself.”
The red demon’s lips twitched, not quite a smile, and then he said to Ozirax, “I see we’ve both entwined ourselves with fiery humans.”
A tail curled around her hips, a direct response to the red demon doing the same to Ember. Both women rolled their eyes.
“You’ll have to come out with us sometime,” Kaly said to break the awkward silence. “The squad loves to tell stories of your accomplishments in the Dreadmoor. I think even Frank is getting annoyed with Ozirax’s increasingly dramatic versions of our recent excitement.”
She shouldn’t have brought it up because then Oz was wrapping an arm around her shoulder and saying, “Did you know Spicy singlehandedly felled a rabbit?”
Ember glanced at her, brow arched in confusion, as Kalypso groaned and pinched the bridge of her nose. “Oz, mutated rabbit. You have to stop saying that in front of humans.”
“I don’t understand why you’re embarrassed,” he grunted, then turned back to the retired warrior, both hands coming up as he described the thing. “It was all white, with these floppy ears, and these teeth, and a bushy tail. And it hopped. Fucking hopped to get places.”
As Severath’s features morphed more and more into terror, while Ember’s contorted more and more into stifled laughter, Kaly just shook her head and glanced around at the greenhouse and the beautiful setup.
Then her eyes caught tawny hair in the distance.
Kat’s gaze fell on her just a breath later, her hair shining brightly in the magical sunlight and sparkling in her eyes.
Kaly lifted her hand, offering a small wave and a smile, and there was no hesitation as her sister waved back.
And in that single gesture, Kalypso knew things were going to be okay.
