57. Swine #2

Matilda stared, intrigued by his willingness to offer himself.

There was something strangely vulnerable and exhilarating about the gesture.

Luka Alesi, King of Night Falls, had ruled with an iron fist—once the boogeyman of her nightmares—and now he sat with his back to her, throat bared, offering himself without hesitation.

“Feed,” he murmured.

Her gaze remained fixed on his pulse that she easily found under his pale skin. She hesitated.

“You require blood.”

“I know.”

“Am I not appealing? Perhaps I can entice you with a rotund pig,” Luka teased, chuckling softly.

“I regret telling you.”

“Don’t be a sourpuss. It was funny.”

“I disagree.”

Luka nodded. “I understand. However, there is one thing we can agree on.”

“Our love for Denalia.”

“Yes, and also your fear that your hunger might compel you to hurt others.” He canted his head farther, exposing more of his throat. “So, take mine.”

Matilda licked her lips when the vein in his throat seemed to come to life. Her hands slowly settled upon his shoulders. He didn’t tense or turn around—something she appreciated greatly. He merely waited for her to consume him.

The burning in her throat intensified. She cleared her throat.

“Do you trust me when I hunger like this?” she asked, voice uncharacteristically deep and ragged.

Luka answered without hesitating.

“I trust you with everything.”

Those were the words she needed to hear.

Luka’s body went still when he felt her fangs brush against his skin. She hesitated. “Do not stop now,” he murmured.

She closed her eyes and sank her fangs into his neck. He sucked in a sharp breath. His hands gripped the edges of the stone basin as the first pull of blood left him.

Matilda hummed appreciatively, and Luka’s blood filled her mouth. The terrible burning in her throat eased almost instantly.

Luka’s blood was rich and potent, effectively silencing the hunger that had tormented her since the settlement.

A small, pleased sound escaped her, and Luka’s head tipped father to the side.

“That’s it,” he whispered.

Her arms instinctively slipped around him, holding him against her as she continued to drink. The tension slowly left her, and her thoughts quieted. She no longer felt like something feral was trying to claw its way out of her.

She retracted her fangs long enough to ask, “Do you feel pleasure, my king?”

“Immensely,” he replied with a sigh as her venom sent signals directly to his loins. She pierced his flesh again, and her hands slowly descended. Her fingers traveled over defined muscle and smooth skin, nestling in his pubic hair before taking him into her hand.

“Oh!” Luka exclaimed when she squeezed his shaft. His legs kicked out, and the vampire king scrambled in her hold.

Matilda smiled against his flesh as he flailed, spilling water over the sides of the tub. His hips bucked, sending cresting waves back and forth.

“By the gods,” Luka moaned, screwing his eyes closed as his wife jerked him off. “I will spill,” he warned her.

Matilda finally withdrew, fangs slipping free. She grabbed his chin from behind, turned him towards herself, and gently coaxed him into a passionate kiss.

Luka was a mess. She was jerking him fast and frenzied, yet her kisses were slow and gentle. The two actions warred against each other and drove him mad.

“Spill in my mouth, my King.”

Luka’s eyes bulged from his head, and his senses returned to him when she released him. Swiftly, he stood and presented his manhood to her. His dick slipped past her bloody mouth to the back of her throat. He thrust in and out, fingers finding their hold in her curls for leverage.

Matilda gagged on his dick—her breath temporarily stolen from her as her husband used her mouth.

She stared up into his steely gaze and was momentarily distracted by the blood that spilled from his neck down to his chest like a slow-moving creek.

The blood leaked into his pubic hair, eventually making it to the base of his dick.

She closed her eyes and hummed when the blood made it to the back of her throat.

A guttural growl left Luka, and a rush of semen chased the blood. Matilda swallowed it down as if it were her favorite meal.

He withdrew from her mouth with a content sigh and sat opposite her in the tub. Matilda eyed him, wiping away the cum and blood from her lips with her thumb before sucking the thumb into her mouth.

“Don’t look so pleased with yourself, huntress,” he said breathlessly.

Matilda’s brows climbed. “Oh, it is huntress now?”

“As the gods intended it.”

Matilda stilled when she heard rustling from their room. “Denalia is waking.”

“So soon?” Luka said, slightly desperate for more time with Matilda.

“Yes. She should be hungry,” Matilda replied, moving to stand. Luka stopped her.

“Before you go. What happened at the settlement when we left?”

She spent the next few minutes filling him in. He didn’t appear troubled until she mentioned the challenge would take place in the morning.

“So soon?”

“It isn’t my wish, but Prince Lykaon escalated. We need to remove him now or ready the soldiers for war.”

“And David? Do you think he is prepared?”

She paused to consider. “As prepared as he will ever be,” she replied honestly.

“And if David fails?”

“Then we have a contingency for that.”

Luka’s brow wrinkled. “What is the contingency plan?”

Matilda stood, water sluicing off her body into the tub. “Me.”
