Chapter 55 #2

“Hael,” her voice was louder now. “I want to. I want everything with you.”

I didn’t move, didn’t trust myself to. My eyes tracked her as she stood from the sofa only to sink onto the floor between my knees.

“Please,” she whispered, her voice barely audible now.

Her hands reached for my pants, and I could see she was shaking.

I grabbed her wrists, gently pulling her up from her knees and dragging her onto my lap.

Her breath hitched, my cock twitching against her.

Yeah, there was no hiding how badly I wanted her.

“Nollie, despite what Jaxs said, I didn’t bring you here to have sex with you tonight. We can take our time.”

I thought about everything that happened that first time I brought her here, how she was so desperate to do everything at once.

It made sense now—she thought she’d never get another chance.

Hell, after she was gone, I never thought we’d get this, and I wanted to savor it, wanted to make sure it was exactly what she wanted.

She shook her head. “No, I want to, Hael. I’ve been wanting to for a while now.”

I swallowed, not entirely sure I heard her right. I’d been fantasizing about it, dreaming that she felt the same way… “Are you sure?”

Her answer was a kiss. I was so caught off guard that I sat there for a second as her lips moved against mine. Then I reacted, cupping her behind her neck, pulling her face closer to mine, and matching her lips with a need of my own.

“Yes,” she murmured into my mouth between kisses. “I. Want.” I flipped her onto her back, her legs wrapping around my hips as she pulled me down on top of her. “You.”

My hands were everywhere, touching every inch of her, and still not getting enough. I wanted to feel her beneath the fabric. I wanted to know how soft her skin was, how it felt against mine.

I lifted my hips enough to grab onto her shirt with one hand, ripping the material and tearing it down the middle.

She pulled away from me, peeling her lips off mine, and I was terrified I went too far. Flashes of Dahes ripping her gown on his throne crept into my vision. Shit. Shit. Shit. I was so stupid. I was—

I pulled back, searching her face, needing to make sure she was okay. “I’m sorry, Nollie…”

She looked down at her shirt, the black material split down the middle, but she was smiling, almost laughing. “I should have listened to Bran and brought more clothes.”

I smiled then. Shit. I wasn’t really thinking about having to leave the cabin tomorrow. “You can have my shirt,” I said, relieved that I didn’t fuck anything up.

She shoved my chest back so I was fully off of her and stood from the sofa.

I leaned back onto the cushions, having no idea what she wanted, but was determined to let her pace things.

She was standing before me, her fingers reaching under the band of her pants before sliding them off her hips and down the long length of her legs. It felt like an eternity before the fabric pooled at her feet. My breath hitched.

Her bra came next as she reached behind her back to unfasten it, holding my gaze while the intensity built between us. My eyes didn’t leave her face as she bent forward, pulling her underwear off last.

It wasn’t until she stood back up, straightening her back, before I fully let my gaze roam over her body, and fuck, she was so damn perfect.

My cock twitched, and I had to remind myself again to not move too fast. “You’re beautiful,” I murmured, completely and utterly transfixed.

Her cheeks flushed red before her hands wrapped around mine as she gently tugged. I obliged, standing before her, my neck bending down to take in her face.

“Your turn,” she said, her voice shaking. I reached behind my back, tugging my shirt off in one swipe. Then I took off my pants and boxers next, my gaze never leaving hers.

I let her eyes explore my body, watching as she bit her lip before that beautiful gaze met mine again.

“I need you to tell me if you need to stop. If I do anything that—”

She cut me off, stepping toward me, and going onto her tiptoes. “You won’t.” Her lips brushed mine. Featherlight and soft this time. “I trust you, Hael. You can do anything you want to me.”

I picked her up, cupping my hands under her ass as I walked us over to the bed.

Her back hit the mattress as I stepped between her legs at the edge of the frame. She shivered, my fingers trailing down her abdomen. I moved lower and lower, taking my time, enjoying watching her squirm a little.

Her breathing was rapid, her chest rising and falling so fast that it was an effort to not want to turn all my attention to her breasts.

“Breathe, Nollie,” I said, my fingers finally reaching between her legs.

She squealed, her back arching as she tried to move away, but I took my other hand, pressing it against her abdomen, and keeping her there.

My other hand was gentle, switching between featherlight touches and circular pressure as I worked her.

“What… what are you… doing?” she breathed.

“Anything I want,” I smirked, repeating her words back. Her eyes widened and her hips jutted harder against my fingers.

“I thought… we… we were going… to…”

Fuck—seeing her struggle to get words out as pleasure rode her was my new favorite thing. I could feel wetness pooling over my fingers, could feel her own lack of patience as she ground against my hand.

“We will,” I murmured, bending forward so my breath was against her neck. “But your first time can hurt, I want to make sure you can handle me.”

As soon as I said the words, I moved a finger against her entrance, switching my thumb to continue circling her clit.

Slowly, I pushed my finger inside, kissing her as I went. She gasped into my mouth before her lips were hungrily moving against mine. I added another finger, working as she continued to grind against my hand.

“Hael—” Her breath caught, I could feel her tightening around me. “Hael, I—” Her hands wrapped around my neck, gripping me so tight that I hoped it’d leave a bruise. I wanted something permanent, some reminder of this exact moment. Because watching Nollie come undone might just be my own undoing.

She fell back against the mattress. “Hael,” her eyes locked onto mine, and I wanted to freeze her expression. Her hair was splayed out around her, her cheeks flushed, her eyes glistening. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. “I want you inside of me.”

I pulled her all the way onto the bed, climbing on top of her.

“This might hurt,” I said. “But I’ll go slow. If you need me to stop, tell me.”

She nodded her head, and I wasn’t sure if she’d even be able to speak. She was breathless, her chest was still rising and falling, but she looked more relaxed now than when I first brought her over to the bed.

I lined myself up, then bent forward to kiss her, wrapping my hand around her neck. She let out a whimper as I slid inside her, my mouth capturing the sound as I softly grazed my lips over hers. I took it slow, letting her adjust to every inch, kissing her in between.

Her hands found my back again, digging further into my skin, but I didn’t care. Nothing mattered except the feeling of being inside of her.

Nollie gasped as I finally hit the back of her, her body tensed. I kissed her through it, slowly, softly. “Do you need me to stop—”

“No,” she whispered, pulling my face back down to hers. I felt the moment her body relaxed. “No,” she said again into my mouth.

Then her hips moved, jutting forward, and she said the single word a third time. “No.”

And I didn’t.

Nollie was leaning against my chest, and I kept having to pinch myself that this was real.

She was my Eclipsisian mate.

“Are you alright?” I asked, needing to make sure.

She nodded, her body curling into mine. “I’ve never been better,” she murmured, reaching over my chest and grabbing my necklace. Her fingers started absentmindedly tracing the ‘H’ engraved into it.

I pulled the blanket over her, knowing how much she craved the warmth. All her tics made sense now. Why she didn’t eat meat, why she was always cold…

“I think this might be the best night of my life,” she whispered, her voice barely audible. Her eyes were shutting, fluttering softly, and I knew she was desperately trying to stay awake.

“Me too,” I murmured back, leaning down to kiss her. I leaned my head against the pillows, staring up at the ceiling.

I wasn’t sure how much time had passed before I whispered, “I think I’m in love with you, Magnolia.”

Silence followed, and I forced myself to turn to look at her. Maybe I said too much. Maybe I—

I smiled as sleep found her and her breathing slowed. Her arm was draped over my chest, her fingers still clutching my necklace.

Yeah, I was totally, stupidly, foolishly in love. Magnolia had me wrapped around her finger, and I never wanted it to change.
