22. Stevie
CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
STEVIE
Itoss and turn in bed while Sebastian lies next to me, sleeping.
I don’t know what time it is, but the dull ache between my legs tells me I need to be awake doing something different.
My eyes scan the length of the muscles on his arm as it’s tucked above his head.
Then I let them glide along his sharp jawline before finally landing on the waistband of his boxers.
My pussy muscles clench knowing that his dick is less than a couple inches away from me.
Wine always gets me aroused, and now I find myself turned the fuck on, stuck in a bed with an insanely hot guy who I can’t touch—and what makes things even worse is that my body knows what he feels like, and I’m dying to experience him again.
I flip onto my back and stare at the white tray ceiling above me. The room is quiet, but the way my heart is racing echoes inside my ears like a bass speaker.
I suck in a deep breath, gripping the sheets in both hands, trying to push the feeling aside.
“Dammit,” I whisper under my breath.
I brought my vibrator! I always keep one in my travel bags because a girl can get lonely once in a while.
Carefully, I roll myself off the side of the bed.
Then I tiptoe over to my suitcase and dig through my clothes in the dark until my hand lands on the familiar rubber device.
My lungs release a sigh of relief as I pull it out, but my heart drops when I hear wrestling behind me.
I whip my head around to find Sebastian lying on his side, facing the opposite direction.
Another sigh of relief.
I lift off the floor with the vibrator in one hand and walk out of the bedroom.
Dragging my eyes around the room, looking for a discreet place to go, I see a lounge chair with a footstool in the far corner of the room.
Hidden beneath the shadows and away from the natural moonlight peering in from the crack in the drapes, I think it might work. Besides, I shouldn’t take long.
After one more glance behind me into the dark bedroom, I make sure I’m alone and walk over to the chair in the corner.
Crawling into place, I get myself comfortable with my back against the chair and then lower my panties to my ankles.
Holding my breath, I hit the one button, and the toy buzzes in my hand.
I lie back and close my eyes, bringing the vibrations to the top of my clit.
The instant it hits me, my insides clench, and my legs lock into place.
Suddenly, a creak in the wood halts my movements, and I slam my thumb into the button, turning it off. My heart stops. My eyes scan the dark room as my pussy tingles, craving for release.
“I haven’t been a good boyfriend, have I?”
“Shit!” I yelp, throwing the vibrator across the room. “Sebastian?”
Sebastian’s shadow stands in front of me. “You’re a needy girl, aren’t you, Stevie?”
Embarrassment seizes my entire body, sending heat straight up my back and burning my cheeks. I close my legs, pulling them up to the chair. “What?”
He kicks the footstool away, sending it toppling over onto the wooden floor. “I haven’t given you what you need.”
“You scared the hell out of me! How did you know I was over here?” I demand, my voice shaking.
Then he drops to his knees in front of me. “Open your legs.”
Oh my god. “What?”
His hands find the tops of my knees. I want to pull away, but I don’t. “Let me help you.”
“Help me?” I say, stunned. “I thought you were asleep?”
I can barely make out his smile through the shadows in the room.
“I hear everything.” He gently pushes on the inside of my knees.
“I see everything.” The pressure increases, and my legs part.
He slides in between them. A draft of cool air dusts my insides, making me feel vulnerable, but when I resist the grip he has on my legs, he stops me.
“Besides, my duty as your boyfriend is to make sure you’re satisfied.
And I haven’t done a good job with that. ”
My eyes flutter. “But won’t this complicate things?”
“Not if I don’t fuck you again.” He lowers his head to press a soft kiss on my inner thigh. “Consider this a favor. And since I’m a little hungry, you’ll be doing me one, too.”
Fuck.
He leaves long sweet kisses up my thigh until the heat of his lips finds my pussy. His tongue slides up with a quick lick. The action makes my back arch, and my head fall back against the chair.
“Do you want me to stop?”
“No.” I let out a moan. Am I going to let this happen?
“That’s my good girl,” he growls into my skin.
The trembling in my legs intensifies with anticipation. Oh my god. This is happening.
His wet tongue licks up one side and down the other before landing on my clit where he sucks at my arousal.
My back lifts off the couch as my hands slide into his hair. “Oh, Sebastian,” I groan, enjoying every second of this. “I needed this so badly.”
“You taste and smell amazing, Stevie,” he says against my pussy, before continuing to lick and nip at my bundle of nerves between my legs.
I can barely hear his words because I’m drowning in euphoria. My fingers grip his hair, guiding him into place, and he follows, responding to my every movement. I peel open my eyes for only a second to glance down to see him devouring me like he’s a desperate man needing this as much as I do.
The sight of his tattooed arms wrapping around my legs is almost enough to send me into an explosive orgasm. While his powerful hands grip my ass, keeping me in place, my lower body shakes and my thighs close, trapping him between them. His head tilts to the side, getting a deeper angle.
“Come for me, Stevie,” he mumbles into me. “Come all over my mouth so I can sleep soundly with the taste of you lingering on my tongue.”
“It’s coming,” I grit out, clenching my teeth together while my stomach clenches and my hips buck forward.
Sebastian rides my climax with me, keeping his mouth in place and darting his tongue inside and out. “Mmm,” he moans.
The aftershocks only take a second, and then the haze of it all dissipates, causing a whip of panic up my spine, locking it in place.
What did we just do?
Sebastian raises his head, his lips slick with my arousal. His tongue shoots out and swirls around his mouth. “Fucking amazing.”
Suddenly feeling exposed, I bring my legs to my chest. “Uh, um—”
“Now, let’s get a good night’s sleep, because we have a big day of acting tomorrow,” he says, rising to his feet.
Should we talk about this? Do we need to acknowledge what happened?
“Sebastian?”
He turns around before walking into the bedroom. “Yeah?”
A million emotions bounce around inside my chest, but I don’t know which one to focus on. I open my mouth to speak, but nothing comes out.
He stands in the doorway, patiently waiting for me. I finally muster the words. “Thank you?”
“From now on, when you need a release, I will be the one to do it.” His tone is sharp and catches me off guard. “I’m going to have to sleep on the couch now, because I won’t be able to handle myself lying next to you while I sleep with the taste of you teasing me.”
My lips part to suck in a breath. “Uh…yeah. Okay.”
I scramble to pull up my panties and pajama shorts. Then I jump off the lounge chair and sprint to the bedroom.
“Good night,” Sebastian’s distant words come from behind me.
I don’t answer him and instead close the bedroom door and bury myself underneath the covers, pretending like the last ten minutes didn’t just happen.
I’ve had a slight headache from the wine, but it’s nothing a hot shower and some coffee can’t fix. My embarrassment from his tongue between my legs? Nothing can fix that.
Sebastian spent the morning speaking with Hayden and Christian about the plans for this weekend.
Although I normally would have liked to be included, I was fine with letting him handle the complicated logistics and informing me of the things I need to worry about later because the distance between us was welcomed after what happened last night.
Also, I’d be lying if I said I still wasn’t processing the murderous conversation from last night’s wine event. It was surreal to listen to them.
After a long, hot shower and taking my time getting ready for the day, I’m enjoying some meditation on the balcony, taking in the fresh air and imagining living in a world where monsters didn’t exist.
“Hey.” Sebastian pushes open the French doors and steps outside.
With my feet kicked up on the circular bistro table, I glance back, taking in his tall frame, white shirt, and leather jacket. His face, shiny with my arousal, flashes through my mind.
“Hi.”
Sebastian sits in the chair next to me. “Relaxing morning—and night?”
I bite my lip nervously, unsure if he means the snuggling portion or the eating me portion. “Yeah.”
“How are you feeling now?”
“Better.”
A single hair falls over his left eye as he captures my gaze. “Ready for the plan?”
Are we not going to talk about it? Should we? Maybe it’s better if we pretend it didn’t happen?
I nod calmly, even though my stomach flips.
“A note was slipped under our door this morning.”
“A note?”
He leans forward on bent knees, handing me a white envelope. “The Society is meeting this afternoon in a conference room here on the property.”
I slide out the folded stationery with a whimsical font.
“It looks like a wedding invitation,” I comment.
Hello,
We will be meeting in the Merlot Conference Room this afternoon at 3 p.m. Be prepared for a history lesson. Afterward, there will be a cocktail hour followed by dinner. This will give you the chance to get to know the other members on a more personal basis.
See you there,
S.
“A history lesson?” I arch a brow.
Sebastian shrugs. “I don’t know. These are a narcissistic bunch of assholes, so maybe something about serial killers’ historical methods?”
“Interesting.”
“Hayden, Christian, and I spoke at length this morning about our next move. We need to go after Larry.”
“The Lurker?”
“Yeah,” he says.
“How?”
Sebastian leans back in his chair. “During the cocktail hour, we need to get him alone.”
