77. Noah

NOAH

Jeremy took Jenna home and Willow and I sat in that tub talking for almost an hour. I even had to refill the water twice because it wasn’t hot enough. As soon as the goosebumps ran along her shoulders, I knew she was getting too cold.

We spent the entire time talking, asking random questions to learn more about each other. A lot of them were completely off the wall and were actually really hilarious to see what the other would say.

It wasn’t your usual “What’s your favorite color,” or “Do you like dogs or cats more?” No, this woman decided she wanted to ask the craziest things. One thing that made me laugh was that she asked me if I was stranded on an island with nothing to eat, would I cut my hand or foot off to eat first.

It threw me off because who the hell would ask that in a romantic bath? My woman, that’s who. My perfect fucking woman.

Obviously, the answer is your non-dominant hand. You need to be able to walk, run, or swim to survive. And on a deserted island, if you were hobbling around on one leg, you probably aren’t going to be able to last long. That’s what I told her.

She laughed and said she chose the hand too. When I asked why, she cracked up saying that she would probably try to picture it like eating ribs. I was both impressed and disturbed as fuck.

God, I love this woman.

“Noah. Are you coming?”

I completely forgot that she was going to go find a movie for us to watch while I was figuring out what to make us for dinner. I said breakfast food because obviously breakfast food is the superior meal, but she wanted tacos. So, we’re compromising on breakfast tacos.

“I’m about to cook the sausage. Want to come help me with the eggs?” I ask.

“Okay, fun fact about me, I suck at cooking too,” she says as she comes up and wraps her arms around me.

“Listen, if I can handle cooking ground sausage, then you can handle scrambling some eggs.”

“But can you cook sausage, besides those microwave links we had?” she asks curiously.

“We’re about to find out,” I say, absolutely dead-fucking-seriously too, and she bursts out laughing.

“We could’ve ordered food.”

“But I still have all these groceries from the other morning.”

Her body slightly tenses but only for a second before she releases me and walks over to the fridge. She pulls out a big bowl of fruit that Jenna or Jeremy must have cut up earlier.

“What movie did you pick out for us?” I ask as she starts opening cabinets looking for something.

“What do you think about a horror movie?”

“Did you see my collection? That’s the only thing I own,” I laugh as I continue moving the crumbled sausage around in the pan.

I’m only about eighty-five percent sure of what I’m doing right now, but I figure as long as it isn’t pink, it should be good…Right?

“Do you like Saw?” she asks as she stretches up on her tiptoes and tries to grab a bowl.

I stand there for a moment watching my shirt she’s wearing ride up her perfect thighs to reveal just the slightest bit of that plump ass of hers that I want to sink my teeth into.

“Noah. Eyes up here,” she teases, and I can’t help myself.

I spin her and press her against the counter before cupping her face and bringing my lips to hers. She lets out a soft moan as I roll my hips against her showing her just how much she affects me.

“We could always skip the movie and just go have breakfast in bed,” I groan against her lips.

“If we do that, then we won’t eat.”

I can’t help the laugh that escapes me.

“Oh, Little Rabbit, I will definitely be eating.”

She moans against my lips as I continue to kiss her.

“No,” she whimpers when my hand slides up under her shirt to roll her nipple between my fingers.

“No, what?”

“We need to eat.”

“Ugh,” I groan as I rest my forehead against hers. “Fine,” I huff, causing her to let out a small laugh.

“Food and movie first, then we can go to bed.”

She’s right. We’ve barely slept today. I told her we would sleep after the bath, but then her stomach growled and I knew she needed to eat. She didn’t get to eat much during breakfast because she was telling Jenna about her past.

“Okay. What’s the shortest movie you want to watch?”

I’m practically pouting as I turn my attention back to cooking our dinner.

“Uhh…Titanic?” she laughs.

“Woman, that is not short. I specifically remember my parents owning the dual VHS set of that movie. If it was on two VHS tapes, it doesn’t even slightly qualify as short.”

“Okay, fine. How about we just watch an episode of a show while we eat? What’s your favorite sitcom?”

I have to think about that for a moment. I’m not big on reality TV. I love shows like Supernatural and Haunting of Hill House, but I think some of those episodes are like an hour long.

“Have you seen Friends?” I finally ask.

“Are you kidding me? I think I’ve seen that series at least fifteen times.”

“Fifteen?” I jokingly act shocked. “Welp, you’ve got my eleven times beat.”

“You’ve watched it eleven times?”

“I’m currently on my twelfth run through the series.”

“Well, that’s another thing we have in common,” she says as she starts cracking eggs into a bowl.

“I have a feeling there will be many more things that we have in common, Little Rabbit.”

Many more things.
