He hadn’t meant to let it slip that he loved her.

But if he hadn’t said it, he wouldn’t have found out that she’d been rewinding his life.

But it hadn’t.

Halfway through the Magnolia Hotel parking lot, he stopped short. A car honked and swerved to avoid him.

Maybe there was something Sam could do.

He hurried to his car, turned on his phone, and called the only other person he knew who might be able to make a difference, the one whom Talia would do anything for.

The phone rang.

“Hello?”

“Hey, Libby? It’s Sam. I need your help.”
