Chapter 24

I’m seething with an unbuilt rage I can’t describe. Jagger will be punished just like Tenley. Always the fucking hero, he’ll never learn.

I’m smiling from ear to ear thinking of a deserving punishment for them both.

“Where are we going Silas?” Tenley whines in the back, eyeing her in the rearview mirror, she glares at me through the glass and I have half a mind to pull over and leave her on the side of the road.

I highly doubt Jagger would let that happen, all high and mighty and shit.

Thinking about this only brings on a headache, one I don’t have time for.

“Silas,” Tenley snaps. My foot slams down on the breaks and we come to a screeching halt in the middle of the road.

Breathing heavily I stare at her through the rearview mirror, my glare one of warning.

Hugging Jagger’s jacket to her body, the car goes deathly silent as she continues to stare at me.

She wants to argue, but she holds her words with the shut of her mouth.

She has guts. I'll give her that, she’s sassy too.

“Don’t question me, Princess.” I growl pushing my foot down on the accelerator taking off, forcing everyone to slam back into their seats, Tenley grips Jagger’s side holding onto him as I speed us down the road.

I don’t miss the frown etching his face as he stares down at her.

His brows furrow slightly when she shifts, her leg must touch his because he tenses suddenly and I bet he’s doing his darn hardest to hide the effect she has on him.

Even I’ll admit having her in my arms did something to my dick.

I’ll even go as far as saying Tenley is hiding the effect my touch gave her even more. Sassy little minx she is.

Jagger for the most part is submissive, but I see the way Tenley is bringing out that possessive asshole in him, both Zephyr and I are so good at.

The thrill of the speed arises something inside me and I force my foot down harder. Zephyr exchanges a look with me from the corner of his eye before he slaps my arm getting my attention.

His look telling me without any words.

Slow down asshole.

He’s right, I tend to go off the rails when I’m pissy, and since Tenley came back into my life I seem to be more on edge than normal.

Plus I’ll never hear the end of it from my father if I crash my car, I don’t have the time nor the energy to deal with him more than is necessary.

Listening to him I ease my foot up. I don't normally take commands from anyone but fuck it I’ll bite my tongue this one time.

Pulling into the vacant area we sometimes hold parties at, ignoring Tenley’s protest as Neo tosses her clothes in her lap, she scrambles to get dressed.

Jagger’s careful to shield her from prying eyes as she slides her dress over her head, such a shame she’s not willing to follow my orders, we could have had a fun night.

Not wanting to stay here any longer because if I have to stay in here smelling her any fucking longer I might just say to hell with it and fuck her right here, right now.

It’ll be a show no one will ever forget that’s for sure.

But again Jagger will just play the damn hero and he might just lay my ass out for putting her on display like that.

I almost want to see how it’ll play out, fucking tempting.

I slide from my car slamming the door behind me, seconds go by before the others join me. Their footsteps are heavy walking behind me as we join the crowd.

“Silas.” Blaire smiles, her shrill voice irritating the fuck out of me, coming up to me running her hand over my chest, I latch onto it shoving it from me my message clear, dont fucking touch me.

She lets out a sound before she stares behind me, her mouth going wide.

“You came with her?”

“Yes.” I simply say, ignoring her presence altogether.

When will she get the fucking hint?

“Come, Princess.” I say and look back at Tenley. Blaire lets out a huff and storms away.

I grip Tenley’s hand pulling her behind me as I join the group.

“Well look who finally decides to grace us with his presence, the almighty Silas Creed.” Knox snaps, eyeing me before crossing his arms across his chest.

“I had shit to do.” I snap back. My irritation was clear.

“Yeah, it looks like it.” Knox smiles looking at Tenley before his eyes travel down the length of her body and back to me.

He smirks knowing he’s riling me up by daring to look at what doesn't belong to him .

“Let's do this. I have shit to do too.” Knox growls before storming off toward the old mausoleum we meet in.

Rain stands to the side, being the obedient little mouse she is, Knox tilts her chin with his fingers placing a soft kiss to the side of her mouth before he begins to walk away.

Rain stares after him, before turning her head toward Tenley, giving her a soft smile before I grab her hand and pull her behind me as we make our way with the others.

“Whatcha doing Creed, no girls.” Haddon grunts, eyeing Tenley.

“She’s not just any girl.” Jagger says placing a protective arm at Tenley’s back.

Haddon scoffs, eyeing Baron and Maxim.

“Funny, is she hiding a fucking dick in that sweet little body?” Haddon barks.

“Watch your mouth.” Neo says, flicking his knife up ready for a fight.

“Alright enough.” Knox commands.

“You all know the rules, no fucking pussy. That includes your side hustle.” He eyes each of us daring us to argue.

“Jagger stay with Tenley.” I tell him.

“Gladly,” he answers.

“All members must attend every meeting.” Baron declares.

Releasing a deep breath I eye Tenley for a moment before I clutch her hand in mine and drag her behind me back to my car.

This is me displaying what belongs to me, if anyone dares argue they’ll be packing their bags and leaving Monarch Prep so damn fast they’ll barely have time to blink.

Opening the door, I nod before I murmur. “Get in.”

Tenley follows my directions, knowing not to argue with me right now, sliding into the seat. Staring up at me she eyes me before I lean down and stroke my finger across her chin.

“Stay put, don’t fucking move. Understand?”

She nods, sinking into the seat. Slamming the door shut I lock it knowing she can get out if she wants to but at least no one can get to her unless she lets them in. I pause for a long beat, staring down at her through the window.

Walking back to where the others wait I throw my arms out.

“So we fucking doing this or what?”

Zephyr grips my upper arm, forcing me to look at him before I stride past them all and reef open the door. Catching up to me he utters. “What are you doing?”

“Whatever I want.”

“What are you playing at?” Zephyr eyes me before his tongue darts out wetting his lip.

“I want to find out how far we can take her?”

“You want to break her, what if she’s unbreakable?” he asks, raising his eyebrow.

I smile, unable to control the effect his words have on me. He had no problems showing her just what he could do.

Wrapping my fingers around the back of his neck I tug him in close until his lips grace mine.

“Our little whore will be breakable, we just have to find what it is that breaks her.”

Zephyr smiles and takes a step back, my hand falling to my side.

“Right if we’re done with the little show.” Knox barks standing beside me. “Let’s get down to business.”

Knox eyes me warily before he gestures for me to start.

As head of Monarch prep it’s my duty to start each meeting.

“As you know something is happening right under our noses, something we have no clue about.”

Murmurs and whispers begin before Knox clears his throat.

“You wouldn’t be talking about your new toy would you Silas?” Killian utters, crossing his arms.

“Our fathers are planning something.” I say ignoring Killian’s remark about Tenley.

“Wouldn’t be the first time they've gone behind our backs.” Sterling comments.

“Zephyr.” Knox says forcing him to look at him. “Are you ready to tell us what happened that night?” Pulling his lip between his teeth Zephyr shakes his head.

Knox knows he refuses to talk about that night. The night his father died. The night Drake Alston murdered his wife in cold blood before turning on Zephyr.

Nobody knew why he did it. What made him snap. Zephyr only came out alive because he fought his father for the gun, it went off and his father died in his arms.

Glancing at Zephyr I watch as the memory floods him and his jaw twitches. He blames himself for what happened. Just like I do, my mother died a few years later.

“Malachi?” Knox says, nodding at the one guy who might actually know what Zephyr is feeling.

Witnessing his entire family being murdered by a masked figure before he’d been left to die, he’d barely made me out alive, the intruder had slit part of his throat, Malachi refuses to talk even though he went through some intensive rehab and surgery so he could.

He grunts, refusing to speak. His silence is something we’re all used to.

He refuses to speak, going mute instead. Being left to bleed out to die after watching your entire family die first would do that to anyone.

“Don't be an ass, Knox.” Cannon drawls. The bigger than life dude stretches his shoulders wider daring Knox to say another word.

“I want to understand how the fuck we keep losing people?” Knox snaps, his eyes blazing.

“We all know who's responsible.” Jagger murmurs.

“Even if that’s the case, pretty boy, there’s no proof.” Knox snaps.

“Watch that tongue Knox.” I warn him.

Smirking, Knox chuckles, “I knew it, admit it Creed.” I knew what he meant, what he was so desperate for me to say out loud. But I froze.

Eyeing Jagger, his chin drops to his chest focusing on the floor at his feet. Zephyr gives me a meaningful look over Jagger’s shoulder. But again I hold my tongue. These guys don’t need to know my business.

Reluctantly Knox stops the questions, knowing I won't budge.

“What’s the deal with the chick anyway?” Nyx utters.

“She’s my business.” I say.

“She’s more than that?” Knox grins.

“She’s ours.” Neo grunts, taking a step forward.

“So it’s not just pretty boy here, you guys share?” Haddon chirps.
