Chapter 4 #2

“Are you…going to say please?”

He huffed. “Is that what you like? You up against a wall, the man behind you begging?”

“I don’t know. I’ve never done this.”

“That’s a relief.” His right hand rubbed down the inside of my thigh. “Please let me have you.”

Any half-baked intention I had of drawing this little game out vanished at those dark, seductive words, his voice rough, though still sounding like a singer’s.

“Yes.”

He kissed the side of my neck but didn’t speak again. I felt him get my jeans open, finally. He pulled them down, and my briefs along with them. I thought he would take me in hand just like he had in the bathroom, and I wanted him to.

He didn’t. He placed his hands on my hips, and within moments, he had my back pressed up against the wall. For a second, I thought he’d changed his mind, thought I’d have to do some begging of my own, but no. I couldn’t see much, but I felt his movements as he went to his knees.

Unable to see what was happening, I jolted when he licked the underside of my cock. He steadied my hips and sheathed me in his mouth so that he could lap up my precum. I writhed as much with surprise as with pleasure.

If I’d thought he was good at just touching, then he was…

Well, his mouth knew tricks that—to date—I had never experienced.

Delicious suction, the barest trace of teeth ghosting over my foreskin, and then the way he kissed my cockhead gently before going right back to swallowing me to the hilt… It was something else.

My head rolled back. My eyes fell shut. I whispered pleas to him, combed my fingers through his hair, all until I couldn’t hold back anymore and thrust into his mouth.

If that bothered Auris, he didn’t show it. He continued what he was doing, and while I was feeling quite spoiled, I knew without a doubt that he was the one in control, savoring and tasting not just me, but my responses, my reactions, my quirks, whatever those were.

And I liked that. I liked the control, intangible right up until I leaned sideways and he pushed me back into position, right up until I wiggled my hips and found myself held still by strong hands.

“Auris,” I whispered into the night.

As if his name was the magic word he’d been waiting for, the character of the blowjob changed.

It took him what felt like less than a minute to get me off.

He took me deep and tightened his throat around me, then pulled almost all the way off to suck my head.

Then he started over, but after two more seconds, I was coming in his mouth.

I didn’t scream, but any sound, any mindless, needy noise between a sigh and a moan, would have felt loud in these dark woods.

I was noisy.

When he pulled off, I whimpered, not quite sure why.

I was still shaking, my legs close to buckling. He pulled my pants back up, put me back in order, much like he had done in the bathroom. Then he straightened and held me against his chest while I was still catching my breath, our bodies close in that deep comfort after the rush of orgasm.

“My Ethan.” His lips fluttered against my temple.

There was no need for a response. Auris held me, and I held on to him, unwilling to break the physical contact. I struggled for breath and balance. He gave me the latter while allowing me time to find the former.

“What about you?” I said after a while.

“About me?”

“You didn’t get off.”

His exhale made the skin on the side of my face tingle. “I didn’t do this to get off, as you put it. You liked it?”

“Yeah, I liked it.”

“Good. Then that’s what I wanted out of it. Do you mind if I kiss you?”

“Kiss me.” I readily tipped my head back to meet him.

Our lips brushed together tenderly, hot breath mingling.

When we broke apart, I leaned back against the wall, looking around the dark building that was mostly shadow.

“Again,” I whispered, then realized he might think I was asking for another blowjob. “Kiss me again,” I clarified. My voice felt tiny and unreal in this place so far removed from the world.

Auris pulled me into his arms and did as I asked. I sagged against him, ready to collapse and fall asleep finally.

He cupped the back of my head. “We should go back. I can bring you here another time, if you want.”

It took a second to sink in. That was a promise of the future.

I hadn’t even considered the possibility of that, of seeing him again.

This night seemed like the kind of thing that happened, and every night after, it would simply be a cherished memory of the past, a thing outside of reality that had a beginning, a middle, and an inevitable end to it.

I’d never considered that it might not end.

Words stuck in my throat.

“What I said upset you.” He tipped my face up with a finger under my chin even though I could barely see him. “I’m not sure why. Would you like to tell me?”

His soft-spokenness was a gentle invitation, luring me to break open my chest and bare my beating heart, my innermost thoughts, but I resisted, shaking my head.

I’d learned the hard way that being open about my feelings gave other people ammunition to use against me, and I wasn’t about to repeat that mistake.

I blinked, though the darkness remained. “Should we get going?”

For a moment longer, he kept holding me, kept looking at me, the glimmer from the flashlight catching his outline. “All right.”

He stepped back, and I pulled away from the wall.

He handed me my bag and the flashlight, then took my hand to lead me safely out of the forest. Not a wolf to drag me in deeper, then, but what exactly he was, whether he was a monster or not, I still wasn’t sure.

What I did know was that my feelings for him made no sense, no sense at all.
