11. Chapter 11

His fingers squeezed my hips, like a warning. “For once in your life, let someone do something nice for you. There’s so much I could do for you, if you just let me. You don’t have to work here. You work enough keeping your grades up, working on your final project, your catering job—"

I drew back from the tantalizing heat of his body as much as possible. “How the hell do you know about my grades?” That’d never been a topic of discussion between us.

His jaw clenched. “You’re missing the point.”

“No, I don’t think I am. I’m not your charity case, paying for my education is not a way for you to absolve your guilt.

What I want to know is how you know about my grades?

” The gears in my head were working overtime now.

“How did you even know I needed financial aid? How did you become my benefactor, Justin?”

It couldn’t be some coincidence, there was no way. He’d found me. He’d sought me out. And now he needed to fess up about it.

His eyes said he wanted to throttle me.

I met them head on. “How?” I growled.

“I’ve kept tabs on you,” he growled back.

I didn’t know what to do with that information, so I filed it away. “For how long?”

“Since before your mother passed.”

That didn’t make any sense.

“W-why?”

“Because I couldn’t get you out of my head,” he said between clenched teeth. The look on his face was not of someone guilty of neglect, but of a man obsessed.

Confusion and desire warred within me.

Tension radiated off him.

His face dipped to my neck, the hot puff of his breath raising goose bumps.

“You drive me crazy.” His lips brushed against my neck, the spot beneath my ear a direct line to my nipples and core.

“Do you know how wrong it is for me to want my stepdaughter? Especially when she wants nothing to do with me?”

The feel of him messed with my brain, disconnecting it from my mouth. “Y-you took her from me,” I blurted.

“I know,” his lips pressed more firmly against my skin, dragging from my ear to where my shoulder met my neck. “And I’m sorry. I should’ve known sooner.”

My lust filled brain was slow to catch his words as he ground his erection tighter against me.

“What?” I moaned. Somehow, I don’t think we were talking about the same thing.

I should’ve been more concerned about that, my brain loved a good puzzle, but right now my brain was on vacation, my body in full control.

And it only cared about one thing. The feel of Justin.

All I smelled was his body—that spice and chlorine.

It was like a flood gate had opened, and if I was going to break this one time, I wanted to take it all in.

“God,” Justin’s hands glided up from my hips, pushing the material of my blouse up, inch by inch. “This is wrong.”

“So wrong,” I agreed, but my hands were already in his hair, greedily sifting the silky strands through my fingers, pulling him closer.

My pulse beat erratically against his mouth, crying out for his touch.

I wanted his tongue on me, in me. I shouldn’t have felt this way about him, but I couldn’t seem to stop.

“We need to stop,” the gruff sound of his voice and the press of his cock against me said otherwise.

It was a fork in the road, and my brain traitorously laid out the sequence of events for me. One path led to frustration; my moral compass still intact. The other led to pleasure, and the heel of my foot going right through my compass, smashing it until the arrow didn’t even work.

The consequences were more severe down the path of pleasure. It was crossing a line, one that could not be erased once passed.

High risk, high reward.

Dare I go farther?

Hell, we’d already crossed a line, what was one more?

I’ve never responded to a man like this before, it was almost criminal to deny myself the experience. My experiences with men in general were limited. I had no problem flirting, kissing, touching, but I’d never gone as far as sex. I’d never felt the all-consuming hunger that I did now.

The heat of Justin’s hands on my body sent me trembling.

One quarter, I reminded myself. If I made terrible choices, the consequences would only follow me for a few short weeks. Then I would never see him again.

The thought made my chest ache.

There was no happy ending for me where Justin was concerned. He would always be the man who took the only family I had away from me. The man that got everything, while I was left out in the cold. In the dark. Alone. Fighting my way in the world with no one at my side.

I hated that the feel of Justin’s skin on mine made me feel warm. Alight.

I didn’t feel alone with his arms around me.

His face was still pressed into the side of my neck, breathing me in like he needed me more than his next breath. It was heady, and despite going to hell for it, I wanted more.

I tipped my face until my mouth touched the shell of his ear. “Don’t stop, Daddy.”

His arms were bands of steel around me, jerking me until our bodies were flush.

“I thought I was your villain?”

I bit his ear and enjoyed his hiss. “Don’t psychoanalyze me.”

“Does this mean you forgive me?”

I frowned, again feeling like we were speaking about two different things. But he didn’t need to know that. This would be fleeting enough that it didn’t matter. “No.”

He sucked in a quick breath of air, my answer hitting him harder than I expected.

Again, I wanted to ask more, but it would only tie me closer to him. This was a decision of no emotion. Selfish need.

“Then why are you letting me touch you?” His fingers slid along the waistband of my slacks, brushing the smooth skin of my abdomen, over and over again, before settling at the clasp. The whir of my zipper cut the air.

My nails dug into his shoulders.

His tongue snaked out to trace the vein in my neck. “Hm, little girl? Why are you letting the big, bad wolf touch you?”

My legs tried to clench together but Justin’s body kept them spread.

The heat and power of his muscles pressed against me.

The doctors coat and slacks couldn’t mask the feel of his rock-hard thighs against mine.

The cut of his shoulders stretched the material of his white lab coat, teasing me at what might lay underneath.

The ache between my legs grew. His hand teased me where my panties met my skin below my belly button. I wanted those fingers lower.

“Admit it,” Justin drawled, his voice barely penetrating the lust filled fog in my brain, “you like it. You crave it as much as I do.”

“You’re wrong,” I lied, my back arching to press myself more fully against him. I’d be humiliated if I wasn’t so turned on.

“Sounds to me like you’re lying again, little girl.” I was deranged, but the way he called me little girl sent a thrill right down to my center.

“Oh yeah?” I challenged, finally letting my hands do what they’d wanted to since the first time I saw him, dressed to the nines, at the gala.

Touch him.

“What are you going to do about it?” I yanked the material of his shirt out of his dress pants and slid my hands underneath, exploring the smooth plains of his abdomen.

The muscles bunched under my hands. He was heated marble, sculpted to perfection.

I hesitated, not sure if I wanted to move up or down.

Another choice with varying conclusions.

I decided on upward, my hands sliding beneath his expensive shirt, the palm of my hand grazing over his nipple. The heat of him had my own temperature rising.

“I could do a lot of things,” he promised. “All of which you’d enjoy.”

That’s what scared me. I should be pushing him away, but all I wanted to do was pull him closer.

A dangerous combination.

But I was never one to let my opponent get the better of me. “I bet I could get you to beg first,” I breathed against his mouth.

His chest vibrated under my hand, the only warning I got.

He closed the space between us, his lips hot and demanding on mine. I met him with the same fervor. Our tongues tangled, teeth nipping, pleasure bordering on pain.

The damn had burst, and I was drowning in sensation.

I couldn’t bring him close enough, touch enough. Everything felt too restricting. Even my own skin.

“Oh yeah?” he grinned when we parted for air. “Well, I bet I can make you come first.”

My stomach flipped.

“I bet,” he continued in that sexy purr, “you’re already soaked and one stroke away from orgasm.

” His fingers finally dipped into my pants, and I stopped breathing all together.

He brushed the outside of my panties. “Fuck, Katie,” he touched my drenched center through the thin cotton, and it took everything I had to prove him wrong and not fly apart. “How can you stand this?”

If he meant my constant state of arousal around him, I’d somehow gotten used to it over the past weeks. But I wasn’t about to tell him that.

“It’s not so bad,” I told him, leaning in to lick the shell of his ear.

“Most of the time if I need release, I touch myself and take care of it.” I bit his earlobe and smiled when his back stiffened.

It was a truth I never really shared with anyone, definitely not the men in my life either, but the words slipped out easily with Justin.

“Do you think of me when you do it?” his voice came out ragged.

Bastard.

I ducked my head into the side of his neck and bit.

The groan it pulled from him was intoxicating.

I thought I’d successfully distracted him, but his fingers paused, and his gaze was back on mine. “Tell me.”

A silent battle raged between us, and I wanted to make him suffer like he was making me suffer.

He closed the distance between us until our noses touched. “Now, little girl, or you can finger fuck yourself.”

I bared my teeth at him, but he only smiled.

“You,” I forced through clenched teeth. “I think of you, Daddy. When I touch myself. When I rub my clit. When I stretch myself wide with my fingers—”

He pushed two fingers into me.

My head dropped back on a groan, a tremor of pleasure rocking me.

His thumb rubbed against my clit setting off fireworks.

I clung to his shoulders.

A squeak came from outside. Outside the room, because we were still in Justin’s clinic and he had patients out there. And Midge.

“Holy shit.”

“That good?”

“No,” I tried to move away but couldn’t. “We’re at work. Your work. There are people out there!”

As if to punctuate my words a knock came on the door, followed by Midge’s nosy voice. “Dr. Kingston? Is Katie awake? I heard a groan.”
