18. Daniel #3
“Please, please, just a little more,” Chaol whined, sucking in a hissed breath through his teeth.
Daniel gave him what he wanted, fucking in deep.
He would always give Chaol what he wanted.
His spine arched beautifully as he came again.
A deep sound, almost like a purr, vibrated through him, and Daniel pressed his smile to Chaol’s shoulder.
He made that sound every time. Daniel fucking loved it.
His hole fluttered, cinching tight around Daniel’s cock and milking his own orgasm from him. He buried his groan in Chaol’s neck, pulling his hips back and grinding in deep. His channel was already slick with cum, leaking out of him. It was filthy and sloppy and perfect.
“We’ll have to stop eventually,” Chaol rasped, threading their fingers together.
“Nuh-uh. Staying here forever,” Daniel slurred into his hairline. “Demon stamina is incredible.”
Chaol laughed. “We still have to eat. At some point.”
“I only want you.”
Chaol purred again, turning his head to give Daniel an off-center kiss. “Can you imagine being alone with me and not doing this?”
Daniel growled. No, he couldn’t imagine it, and he didn’t want to. This was how they were meant to be.
Chaol chuckled. “That’s what it was like for me when we were in Hell together. You were right there, but I couldn’t have you.”
“You could have,” Daniel whispered. Even if he couldn’t have gotten hard in Hell as a human soul, it didn’t matter. He wouldn’t have denied Chaol anything, even then.
“I didn’t know that then. Besides,” he wriggled his hips, and Daniel’s cock perked up at the friction, “I think I like this better.”
Daniel groaned, pushing his cock deeper in Chaol’s body. “Are you sure? I feel like a fucking animal. I want to keep you here all day and all night. Forget training, forget fighting anyone.”
“Exactly.” Chaol preened. “You want me more than anything else in the world.”
“I do.”
Chaol turned to look at him over his shoulder, and a flash of vulnerability appeared in his dark eyes. “I was alone for a long time, darkling. Nobody wanted me. Even Amon chose Lilith over his own brother.”
Daniel growled, squeezing Chaol closer.
Chaol grinned, a quick, there-and-gone thing that set Daniel at ease.
A thoughtful frown furrowed his brow as he turned to stare up at the ceiling.
“I didn’t really think anything of it. I wasn’t wallowing in my loneliness.
He’d been gone a long time before he died, and I’d learned to live on my own.
I thought I was fine—until I met you. Until I heard a goddamn sin eater say ‘your brother is my brother.’ You’ve got friends and family here. They aren’t mine, but you are.”
“Maybe not yet, but they could be,” Daniel said earnestly. “I want them to be yours. I want us to be a clan. I know Nic and Julian will learn to love you, because I do. If people like Talon and Shadrach don’t,” he shrugged, “fuck ‘em.”
Chaol blinked at him in shock. “You… love me?”
Daniel didn’t understand. Was that surprising? How many times had he said Chaol was his? And that meant forever.
“Well, yeah,” he said. It should be obvious. “You’re mine. You said I’m yours. Doesn’t that mean…?”
“Yeah!” Chaol said quickly. “Yeah, it does. I’ve just never—had anyone say it before.”
“Oh.” That was shocking, but the bestial part of him that wanted to take and claim was satisfied to know he was the only one who had ever given Chaol this. “Well, I do love you. And I’m not going anywhere. In fact, I was actually worried that you would get fed up with my baggage and leave.”
“Baggage?” Chaol repeated. “What baggage?”
Daniel groaned. “The leviathans, the paladins, the angel, all of it. Being with me is going to be challenging for you. You’ll have to be around Talon and Shadrach, at least for a while. There’s a war coming with the paladins, and now this angel has teamed up with them. It’s… a lot.”
“Worth it.” Chaol waved a dismissive hand. “You walked through Hell for your brother, but I walked through Hell for you, darkling. A little war is nothing compared to that.”
Daniel chuckled. “A little war, huh? No big deal?”
“Nope, not at all.”
“And then what? After the war is over?” Daniel asked, rocking his hips a little.
Chaol went boneless, moaning. “After that, I think you should show me the world. I hear it’s different than I remember.”
Daniel rolled one of Chaol’s nipples in his fingers. “I actually haven’t seen much of the world. I grew up right here in LA, behind the guild’s wall.”
“Then—” Chaol stopped, panting, as Daniel widened his thrusts. “Fuck. Then—we’ll see the world together. You can fuck me just like this all around the world.”
“Yeah?” Daniel gave him a push, rolling on top of him and pinning him to the bed. “Just like this, huh? You like it when I fuck you like this?”
“Hell yes,” Chaol moaned. “I’ve never—felt so wanted in all my life. Fuck, Danny, yeah, just like that.”
Daniel dragged Chaol’s hands above his head and pinned them to the mattress. The kalmach keened, rolling his hips back to meet Daniel’s deliberate thrusts.
Yeah, he would never get enough of this.
