Chapter 7 The Fight in the Station

The announcement said the train was arriving.

I picked up my luggage and said goodbye to Zhou Muyan.

“Thank you for seeing me off. Tell Xie Mingming to live on. Only then is there hope.”

A hand suddenly grabbed my wrist.

Zhou Muyan pulled me and walked out of the station at a fast pace.

“What are you doing? Let go!”

I struggled hard, trying to free myself.

“Zhou Muyan, are you crazy? The train is arriving. If I do not board, I will miss it.”

“Then stay.”

Zhou Muyan stopped and looked at me steadily.

“Stay?”

I did not dare ask what happened next.

I had no interest in inserting myself into others’ relationships.

Viewing it from Zhou Muyan’s girlfriend perspective, if a boyfriend had a child and a persistent ex-girlfriend, no one would accept it.

Zhou Muyan showed no sign of letting go. He pressed closer.

“What are you afraid of? You said you would chase better people, yet you secretly gave birth to my child.

“Xie Xinran, you owe me an explanation.”

As he spoke, he lifted me onto his shoulder.

No!!

“Zhou Muyan, put me down. If you do not, I will call the police.”

“Call. Family matters are beyond police.”

I was carried out of the station and thrown into a car.

The driver looked frightened. “Boss, drive?”

“Yes.”

Zhou Muyan raised the partition and forced me into the corner.

“You did not tell me when you were pregnant, not when you gave birth, and not when the child got sick.

“You would rather tell my mom than me.

“Xie Xinran, do you think I am that unreliable?”

“Wasn’t it?”

I blurted out without thinking.

“Hah.” Zhou Muyan laughed bitterly.

“So in your eyes, I have always been this kind of person.”

I did not want to talk more.

“Since things have come to this, there is nothing left to say between us.”

If not for Xie Mingming’s illness, I would never have appeared before Zhou Muyan again.

Zhou Muyan lifted his head. “Nothing to say? Then do it.”

I stared wide-eyed, thinking I had misheard.

Only then did a hand grab the back of my head.

Zhou Muyan’s face came closer.

At the critical moment, I instinctively turned my head and dodged.

Then I raised my hand and slapped him hard.

“Are you crazy?”

Zhou Muyan covered his face and laughed.

“I am crazy. The moment I learned there is a child between us, I went insane.”
