Tasting her, he was thrilled at how much she was giving him.
Ivan had kissed women before, but there was no comparison to the kiss he was getting from Sen.
She tasted of the honey that she’d had in her tea.
Fresh flowers were the scent that he could smell when he was near her.
Everything about this woman brought him happiness, and he couldn’t have let her go right now if his life depended on it.
He was in love for the first and only time in his life.
When they finished with the kiss, he held her to his body.
He knew that she could feel his erection, and there wasn’t anything that he could do about it.
When she moved her hips closer to his, he moaned at the feeling and kissed her again.
This time, he didn’t hold his passion in check but loved the way that she responded to him.
It was like having a bit of heaven with her in his arms.
“If we keep this up, we’ll never make it home but might be arrested for having sex right here on the sidewalk.
” She giggled, and he laughed. It was a wonderful sound to hear her giggle, and he would love to hear it more often.
“I’m supposing that I should take you home before things get out of hand.
We only have a few days, and we’ll be married at the courthouse.
Are you sure you’re all right with that? ”
“I don’t know that I’d be able to stand waiting for a big wedding to happen.
I want to be your wife now.” She looked up at him and smiled.
“Besides, the sooner we get this over with, the better. I want to be your wife in the worst sort of way. To be called Serenity Fraizer is the best thing that will ever happen to me.”
“I agree. I can’t wait to introduce you as my wife.
I already do that now, but to make it official will be great.
” He pulled away from her, sure that he was going to do as he said and make love to her right on the sidewalk.
There would be much for people to talk about, but he didn’t care.
She’d be his, and that was what he wanted.
But in a more quiet setting. At least more private anyway.
“We should get home. We have those houses to look at tomorrow morning, and that will take up most of our day. I’ll go home to my lonely bed, and you’ll get to sleep in your big bed alone too. ”
“You’re silly.” Walking hand in hand to his car, he held the door open for her when she got in. Once he was in the car and buckled, he turned to her and kissed her on the cheek. “We’ll have to make plans to make love soon. I want you so badly now that I ache from it.”
“I do you as well. But we need a place to be able to have some privacy, and house hunting won’t give us that.
” She asked him about tonight. “You want me to spend the night with you? That would be fantastic. And fun. If you’re sure.
I don’t want to rush you into anything that you’re not willing to do. ”
“You didn’t suggest it, I did.” She smiled at him. “Yes, I want you to come and sleep with me. And to have sex. I want you, as I said.”
“All right. We’ll go to my place as it’s got clean sheets on the bed.
I want you to know that I’ve never taken anyone back to my place before.
” She said that she was glad that he’d said that.
“You’ll get more magic. I’m not sure how that will affect you when you do get it.
Brandy and the others were down for a few hours when they got it, so I want you to remember that. Are you sure you want to do this?”
“I’m about as sure of it as I have been anything in my life.” She looked out the front window of his car and smiled. “We’ll never get there if we don’t leave soon. I’m going to rock your world when I get you naked.”
“Christ, the things that come out of your mouth.” She laughed.
Just threw back her head and laughed like it caught her off guard.
When she looked at him, he had to smile.
The mirth on her face was something that he’d never forget.
She was so lovely that he couldn’t remember a time in his life when she wasn’t a part of it.
It was like he’d been waiting for her his entire life.
“I love you, Sen. So very much that I don’t know what to do with all this love that I have for you. ”
“Thank you.” The drive back to her place was a little tricky.
The weather had changed again from rain to frozen ice.
The roads were slick in places, but it was the black ice that had him taking his time on the way.
He was so tense when they got back to the new house that he had to sit in the driveway for several minutes to calm himself down, and he thought for sure that it was going to take him forever to get back under the wheel.
“I don’t care for this kind of weather. I’m going to have to get myself a better car with Four Wheel Drive soon so that I can get out and about without any trouble. Do you have a car?”
“I do, remember?” He said that he did remember now. “I don’t drive much. Usually, I just walk everywhere I want to be. However, with this weather, I have been driving more. And like you, it makes me tense when I have to drive when it’s nasty out.”
“Then it’s settled. We’ll get ourselves a new car each with Four Wheel Drive so that we can get around in the weather.
Also, in the spring, the weather is nasty too, with all the rain and melting snow.
I suppose we’ll need to get used to driving in this with the new cars again.
I’ve never had a new car before.” She said that her car was the first one she’d ever gotten when she started driving.
“You must take good care of it. I never would have thought it was that old.”
They made their way into the condo, and he salted the walkway that led up to the place.
It was like the road was slick, and he almost fell twice when going up the stairs.
He was worried about what the morning would bring, with it getting colder throughout the night.
They were calling for snow, and he could believe it, but the report said only a dusting, and as it stood right now, they had that much and more on the walkway.
He shoveled off what was there as he salted the walks.
He didn’t want Sen to fall just because it was cold outside.
After putting away the shovel, glad that there was enough salt around to get all the walks cleaned off, he made sure that things were safe for the two of them when they went into his condo.
Locking up the doors, he was happy to remember that he had a security system in the condo and cameras all around the place in the event that Debra came around.
And she would, too, of that he had no doubt.
And she’d be gunning for Sen when she did, too.
That scared him so much that he thought that he’d not get any sleep worrying about it.
Then he remembered that she’d not know where he lived.
That took a load of worry off his shoulders, and he was glad that he had talked her into coming to his place.
The condo was smaller than her home, but it was cleaned up and there wasn’t any kind of mess in the rooms. Plus, the sheets had been put in the washer since she’d wanted clean sheets on all the beds.
His place already had that, and he was glad that he’d taken the time to get them in the washer and changed out.
