Ivy and the Reapers

Summers at the mountain cabin gave Ivy a refuge from the lonely city and from the anger and chaos of her parents' loveless marriage.

Even after they left her with a creepy uncle, she looked forward to those months, especially after she met the reapers, Killian, Monty, and Theo, and kept their friendship secret because it made her life tolerable.

One summer that friendship turned sinister; their hatred kept her alive and fed a part of her that needed it, and she believed it had become something more before they left and everything collapsed.

She married the husband assigned to her and endured years of his apathy, hatred, and disgust, then tried to run despite knowing better.

He found her out and is dragging her back to the cabin, where either he or the three men she left behind may be the one who kills her.
