Jarran's Forbidden Memories

Dr. Evie Carr, a neurologist and psychologist, is sent to unearth the memories of Jarran Bando, an imprisoned Virilian with amnesia, so the notorious intergalactic criminal Pella Rin can stand trial.

She expects a supercriminal and instead finds a gentle man tending crops in the ship’s agricultural bay, barely able to form words when they meet.

Working with him each day, she tries to ignore a forbidden attraction, while Jarran, sure his love will remain one-sided, fights to speak more clearly and recover what he can of his past.

The fragments that return reveal atrocities and a history far more complicated than a man who simply turned evil, and Jarran begins to fear that Pella Rin still waits beneath his own mind.

When the Sifters, the criminal group he once led, come for him, he must protect Evie and keep that buried villain from reclaiming the empire that terrorized the galaxy.
